What really happened
Once we got to my apartment, they asked me why I thought of Karachi and Kanji. I smiled at the memories and tossed my head from side to side. "My real name is Karachi Tachiko Nanaimo. I was adopted by that woman and forced to be an idol at eight years old. She thought I had talent and gave me lessons. A tutor taught me guitar and someone else gave her the legal documents she needed to change my name." Tamaki nodded, considering the possibilities. "What happened to your real parents then?" He asked. Haruhi rolled her eyes and hit him on he head. "You don't just ask people that kind of question, senpai." I shook my head and held Shizuka a little tighter than before. "It's fine, Haru. Anyways, I was in America before I came back to Japan and that place is about as weird as it gets." I pause and allow them to laugh at the sudden comment before diving deeper into the story. "I've been moved back and forth for as long as I can remember and I'm tired of it." I let go of Shizuka and pulled put my contacts, revealing my lime green eyes. I set them down on the dresser and told them to wait there. I washed the dye out of my hair and put on some different clothes and my glasses. "This is what I used to look like before being an idol." I say, running a hand through my fiery red hair.
Honey squealed and hid behind Mori. "Yeah, thanks Honey." I say sarcastically. I was wearing a black button-up shirt and blue jeans with red converse. My real self probably frightened them a little bit now that I think of it. Shizuka put her hands on her hips. "But why did you come up with Kanji?" I laugh and take off the glasses (that I really didn't need) and grab a small frame.
"She's my sister." I hand her the frame and inside is a seventeen year old girl with electric blue eyes. (Picture) Shizuka smiled and gave the picture frame back to me. "Honey..." if it weren't for my hair color, I'd look like Hikaru and Kaoru but I'm taller and have a better build in my opinion. (My characters have embarrassed my yet again.) "What?" He peeks out from behind Mori's shoulder. "Am I scary?" Now that I had wiped off the skin stuff my doctor gave me, you could clearly see the large scar that ran from my left cheek to the base of my neck on the right side. I traced the scar across my neck and cheek. He screeched and hid behind Mori once again; This time screaming, "Yes! Yes!" Mori gave me a look that told me to back up. I put my head down and whispered things that no one could hear clearly. "What Karachi? What's wrong?" I look at her and shake my head, sending water everywhere. "Nothing, Shizu." I say dejectedly. I looked at the twins and they looked a little scared too. "You're not scared too, are you?" I whined. They cowered in the corner of my room and closed their eyes tightly. I groaned and got out my guitar, turning the random notes into a nice tune. "Can't swim so I took a boat, to an island so remote, that only Johnny Depp has ever been to it before. I stayed there 'til the air was clear. I was bored and out of cheer, then I saw you washed up on the shore. I offered you my coat, thank god that love can float. Crazy how that shipwreck meant my ship was comin' in. We talked 'til the sun went down, loved all the beach's sound. My treasure map was on your skin. Beauty in the water! Angel on the beach.
Ocean's daughter! I thought love was out of reach. 'Til I got her! Had I known it would come true, I would've wished in 92 for a mermaid just like you. Just like you. Shark's green with envy, they wonder what you see in me. Funny but sometimes can't help but wonder that as well. Now life is a holiday, makin' up for the years I paid. The way to this heavenly bay, it went through hell. Beauty in the water! Angel on the beach. Ocean's daughter! I thought love was out of reach. 'Til I got her! Had I known it would come true, I would've wished in 92 for a mermaid just like you. Just like you. Rescued you by the Bantu tree. All the gurl fish in the sea, couldn't hold a candle to you - They don't have a handle on you - They don't have a scandle on you - ( Don't know what this part says ) Savin' me was B-I-G! All the boy fish in the sea, they all wish that they could be me. Can't swim so I took a boat, to an island so remote, only Johnny Depp has ever been to it before. Beauty in the water! Angel on the beach. Ocean's daughter! I thought love was out of reach. 'Til I got her! Had I known it would come true, I would've wished in 92 for a mermaid just like you. Just like you. Just like you. Just like you.
I set my guitar back down and looked around, "Everybody done now?" I asked. "Mm." Mori said.
