This is a long one so buckle the fuckle up.

Her mother was British but immigrated to Japan when she was 14 to try to get into a hero school. It succeeded and that's where she met Eraserhead/Shota Aizawa, chara's dad. Chara's mother was called Howdy (she named herself that, her birth name was Hannah) Howdy and Aizawa were idiots and Howdy gave birth to Chara when she was 15. When Chara was 4, Howdy left their lives and went back to England, neither Chara nor Aizawa have ever heard anything about her since. She left no warning before leaving which left Aizawa devastated, he fell into a spiral of depression and only held it together because of Chara, though he did consider giving her up for adoption a few times, he's thankful he didn't. For the 4 short years Howdy was around, she taught Chara Spanish (she was fluent in it as her father was Spanish himself) which she is fluent in to this day.

To my knowledge, Chara is a Spanish name and it means Sara so that's why she's called that. Also it's my name but that's irrelevant
