Chapter 8: The Return

"Demertia, could you pass me that glass please?" asked Kinana.

"Oh, sure. Here." I say as I hand her the glass Romeo accidentally left. A couple weeks had passed since I got released from Porlyusica's grasp. Porlyusica is this guild's healer, but she doesn't really like humans. She seemed really mean and grouchy on top, but she is very kind underneath. She wouldn't let me leave until I could twist around without it hurting. Then, Romeo's dad, Macov, allowed me to stick around the guild.

"It doesn't really matter if you leave or stay, but at least here you don't need to worry about food or shelter" is what he told me, but really, this guild has barely anybody here. They are in the outskirts of the town, being kicked out from their original guildhall. To be honest, they are too broken mentally to actually do anything.

"How long will it take for Romeo to come back after that argument with the Master?" I ask, but I don't really expect an answer.

As I said that, Romeo comes in, and the 'Bully Guild' (as I call them) in tow. Most likely to get 'payment' for saving the Fairytail guildhall.

As soon as I see them, I always walk out, because this is a guild matter, and I am not part of the guild officially.

"See you later, Kinana. I'm heading into town, want me to get you anything?" I ask, but she just shakes her head.

"Okay then, see ya later," I say and leave. I stayed once, and the yelling really got to me.

As long as I could remember, loud noises bothered me. Which really was troublesome since... he liked to get hyped up and had a powerful set of lungs.

After my trip to the town, buying a box of chocolates and some cake mix, I started to head back. The other guild should have left for now, unless they wanted to push Macov some more.

As I came around the corner of the trail, their guild hall came into sight. Surprisingly, I saw a group of people I didn't recognize at the door. I could see that these strangers didn't belong in the other guild, since most of them are currently beating the other guild's butts.

Not sure what they would do to me, I stuck to the treeline, watching carefully. I noted how these people fought; it was swift and decisive.

"You guys!!" I heard Romeo say, and from the sound of his voice, he was smiling. He hadn't smiled in the month or so that I had known him.

"Hey, Romeo! Man, you've grown!" A voice from the door rang out, pretty loudly.

"Grey! Ersa! Master! You're alive!" Someone joyfully said, "You don't look a day older then when we last saw you!"

"Aye!" A higher pitched, almost small voice exclaimed, making me think of Sting and Rouge's cat partners.

"So they have survived," I swung around behind me. There, practically hidden in the trees was a man, physically older than me, with familiar black robes and a white sash.

"Z-Zeref-sama?"
