Levy's POV

I wait next to the small pond for my 'mom' to return. She have been gone for three days. I sit and look around. I have been eating. I hear the rustle of leaves as I turn to see a boy with black spikes hair to walk out. His ruby red eyes land onto mine as we stare at each other for some time. I sigh as I go back to looking at the pond.

"What are ya doing out here? The sun's about to set," he says.

"I'm waiting for my mom. She have been gone for three days," I tell the mysterious boy.

"Mind if I keep ya company," he ask me.

"Not at all," I say as he sits next to me.

We sit in silence for some time as we watch the fish swim in the pond.

"Ya hungry," he ask me.

"A bit," I mutter.

"Let's catch some fish then," he tells me.

I look at him and nod my head. We look around, looking for good sticks to carve as spears. We find some and others to cook the fish. He concentrate as an iron knife lands in his hand.

"Here. Make the sticks pointed so we can catch the fish," he tells me as I look at him then the knife then back at him. "What?"

"Your the Iron Dragon-Slayer," I blurt out.

"How do ya know," he ask me.

"I'm the Ice Dragon-Slayer," I tell him. "Do you know where the dragons disappeared to?"

He looks at me wide eye. He shakes his head no.

"Sorry. I don't. Though Metalicana disappeared three days ago."

"Really?! Icicle disappeared three days ago too," I say leaping off of the ground. "So we know both of our dragons disappeared the same day!"

"So Icicle is yer dragon's name," he ask me.

"Yup! And your must be Metalicana! Oh wait! I haven't introduced myself. My name is Levy McGarden," I say as we shake hands.

"Gajeel Redfox. And yer pretty warm for being the Ice Dragon-Slayer," he tells me.

"I am human. Not some creature that is cold to the touch. I just don't get cold," I tell Gajeel.

"Alright Shrimp. Ya wanna look for our dragons together," he ask me.

"Sure! And what's with the nickname," I ask him.

"Well yer tiny and cute like a shrimp," he tells me.

"Oh. Makes sense," I say. "Now let's catch some fish!!!"

I smile at Gajeel as he smiles back. That day, 7 years ago I found my first friend. Now 7 years have past and here we are in the present.

(7 year time skip)

I try and get out of Gajeel's arms as he sleeps. I wiggle, but he just pulls me back into his chest.

"Gajeel~ let me go," I whine as I try and get free again.

"No~ I'm too cozy," he mutters back as he nuzzle his nose into my neck as I feel his hot breath on my skin.

"But I need to go on a job with Juvia! I'm going to be late and it's going to be your fault," I tell him.

He grumble in annoyance as he lets me go. I give him a quick kiss on the lips and then leave the warm bed and get into jeans, a white shirt and I use a white headband with a pink flower to keep my blue hair out of me face. I feel Gajeel wrap his arms around me as I finish getting changed. I hum as he puts his head on top of mine.

"Ya be careful, alright Shrimp," he says.

"I know Gajeel. I'll be fine and come back in one piece. It's a translation job and we might have to fight bandits," I tell him.

"Wish I can come along. But José wants me here to start the attack of Fairy Tail. I'm gonna be going to Magnolia tomorrow," Gajeel tells me as I turn to look at him.

"Just be careful. I don't want to loose you either," I tell him as he grunt in reply. "And don't hurt them too much if José makes you."

"Yeah yeah. I know Shrimp," he says as he leans down and we share a kiss.

After we finish kissing, I grab my bag and leave our nice little house. I walk as I go to meet Juvia at the train station. When José found us, we lied about my magic. He and everyone, but Gajeel and Juvia, believes that I am a Solid Script Mage. I am a S-Class Mage along with the other 5. Also, only Juvia knows Gajeel and I are dating. That would be bad if everyone figures it out. Especially José. I wave at Juvia as I enter the train station.

"Hey Juvia! You ready," I ask her.

"Yes. Juvia is ready to go on the job with Levy-Chan," she tells me.

"That's great! Let's get going," I say as I smile.

Juvia smiles as we enter the train and head off for our job. I wonder how it will go and hopefully Gajeel will be safe.
