"Hey wait up," I shout running towards Lilah and Riley.

"Dont you guys want to know what happened orrr??"

"You two looked very comfortable there," Lilah jokes winking at me.

"Ye," Riley sighs seeming awfully distant with me.

Did I do something wrong??

"Are you ok," I ask concerned. "What's going on with you, you seem sad."

"Oh its whatever anyway ill catch up with you guys later bye," was the last thing Riley said before she walks away.

I turn to Lilah puzzled and confused "what did I do," I ask her really wanting an answer.

"I dont know just after dance she wasn't the same," Lilah responds frowning.

We walk to the last lesson of the day (maths) which I think is with him.

Entering the class room I see everyone standing at the back so I go to join the crowd.

"Whats going on,"I ask someone.

"I think there's a new seating plan," they respond.

Ughhhh

I groan and wait for the teacher to announce where i am to sit.

"So here we have Lucas and Mia, Jack and Thomas, Pearl and Aiden, Emily and Jayden," the teacher says in a bored tone.

WHATT??? ME AND WHO..

I turn to look at him trying to capture his expression as we both walk and take a seat next to each other.

"Um hi... again" I say shifting in my chair trying to get comfortable.

Taking a look at my surroundings, I see that on the left I have Lilah and on the other side of the room Riley sits looking very sad. The class room is filled with some math jokes and is very bright and well decorated.

Hmm pretty good.

"Hi," Aiden responds with looking at me dead into my eyes.

Umm okk...

Time passes and I get this really strange feeling in my stomach followed by a sharp pain in my lower stomach region.

Don't tell me..

"Are you ok," Aiden asks noticing how my face has scrunched up in pain.

"Ye I think im fine my stomach just really hurts." I respond with.

What day is it??

I raise my hand to ask to go to the toilet because by now the pain has become umbareable.

As I am standing up i catch a glimpse of something red on my chair, I plop back down onto the chair before anyone could realise and go bright red in the face.

My period in front of him and the whole class.

"Umm what happened I thought you were going to the toilet," he asks confused.

I just stare at him, I dont want to tell him, but then I dont want him to see it on the chair, but then how am I going to get out of the class unnoticed, I dont have a jumper or anything to cover myself with what am I going to to. In the end, although I'm so scared, I end up whispering to him what happened.

"I think I just got my period," i say staring blankly at him waiting for his face to turn into one of disgust but it doesn't it turns sympathetic.

"Do you want my jumper??" He questions me still holding his sympathetic look.

Maybe he isn't so bad??

"Yes please," I say nodding my head.

He removes his jumper and gives it to me to wrap around myself I tell him to push my chair in after I stand up not wanting anyone else to see what has happened and I rush to the toilet signaling to Riley and Lilah to follow after me.

Running out the class and to the hallway, I stand around stressing about what happened, waiting for Lilah and Riley to come out so we can walk to the toilet together.

Hearing some chairs move, I expect that its them so I start getting ready to move but its not, its Aiden and he runs my way.

"Is there anything I can do? I mean are you ok? do you have the things you need, I can go find some for you-" he rambles on.

Why is he offering to help me after I was so rude to him?

"No im fine, I'm just stressed and embarresed, did you push my chair in?"

"Yeah I did," he replies. "And dont be embarrassed no one saw and its natural anyways," he finishes staring into my eyes making me stare back at his.

He likes to stare at my eyes a lot.

We end up getting stuck in this sort of transe for a while, until the banging noises of Riley and Lilah rushing out of the classroom drag us back into reality and we move away from each other.

"Woahhh what was going on here?" Lilah interrogates us whilst Riley looks at anything else but us.

"Can we just go toilet, please, I dont want to be here anymore" I beg them.

"Yeah common let's go," Riley says eagerly.

"Thank you so much for everything, for coming to see me and for your jumper", I exclaim looking back at Aiden.

"Hurry up Pearl" Riley shouts half way down the hall.

"Ok, ok im coming thank you for everything Aiden, I love you," I say before I rush down the halls to catch up to Riley and Lilah.

Running down the halls to the toilet, I freeze.

I stood so still i could have been mistaken for being paralysed.

What did I just say.. did i just say I love you.

I glance back around to try see if he's still there but he wasnt so I had to continue on the way to the toilet.

Entering the toilet, I grab Lilah aside while Riley looks at herself in the mirror and tell her about me saying I love you to Aiden, she laughs and I hit her cause it isn't funny.

"How did you manage to say that," she gasps, unable to breathe from her laughing so much.

"I dont know it just came out, stop laughing at me and tell me what I do," I plead almost in tears.

"Well is it true," she asks and I furrow my brows puzzled.

"What-what do you mean is it true, is what true," I respond still puzzled.

"Do you love him," she asks so casually.

"No why would I love him I just met him I was just rambling and it came out," "I wasn't meant to say it and now everything's going to be so awkward," I shout getting frustrated at the situation.

I storm into a cubicle to freshen up and head back to class with Lilah and Riley, remembering to take some tissue for my chair.

Entering my lesson again, I notice everyone eyes are on me.

Do they know??

Cowering under their stares, I stroll to where I was sitting before discreetly wiping my chair and sitting down.

I wrap the dirty tissues in more toilet paper before shoving it into my pocket.

Gross I know, but what else was i supposed to do?

I turn to look at Aiden who was already staring back at me and I nearly break appart, my eyes start to get glossy and I think he notices because a concerned look spreads across his face.

"Are you ok," he asks for like the 5th time.

It is really all he can ask

I shake my head no and close my eyes trying to stop the tears that are threatening to spill from falling, planning on not crying the first day back.

Luckily for me, the bell rings and I rush out of class and to my locker wanting to go home, fed up of today.

I lug my bag over my shoulder and run out not even saying bye to Lilah or Riley.

I run out of the school gates and jog down the busy street, crowded with people. I try to weave my way in and out of them so that I can go home and rest.

Before i could make it on the road home, someone grabs my arm making me jump and turn around to see who it is.Aiden stands there looking down at me.

Ofc its Aiden

"What do you want," I ask teary eyed tired from the day I've had and just wanting to go home.

He doesn't say anything instead he brings me in for a nice, tight hug that i dont return at first but end up giving into the warmth, wrapping my arms around him.

It doesn't even take a few minutes before i start balling my eyes out. I was so tired that I didnt even register who I was with, I just cried untill no more tears came out. I moved backwards and sniffled, my eyes red and his shirt stained with my tears.

"Im sorry," I say in a whisper.

"Its OK," he responds "do you feel better," he questions rasing one eyebrow waiting patiently for my answer.

"Yes thank you," I answer him using my hands to hide my face.

"Why are you being so nice to me," I ask through sniffles, "I mean I was the one who called you all those rude things," I say sighing.

"I dont actually know. I just cant be mean to you and personally I'm not really bothered to," he responds shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh," I retort looking down at my feet.

"Can I walk you home," he says scratching his silky smooth dark brown hair.

Being too tired to argue I say yes and he walks me home, his arm wrapped around my shoulder and me leaning into him seeking his warmth.

I think this was one of my fave chapters to write but its hard to find all the right words to use.
