We all get into the Dance and are greeted by the one and only Mr Smith standing on the far end of the room with a group of people surrounding him, probably asking him questions.

Me Lilah and Riley walk to the middle of the classroom, where Miss announces that we have to choose partners for this section of dance.

Straight after she said it i frantically spin around and touch the ground unfortunately after my friends do.

^^A/N- sorry if you don't get this they basically do spin around and touch the ground to see who they work with since its a trio. Riley and lilah do it first so they work together.

"No fair," I whine out."

"Not my fault your so slow," Lilah says laughing. I frown and look around for another person to be my partner.

Me being to scared to go up to someone, I decide to wait it out and see if there's anyone left over in the hopes of there being no one and able to join Lilah and Riley to make a three. But to my suprise, out of anyone in the whole class, it was him, Mr Smith, glaring at me from across the room.

Whyyyyy

"Well you two seem to be the last pair join up together so we can get started," Miss exclaims turning back around to the computer to project what we are doing on the screen in front.

We just stare at each other, well I stare he looks to be glaring.

Knowing that I cannot stand here forever, I walk up to him slowly.

"Hii," I say while scratching my head in nervousness, I turn back around to see a very concerned look on Riley face and Lilah talking to another classmate.

God please help me, let him not be mad.

"So today we are practicing our slow dancing some of you might already know how to, but prom is around the corner and I want everyone's dancing to be perfect,"the teacher says with a smile plastered on her face.

However, I go bright red in the face and Mr Smith seems to be shocked too as his eyes widen.

I turn around to face my friends and their both bursting out in laughter unable to catch their breath.

"I- can't I cant," They stutter out.

"Since some people seem to find this funny," Lilah and Riley stop laughing immediately but I can see in their eyes they want to, "the slow dance will be mandatory and if you don't do it you will receive a 2 hour detention how do you like that," Miss says with a slight smirk.

I really hope she's proud of herself, like actually, I hope she sleeps well tonight.

Slow, quiet music blasts through the speakers and everyone dashes to embrace there partner in a very up close intimate position (hands on shoulders and swaying to the music). I just stand there shocked, suprised and flustered until he moves towards me and embraces me in the same position as everyone else, hands on my shoulders and moving to the music.

"come on," "let's get this over with," he says with a smirk on his face.

Does he find this funny!??

Mirroring what he is doing, i place my hands to his shoulders however, he's too tall so I end up moving quite low to his higher chest and I sway to the music. As I'm doing it I examine his face.

He has a very nice facial structure, a beautiful jawline and just the most amazing captivating eyes. They were these adorable brown eyes that were just so beautiful I couldnt stop staring.

"Admiring me are you,"he says breaking me out of the trance I was in and getting a slight blush from me that I hide by turning away. He chuckles and keeps moving to the music.

"Oh and by the way Im sorry for pushing past you I was just in a bad mood" he says looking around.

Oh he apologised.

oh..??

"Its fine and by the way what is your name," I question him furrowing my eyebrows.

He stares right into my soul making me feel slightly self conscious.

Shifting under his stare, I think he gets the hint I was uncomfortable and continues with "Aiden.. Aiden Smith or 'ice boy' as people have been calling me," " Your Pearl right?"

"Ye Pearl Daniels," I responded "nice to meet you... properly," I added emphasising the properly.

"Ye you too," he says as the music ends and everyone lets go of their partners.

"Well all of you seem to have done quite well, there should be no complications for prom." "You will all be dismissed when the bell rings" Miss says in a happy voice.

Your lucky that ended well and thank you God for helping me.

The bell rings and I run to Lilah and Riley to fill them in on everything that happened but not before giving a quick glance back and waving goodbye at him, Aiden Smith...
