Iris's POV

I found the one person who could end all of the towns misery. Klaus will pay for all the people that he's killed. I WILL make him pay by killing Hailee right in front of him. Even though he will ty and ill me, he will die before he can even get close to me.

"Are we ready to leave"  said......

Hailee's POV

"Oh no what am I gonna do" Paris said emotionally.

"Your problem"

"Help me"

"Your on your own"

"What no, help me Hailee"

"Nope"

I shook my head and put my hands up. She rolled her eyes and walked upstairs. I heard a loud bang and I sped upstairs, turns out it was just Klaus being frustrated. I had to ask,

"What's wrong this time Klaus"

"Nothing"

"You don't break mothers diamond necklace for nothing"

"She's alive"

"What who"

"Mother"

"What"

"Yes and she has come to undo the wrong she created"

"What's that supposed to mean"

"She's come to kill us"

 Tears streamed from my eyes. I couldn't believe our own mother had come back to kill her only children left. She used to love us and care, no she is filled with hatred and vengeance.  What had father done to her. I lost my family and it wasn't whole anymore. I walked out of the room and before Klaus could say something, I slammed the door in his face, and he didn't even try to break down the door. I took out my old journal from 1432 and looked through it, it had all the pictures of me and my family. But they were dead. I glanced at the back of a picture, it had my father.... he was holding something. A white oak steak! How. We burned all of them, how is there on more left. There was a knock at the door, I got up and answered it. But it wasn't Klaus, it was my......mother. I gasped and she glanced me a smile. I blinked away my tears and tried to close the door on her. It worked, but then it slammed open. I forget that she's a witch. WHY?

"Mother what do you want from me"

"I want to make you pay"

"I didn't even hurt you"

"I know, but when I made you a vampire 3,000 years ago, I turned you into monsters"

"GET OUT"

"HAILEE YOUR A MONSTER"

"I'M NOT A MONSTER, YOU ARE"

"Now you will die in front of your brother Nicklaus"

"NO, you leave Nic out of this"

"I can't, he's collateral damage and I want to see him suffer"

"You can't kill him"

"I won't I'll just kill you"

"No, just leave him out of this"

She smiled again and flicked her wrist. My eyes got heavy and I blacked out.....

I woke up in this cell and right across from me was Nic. I got up but fell back down when my arm started to sting. I looked at my neck and my daylight necklace was gone. It was basically a necklace that protected me from the sun. If we come in contact with the sun we explode, then come back since we cant be killed. I know crazy right. We can only be killed by the steak, whatever. I sighed and said,

"Nic, wake up you bastard, NIC"

"What the..."

"Klaus are you ok"

"How did I get here"

"Mother"

"Hailee what the hell is gong on"

"She's going to kill me"

"No, I'll kill her first"

"These cells are made from vervain which as you now weakens vampires"

"It's a good thing were not full vampire then"

He smiled and broke open the cell door then headed for mine. I started to get scared and back away. But he just ripped the the door off its hinges and I sped out and hugged him. He held my hand as he killed all of guards. I smiled as each one fell to their deaths. That's my brother! We walked until we came in contact with the one person who wanted to doom us both, our mother.She flicked her wrist and we both fell to the floor. When I awoke I was in a different cell. I grabbed the handles to the door and tried to rip the door off its hinges. Nothing was working, it was like I wasn't a hybrid anymore.  My eyes turned gold as I smelled the beautiful scent of blood. I looked outside my cell as Iris who was bleeding from her stomach was thrown into a cell. I grabbed the guard and slammed his head into the door. I grabbed the keys just before the guard fell to the floor. I unlocked my door and Iris's. She mumbled weird words and then fell back to sleep. My mother must have put her under a spell. The door started to open and.....

I'm sorry that I haven't been updating my story lately. I have been SUPER busy over the weekends and testing has been kicking up at my school. I will try to have 2 more chapters updated by next week. But for now enjoy this chapter....
