Takes place on season 2 episode 21

Mystic falls, Virginia. A small little town, filled with small little people - Metaphorically speaking-. Out of all the places in this world, it had to be here. But of course it made sense. It was the home of the doppelganger after all, so its not really a surprise that he would show up here. I had heard through the vampire grape vine that he was trying to remove the curse his mother had put on him, and to do that he needed five thing; a witch, a werewolf, a newly turned vampire, a stone and lastly the doppelganger.

Elena Gilbert a brown hair doe eyed girl who has gotten her self mixed up with the Salvatore brothers -Stefan and Damon- a witch and not to mention Katherine Peirce who is pretty much her -Elena's- twin. You see Katherine is the descendant of the girl that Easter had to kill in order to put the curse on him, and when she found out the Klaus was going to kill her she tricked another vampire into turning her; ruling her out for the sacrifice but now that Elena has been found he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

I've been here -in Mystic Falls- for about a week now quietly watching waiting for the right time to present myself. Right now I'm sitting at a bar in a little place called 'The Mystic Grill' waiting for one of the bar workers to show up, I had compelled her to spy on everyone and report back to me everyday. Spinning my straw around in my glass I sighed and slumped back into my chair, she was an hour late and I was growing impatient. Pulling my phone out of my pocket I dialed her number after four rings it goes to voice mail.

"Skylar darling I'm been sitting here waiting for an hour now, so if you don't show in the next minute I'm going to hunt you down and decapitate you do you under- oh never mind you just walked in." smiling I hung up the phone and watched as she walked my way.

"Sorry I'm late," standing up I gave her a light hug " I had to baby sit my little si-"

"Skylar sweet I don't care what your reason for being late is but what I do want to know is what everyone is up too."

"Right OK, so I heard yesterday that the sacrifice is going to happen tonight on the full moon, but there might be some complications."

"Like?" raising my eyebrow I encouraged her to continue.

"Well, Damon for one has given Elana his blood, and he also took the werewolf and vampire he needed.

Scuffing I rolled my eyes " Klaus has been trying to break this cure for a hundred years or more, there's now way that he wouldn't come prepared he will have had a back up of each." furrowing my brows I went back to string my drink and tapping the fingers on my other hand on the bar. I didn't know how Elana having vampire blood in her system would affect everything but a part of me knew it wouldn't be good like maybe it wouldn't work. "What else?"

"Besides the fact that Damon got bit by Tyler Lockwood that's all I've got."

Licking lips I drowned the rest of my drink and stood up "You did good Skylar now," putting both my hands on her face I made sure she looked me in the eyes " I want you to forget everything you did for me all the snooping and the reporting back to forget that super naturals walk among you and most of all I want you to forget my face you don't now me and you never met me, but. If you see my name appear on you phone I want you to meet me in the alleyway behind this place, got it?" nodding her head I released my grip on her face "Good Girl." I picked my jacket on and walked out the door.

Hours later I was standing out side this old house where witches used to be burned, standing out side was Stefan waiting as Elijah approaches him

"Bonnie did the locator spell. They're at Steven's Quarry." Elijah says

"I'll head over there first and you'll follow with Bonnie when it's time." Stefan tells him.

"Just as the moon hits its final phase. She's to stay hidden until then. He cannot know that she's alive," Stefan nods and begins to walk away "You're very honorable." Elijah calls to him.

Stopping Stefan turns back around looks at Elijah and walks back towards him. "Are you?" he asks "Because this whole plan is, um, it's contingent upon your honor, Elijah."

"I won't fail you." Elijah says. Furring my brows I stared at him. This wasn't the Elijah I knew, the other one would of done anything to protect his family and now he's offering to kill Klaus.

"Klaus is your brother. I know I've wanted to kill my brother a thousand times. I've never been able to."

"Well, Klaus was not my only brother. I had siblings; parents a friend even. I had a family. Over the centuries, Klaus hunted them down one by one and he took them from me. He scattered them across the seas where their bodies could not be found." closing my eyes I tried getting the images I was there when he first starting daggering everyone it was the main reason why I left him, I was afraid that if I had done something wrong or said the wrong thing that I might of been next. It had broken my heart to leave I'm, after all I had loved him more than anything in this world but I could risk being stuffed in a box until he saw fit to remove it.

"You want revenge?" Stefan asked.

"Sometimes there's honor in revenge, Stefan. I won't fail you."

"Please end this." he asked/pleaded as he begins to walk away again. As quietly as I could I left my spot behind a thick tree and ran to this quarry rock place. I had to warn Klaus no matter the things he did I will always love him just like I know he will always love me so I had to warn him.

Stefan had made it there just a few minutes before me, as he stood on a cliff that over looked where everything was going down talking to Klaus himself.

"Oh, I don't know," Klaus taunted "I rather appreciate the symmetry of three women," Klaus starts to walk around Stefan "Three goddesses Sacrificed at nature's altar."

Stefan whipped around to face Klaus "Don't play games with me. You'll get what you want either way."

"You're quite the hero, aren't you? I've heard that about you." hero more like an idiot.

"Just make the trade. Me for Jenna." he bargained. Klaus smirked and motioned his head as saying follow me befor vamp speeding back to the cliff, once Stefan followed him I took their spot but making sure to crouch down behind the small bushes that where there.

"Quite the predicament," Klaus starts pointing his hand at Stefan "You know, it's funny, all this talk about preserving family, and here's Stefan, granting your wish."

"Stefan..." Elana sadly says

"It's okay." he tells her looking at her

"Well," Klaus points a stake between Jenna and Stefan "Who's it going to be, Elena?"

"No." she demands refusing to choose who gets to live or die.

"Oh, don't worry. There's actually no choice." Klaus vamp speeds around Stefan and stakes him in the back. Grunting in pain Stefan crumbles to the ground.

"No! Stefan! No!" you could tell that Elana wanted to get out of the fire circling around her but for some reason she didn't try.

Klaus ripped the stake out of Stefan's back, leaving a sizable chunk of wood in his back "I have other plans for your boyfriend. I want him alive. But for now..." he snapped Stefan's neck causing him to fall, disgracefully, to the ground as Elena gasps in shock. "Whenever you're ready, Greta."

Greta whom I'm just now noticing begins chanting the next part of the spell which dispels the ring of fire surrounding Jenna, so that's why she didn't try to get out of the fire it was spelled to keep them in. Jenna looks on, frightened. Elena all teary-eyed, watches on.

"No." Elena whisperers

"Your turn."

"No, Jenna, no!" Elena attempts to get to Jenna, but the fire around her flares up. Jenna looks over at her.

"It's alright, Elena. I know what I have to do." Elena had tears running down her face as she and Jenna share a moment of silence, Jenna vamp speeds to Greta and ferociously bites her neck. Greta screamed out in pain, Klaus vamp speeds over to Jenna and stakes her in the back, pulling her off of Greta, who has fallen to the floor. Jenna gasps and Klaus releases her, Jenna falls to the ground. Elena starts to cry.

"Jenna, no!" Elena cries out. Watching all this made me feel sorry for Elena as it wasn't her fault that she was born the doppelganger or he life was destined to be horrible.

Jenna looks up at Elena in pain with tears in her eyes.

"Just turn it off," Elena Whispers to her "Jenna. Turn it off. You won't be scared anymore."

Even from where I am and thanks to vamp sight I could tell Jenna did flipped her switch. Klaus flips Jenna over onto her back and hunches over her. Jenna seems less frightened when Klaus stakes her in the heart.

"No! Jenna! No! Jenna!" screams crying more.

Jenna's body starts to become grey and decayed. Klaus releases the stake from his grasp and stands up. Jenna lays lifeless on the stone with the stake through her heart. Greta begins chanting the next part of the spell. Klaus is by her side. Noticing movement on the ground I looked over to see Stefan waking up, he tries to reach behind his back trying to get the piece of wood that snapped off out but isnt able to reach it. Stefan looks up at Elena and sees her tear streaked cheeks. He looks over towards Greta and sees Jenna's dead body with the stake in her chest.

"No." Stefan barley whispers. Greta pours Jenna's blood into the ceremonial bowl "I'm so sorry."

Elena places her finger to her lips and shushes Stefan "Are they going to kill him?" she too whispers so quietly it was hard to hear.

"Yes."

"It's time." Klaus approaches Elena.

The circle of fire disappears from around her. Elena looks up at him as Klaus extends his hand towards her. Ignoring his hand Elena gets up from the ground and walks past Klaus. She makes her way to the altar and looks down at Jenna's body. Klaus follows her up to the altar and grabs Elena's face in his hand. Below them, Stefan struggles to get up from the ground. Klaus turns Elena's face so she is looking at him. "Thank you, Elena."

"Go to hell." she tells him.

Stefan continues to struggle up, but falls back to the ground, too weak to move. Elena stares out, blankly, as Klaus sinks his fangs into her neck and starts to drain Elena of her blood. Stefan watches on, helplessly. Klaus holds Elena tightly as his eyes starts to sprout more veins. Elena's eyelids flutter and her eyes roll into the back of her head and she dies. Klaus releases her and Elena falls to the ground. Blood drips from Klaus' mouth and the flame in the bowl is extinguished.

Elena's body lays lifeless and Stefan stares at her, sadly, and lowers his head to the ground. Klaus breathes heavily and walks down the stone steps. "I can feel it. It's happening." Klaus looks up at the full moon. Suddenly, his bones begin to crack and he starts to transform. His eyes are yellow like a werewolf's, but he still has the veins under them, like a vampire. This is it moving from my spot the wind starts to blow as another witch comes into view I recognize her as Bonnie the best friend of Elena but she's supposed to be dead. I speed down to them as Klaus is suddenly thrown through the air. The flames in the bowl reignite, startling Greta. Greta hears and sees Bonnie coming down the hillside, chanting a spell. Before Greta can react, Damon sneaks up behind her and snaps her neck. Damon kneels down and picks up Elena's body.

"No! You were dead!" Klaus says in disbelief

Bonnie continues to chant her spell. Klaus' body contorts into painful shapes as he screams. Her spell which is so powerful it causes trees to fall. Klaus screams in more pain, lying against the rocks. Elijah approaches him and Bonnie stops chanting.

"Elijah?" Klaus question. This is my moment but I couldn't move I couldn't speak my heart was pounding in my chest as I watch the two brother.

"Hello, brother." Elijah punches his arm into Klaus' chest, grabbing a hold of his heart. "In the name of our family, Niklaus..." Elijah twists Klaus's heart.

"NO!" I scream finally finding my voice at the same time Klaus started talking.

"I didn't bury them at sea!" using my vamp speed I moved to Klaus standing a little behind his head that lays on a rock.

"What?" Elijah asks looking between me and Nik, who I don't even realizes that I'm here.

"Their bodies are safe. If you kill me, you'll never find them."

"Elijah please don't do it, I beg of you he's your brother. Elijah!" hearing my voice Klaus tilts his head as best as he could and looked at me.

"Emily?" he whispered

"Elijah! Don't listen to them." he begs shaking his head

"Elijah. I can take you to them. I give you my word...brother."

"Elijah, Elijah please just, just let go of his heart if you kill him you'll regret it for as long as you live I know you." I calmly tried reasoning with him.

Looking between all of us he seemed to be having second thoughts.

"Do it and I'll take you both out." Bonnie says confidently

"Do it and you die." I snapped at her

"I don't care."

Elijah looks down at Klaus than to me and back up at Bonnie and Stefan. "I'm sorry."

"No!" both Stefan and Bonnie yell running towards Elijah and Klaus, but before either can get to them, Elijah flies off with Klaus. I took a deep breath as I didn't realize that I had stopped breathing in the few seconds that Elijah was contemplating if he should kill him or not. With on look towards Bonnie and Stefan I too took of running.

I didn't know where I was going to I had no way of contacting Elijah or Klaus for that matter but it was fine for now. I knew that Klaus was safe and that was all that matter for know. I decided to go back to the house I had compelled the owners to go on vacation after they let me in side, and took a nice hot shower hopping that I'll be able to find Nik and Elijah.
