You were just beginning to regain consciousness and the first thing you saw was a bright light on the ceiling blinding your eyes, you could hear 2 faint voices in the background, one of them you were certain was recovery girl, the other you didn't recognize.

???: Recovery girl! He's waking up! Can I see him now?

Recovery Girl: Fine Fine, But he's very tired so I only expect for you to speak with him.

You could hear a pair of footsteps slowly get closer towards you, you slowly looked to the side to see a girl with orange hair that was tied into a long ponytail, she had teal eyes that shined and looked right at you.

Y/N: K-Ken...do?

She giggled with a warm smile before speaking again

Kendo: Yep, it's me. Are you feeling okay? Does anything hurt?

Y/N: Heh, Nope...just really...really tired...

You then sat up and eventually got out of bed before stretching.

Y/N: I'm gonna go to my room...

Kendo: Actually...I had something else in mind if you're up for it...

Y/N: What is it?

Kendo looked away and played with her fingers behind her back for a bit before speaking up.

Kendo: I was wondering if we could hang out tonight, you've been through so much, I just want to make you feel happy in this place...

Y/N: ...Fine...what time...?

Kendo was a little surprised that you actually said yes, but she kept talking

Kendo: Is 6:00 Okay?

Y/N: Sure, I'm free then...

She nodded with a smile before walking past you with her hands behind her back.

Kendo: Okay, see you then!

With that she skipped away with a smile full of happiness, you don't really know what you were getting yourself into but you didn't really care, you just wanted to sleep

Time Skip

After getting a little more rest, you got up and began to get dressed, for once you were wearing more casual clothes than what you usually wear, consisting of a black hoodie along with jeans but it felt uncomfortable

Y/N: Dammit, This better be worth it...

That said, you left your room and headed out, on your way to the exit you ran into Nezu

Nezu: Ah! Mr.L/N, You're awake!

Y/N: I am, so what?

Nezu: I'm just glad to see you're okay, also, you're wearing something other than your usual outfit, what's the occasion?

Y/N: I'm going to hang out with Kendo...

With that you walked past Nezu and headed for the door that's when Nezu spoke under his breath

You got outside and saw Kendo waiting for you by the gate, you went walked over to her and she soon noticed you

Kendo: L/N! You actually came!

You saw that she was also wearing something more casual than usual, that made you relieved

Y/N: So, Where are we heading?

Kendo: I thought that We'd go to the park and go for a simple stroll, sound good?

Y/N: Well...better than shopping...

With that the two of you headed out to find a park, of course that meant that you had to walk in public which wasn't your thing since everyone else still saw you as a criminal

As the two of you walked through musutafu, you began to hear murmurs around you

Person: Hey, It's that Y/N guy...

Person 2: He's probably going to kill that girl he's with...

Person 3: Of course he would, he's a monster!

The words that you were hearing made you feel a little bad, and angry at the same time

Kendo: Don't listen to them L/N, it's okay...

You took a deep breath and walked off with Kendo, eventually you reached the park and looked to see that it was completely void of any people

Kendo: Well, Let's go!

She grabbed your hand and pulled you into the path of the park, the two of you went to walk around as the reflections of the bright buildings coming from the water made for some nice lighting

Y/N: Kendo...

Kendo: Hm?

Y/N: Do you think I'm a monster...?

Kendo: What?! Of course not! Why would you-

Y/N: It's because of what everyone's been saying...I've killed in the past...and now I'm in a hero school but...do I really deserve it...?

Kendo: Of course you do! Everyone does! You stopped Killing didn't you?

Y/N: Well...Yeah But—

You felt a tear to down your cheek but you tried to quickly wiped it away before Kendo could see you, but it was too late

With that she pulled you into a big warm hug, it felt nice, for once in a long time you felt at ease

Kendo: Just looking at you shows that anyone can change if they can find it in them

you eventually pulled away and saw an ice cream stop about to close, you walked over and went to get some for her

As you were getting the ice cream, Another guy who seemed to be a little older than you approached Kendo

Guy: Hey there sweetie, You lost?

Kendo: Uh...No...

Guy: Well I can offer a place to stay if you'd like, I think your pretty attractive!

Kendo: I'm flattered but, I'm seeing someone right now...

Guy: Oh C'mon! I can offer a lot more than a place to lay your head if you know what I mean~

Kendo: And that's my cue to leave—

Suddenly the guy grabbed her by her arm and began to drag her away as she yelled

Kendo: Hey!! Let me go!!

Guy: And just Who is this person your seeing?

Kendo then turned around and pointed your direction to see you walking towards them with a pissed expression on your face

Y/N: She's with me pal! So Back off!!

Your intimating looks alone were enough to make the guy almost crap his pants, he instantly let go of Kendo and ran away

Y/N: Asshole...sorry about that Kendo—

You were interrupted when she jumped into your arms and nuzzled into your shoulder

Kendo: Thanks!

Y/N: Whatever, Here, Take it Before it melts...

You handed her an ice cream cone as you put her down, she began to eat it as a pink blush tinted her face

Kendo: Y-You didn't have to do all of this for me L/N...

Y/N: Just be grateful I got you something...

Kendo went side eyed before giving you a bright smile

Kendo: Sure thing!

With that the two of you continued to walk around as she happily ate her ice cream, eventually you both decided it was time to go home

Kendo: Shoot! I'm gonna be late for curfew!!

She began to panic as you swept her off of her feet and carried her bridal style before flying off

Kendo: Ahh!! L/N?! What are you doing?!

Y/N: ...

She soon realized what you were up to and she looked around for her house, eventually she spotted it and pointed down

Kendo: That one!

With that you slowly flew down to her house and landed in front of her door before putting her down gently

Kendo: Thanks for flying me home L/N...

Y/N: No...Thank you...

With that she went wide eyed and blushed a little before pulling herself together, you began to walk off but before you could get far she called out to you

Kendo: L/N Wait!

You turned around and looked at her

Y/N: Now What?

Kendo: C-Close your eyes, I have a gift for you!

You sighed and closed your eyes, as they were closed you could hear a pair of footsteps get closer to you, they eventually stopped when you felt a soft pair of lips on your cheek that felt like clouds

You blushed deeply as she pulled away and smiled brightly also with a red blush

Kendo: As a thanks for today and for helping me, I had fun!

Y/N: Y-Yeah Whatever! Just get inside!

With that you took off mumbling to yourself in embarrassment as Kendo giggled

Kendo: What a gentle giant...
