Peter's POV:

"What were you thinking!?" Mr. Stark grilled me.

"The guys with the wings is obviously the source of the weapons, we gotta take him down." I defended.

"'Take him down' now huh?" Mr. Stark mocked me. "Crockett, there are people who handle this sort of thing."

"The Avengers?" I asked.

"No, no, no. Just a little below there pay grade." Mr. Stark stated.

"Anyway, Mr. Stark, you didn't have to come out here. Hunter and I had that. I was fine." I assured him.

"Oh, I'm not here." His piece of armour covering his face flipping up to show he wasn't in there. "Thank God this place has WiFi or you would be toast right now. Look forget the flying Vulture guy please."

"Why?" I argued.

"Why? Because I said so." Mr. Stark raised his voice a bit. "Stay close to the ground. Build up your game helping the little people. Like that lady that bought you the churro. Can't you just be a friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man?"

"But I'm ready for more than that now."

"No you're not."

"That's not what you thought when I took on Captain America." I argued.

"Trust me kid. If Cap wanted to lay you out, he would've." I huffed at Mr. Stark. "Listen to me. If you come across these weapons again, call Happy or you know what, just let Hunter take care of it."

"Mr. Stark, I can help y/n." I argued again.

"Look. Y/n is way more advanced than you. She hasn't got anything to lose. Cap had to go full out of her and he didn't even bet her. She can handle these sort of things."

"Mr. Stark. Y/n and I work together-" He cut me off.

"That's another thing. You need to stay off y/n." Mr. Stark's voice was firm. "I don't want y/n getting you as a boyfriend. Ok?" My face flushed.

"W-what! N-no. Mr. Stark! Y/n and I are not-" He cut me off again.

"I know that you like her. It's not happening. You are a good kid. But y/n's of limits." I huffed. I know that y/n would never even like me. But... I still really liked her a lot.

"Anyway now that, that's all gone through... There was the sound on an engine.

"Are you driving?" I asked.

"You know, it's never too early to start thinking about college. I got some put at MIT. End call."

"Mr. Stark I don't need to go to col-" F.R.I.D.A.Y. cut me off.

"Mr. Stark is no longer connected." The suit flew off.

"That was awesome." I huffed. I then noticed y/n. Walking towards me. I was so happy that she was alright. I ran up to her and hugged her. But what Mr. Stark said was still in the back of my mind...

Your POV

- - - - - - - -

You walked into school with Peter beside you.

"Ok. So we all have tech first up right?" Peter asked you.

"Yup." You replied. Then the bell went.

"Ok let's go then." Peter held out his arm for you to link.

You two walked down the hall into the tech classroom where you set up on a benchtop with all of the stuff you would need.

You got your advanced laptop out and started searching your father records on anything related to the glowy thingy. Peter started hitting the containment with a hammer.

"Hey, Thanks for bailing on me last night." Ned came up to you two, he was still clearly upset.

"We're so sorry Ned." You said sympathetically.

"Yeah well something came up." Peter gestured to the glowy thingy.

"What is that?" Ned asked awed at the glowy thingy. That is getting old we need to call it something other than 'glowy thingy'.

"I don't know. Some guy tried to vaporise us with it." Peter shrugged.

"Seriously? Wait what do you mean 'us'." Ned questioned. Peter froze.

"Yeah... uh Hunter and I."

"Hunter showed up?" Peter nodded his head. "And a guy tried to vaporise you two with it?" Peter nodded again. "Awesome." Peter looked at Ned with an expression that said 'what do you mean 'awesome' I almost died'. ((If there is a look for that)). "I mean, not awesome. Totally uncool of that guy. So scary..." Ned rambled on. You just rolled your eyes.

"Well, look, we think it's a power source of some kind." You informed Ned.

"Well yeah. That's an inductive changing plate. That's what I used to charge my toothbrush." Ned pointed to metal connection to the glowy thingy.

"So obviously, whoever's doing this is combining alien tech with ours." Peter concluded. He was mainly talking to you, because you knew what he was talking about.

"That is literally the coolest thing, anyone has ever said." Ned awed. "I just want to thank you. For letting me be apart of your journey. Into this amazing-" Ned cut himself off by shielding his face with his hands when Peter hit the mechanism and it bounced off the table.

You all realised what a large noise it had made and turned to look at the teacher, preparing yourselves to come up with an explanation.

"Keep your fingers, clear of the blades." Is all your teacher said. Not ever looking up at you. Lol.

Peter picked the glowy thingy up and turned it around in his hand as the container around it had fallen off.

"I've seen that somewhere..." You stared at the purple lighting source. "But, where..."

"It doesn't matter yet. Don't worry. We'll figure out where it came from later." Peter assured you. "For now we just need to figure out what it does..."

"Right." Ned concluded. Then the bell rang. You, Peter and Ned stayed behind after class to analyse the glowy thingy.

Everyone else had left including the teacher who just told you to turn off the lights when you were done.

After you finished the three of you walked down the halls.

"I wander where the glowy thingy came from..." Ned wandered as you three walked.

"Yeah. But first we need to come up with a better name then 'glowy thingy'." You laughed. Then your sixth sense went off. Peter's did too.

"Crap!" You both whisper yelled as the two of you jumped to the side and hid behind a wall.

"Come on. Come on. Come on." Peter quickly whispered for Ned to hide too.

"What's wrong?" Ned was so confused at you in particular because you had flipped to the side like Peter. Which was normal for Peter but then you realised that Ned still didn't know you were Hunter... oops.

Peter didn't notice Ned looking at you weirdly. He was too busy watching the two men.

"Those are the guys who tried to kill Hunter and I. They dropped me in the lake..." Peter informed Ned on the why the three of you were trying to hide.

"Someone dropped you in a lake?" Ned sounded shocked.

"Yeah it was not good... Y/n." Peter gestured for you to follow him.

"Right. Got it." You replied moving closer.

"Wait. Why is y/n coming with you!" Ned whisper yelled. "Aren't those guys dangerous!? Y/n can't do anything!"

"Ned I will explain everything later ok? But now is not the time." You ran off with Peter leaving Ned confused as flip.

You faintly heard Ned huff. "I am so the third wheel in this relationship."

You and Peter jumped into the tech room. You two hid behind the desks. The two men walked past you two and as they were about to walk out, Peter shot a tiny spider out of his web shooter and it crawled up the guys leg. He didn't notice.

"Thank the lord they're gone." You huffed as you used your vision to check that they were gone. "Ok they're out of the school perimeter." You confirmed.

"Ok. Let's go to my place. That little spider was a tracker. We can see where they go." Peter told you.

"Ok. Cool." You responded. You walked out and met Ned.

"Ok y/n. Explanation. Now. How the hell did you flip over me and Peter! Just before out of nowhere and land on your feet perfectly!?" Ned was slightly fanboying.

You sighed. "I will explain everything at Peter's house ok? Just. Not here. Also. Please don't freak out..." Ned just gave you a confused look.

- - - - - - - -

Time skip brought to you by a hell of a lot of questions Ned's gonna bombard you with... bring on.

- - - - - - - -

"F**K WHAT!?!?!?!" Ned screamed after you had explained everything at Peter's house.

"LANGUAGE!" You yelled at him.

"YOU ARE THE HUNTER!?" Ned was still yet to calm down.

"Yes. Ned just shh..." Peter was trying to calm Ned down.

"Holy crap this is the best thing that has ever happened to me!" Ned was fanboying massively. "My two best friends are superheroes! Holy crap! Wait! Y/n! Is the Huntsmen a thing!?"

"The what?" Now you were confused.

"The Huntsmen. You know the ship name everyone is giving Spider-man/Peter and Hunter/YOU!"

"WHAT! Hell to the no! N. O. No. No nonononnonononononononononono. No. NO!" You turned a light shade of silver. Peter went a little pink too. "Look Ned. Focus."

"I can't! I have so many questions!" Ned was so excited.

"Ned. No. No questions. None." You did not want to answer his abundance of questions.

"Did you get bitten by a radioactive spider too!? How do you shoot the bow things? Wait! Why do you have blue eyes as Hunter? How long have you been Hunter? Where do you keep your suit? Do you have an internship with Tony Stark too? Are you good at archery in real life? How-" You had cut Ned off by covering his mouth with your hand. You glared at him signaling him to shut up. You huffed before replying at lightning speed.

"1. No. 2. My blood is vibranium. 3. It just happens. 4. 3 years. 5. Internally. 6. No. 7. Yes." You took a deep breath in. "Ok. I have a lot more explaining to do. I will do that later. But are you done with the questions yet?" You were getting a little annoyed.

"Do you lay eggs?" Ned just had to ask that. Ok. So that was an awkward question to ask a girl. "So you do?"

"Ned. Just. Don't." Peter shushed his friend. He understood what you were meaning so he went a little pinkish. You smiled at his awkwardly in thanks.

"Do you-?" Ned was about to ask another question but you got duct tape off Peter's desk and put it over his mouth.

"Ok. Now that, that's taken care of... Peter let's see where those guys are." You acted like nothing had just happened.

"Ok..." A hologram appeared out of Peter web shooters. There was a little red dot. "So. That red dot is them."

"Ok..." For the first 20 minutes you just sat on Peter's bad watching the red dot move. Ned eventually got sick of the duct tape on his mouth and tried to pull it off.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Ned pulled it off half way. "OW!" He pulled off the rest. His mouth area was red. "That hurt..."

"Next time you'll think twice before pissing me off with questions." You gave him a look that said 'I will do it again buddy'. He nodded frantically. He was clearly more scared of you than before now that he knew you were Hunter.

"Y/n? Can I ask you one more question? Please?" Ned sounded a little reluctant. This had better not be some stupid question.

"Fine. Nothing stupid though."

"How did you become Hunter?" Peter looked at you. He had been wandering the same thing. You never really told him everything. It always seemed like a touchy topic so he never pushed.

You sighed before looking from Ned to Peter. "Ok... But... it is not really the happiest story you'll hear..."

"It's ok." Peter sat next to you. They were both looking at you waiting for you to continue. You never felt so... small...

"Umm... Back in Australia... I was known as y/n l/n. National archery champion. I went to school like a normal person. For like 8 months or something I had been working on this wristband and ear piece that connected to each other wirelessly and when you pressed a button on the earpiece, the wristband would turn into a flip out bow with internally supplied arrows..."

"Dude! Cool!" Ned was impressed. "What was your iq? How old were you?"

"Ned. Shut up and listen." Peter looked at his friend and then back to you.

"To answer your questions my iq at the time was I think 160. I was around 12. Almost 13." You were happy there was a side note to turn off the story.

"Anyway..." Peter eyed Ned furrowing his eyebrows a little. "You were saying." You breathed in and out before continuing.

"So one day I finally finished it. I had an enhanced sight connected to the earpiece. So I was testing it. It worked amazingly... until that is I accidentally shot an arrow that was broken. So when I released the arrow, it snapped in half and went into my arm." Ned's face was shocked and he mouthed 'ow'. Peter's eyes were wide at this too. "Since it was all electric, it triggered some kind of circuit overload. The last thing I could remember was immense heat and pain. It lasted 2 seconds though because I passed out. I woke up 5 hours later. My wristband and earpiece had totally disappeared..."

"Wait what?" Ned was so confused. "Didn't you have like scars and stuff from the arrow?"

"No. Nothing. Since my parents were out of town no one else knew what happened. I went in my room and found out my friend got bullied. I was really annoyed so I took some of my anger out on a pillow. After like 10 minutes of punching my knuckles were a little sore. I cracked them and..." You cracked your knuckles and transformed into the Hunter. Peter had seen it before so he was just looking at you. Ned how ever had fallen out of his chair at the flash and was now on the floor gaping at you. "...This happened. So that was weird..."

"So your parents were still out of town in all this?" Ned asked. "Wow. Your parents really paid attention to your life did they?" He said sarcastically. This made a tear rolled down your check. Ned didn't notice that it was silver because he was looking out the window. Peter wiped it off with his thumb.

"It's ok. You don't have to continue." Peter comforted you. You shook your head.

"No. It's ok. I barely ever talk to anyone about all of this." You smiled sadly. "Anyway... the next morning, I woke up and my parents came home. That night we had a family reunion. My whole family came over. Mind you, that was like a total of like 10 people... We ate dinner... th-then I got a headache... m-my v-vision went blue a-and I saw a bright flash... 3 seconds later..." You burst into tears. Peter wrapped his arms around you and cooed.

"Hey... hey... It's ok... everything's ok..." You were still crying.

"A-a b-bomb had gone off. Everything went b-black. When I woke up... E-everything. Everything was gone... I looked down at my body and it was all silver. I looked like some kind of r-robot. But, then the silver metal sunk back into my skin revealing my normal skin and clothes unburnt... and completely unharmed..." You burst into another fit of tears. Peter hugged you tighter comforting you. "Then I saw in the distance was Iron man-"

"IRON-MAN! THE IRON-MAN WAS AT YOUR HOUSE!?" Ned was freaking out.

"Ned! Shut the hell up and just listen." Peter snapped at Ned still holding you.

"Right. Sorry..." Ned looked at his hands.

"Anyway, he came over to me and he was going to take me back to his lab to make sure that I was actually ok still... when he put his armoured hand on my shoulder... it melted. J.A.R.V.I.S. Said something about my body heat being like 800 degrees or something..."

"How is that even possible?" Peter asked you still with a tone that was calming.

"The bomb. The vibranium of my bloodstream absorb the heat of the bomb." Peter nodded in understanding. "Tony used a cooling system that allowed him to pick me up and take me to the lab... around 2 years later he adopted me-"

"F**K WHAT!? IRON-MAN ADOPTED YOU!?!?!" Ned screamed.

"Language Ned." Peter furrowed his eyebrows at Ned because you were too sad to do anything.

"Yeah. My name is y/n Stark." You sighed smiling a little at the thought of your dad. "Anyway that basically leads us to here..."

"How many superpowers do you have!?" Ned asked still fanboying.

You sniffled back more tears because you hated looking weak. You smiled at your friend's fanboy side. You thought for a moment before answering. "Umm... I think so far overall around 11...?" You were not entirely sure but that is how many you currently were aware of... currently...

Then you and Peter realised that he was still holding you in his arms. You two quickly but hesitantly retracted.

"Wow... you two are so cool." Ned smiled looking at you and Peter. "Then there's me and I'm he like 'I'm totally the third wheel'. Rip..." The three of you laughed.

"Correction. You're the 'guy in the chair'." You smiled at him. Ned smiled back before swinging around in his seat and piping 'guy in the chair'.

Another hour passed that mainly consisted of you, Peter and Ned moving positions around the room. Occasionally eating some Doritos. Currently, Peter was sitting upside down in the ceiling, Ned was sitting on the bed wearing Peter's Spider-Man mask and you were walking around on your hands.

"Oh! They stopped!" Ned referred to the hologram he was holding. Peter stood up. Still upside down of course. So his hair was sticking up. It looked adorable. Y/N JUST FOR ONCE FOCUS ON THE TASK INSTEAD!

"Merriland?" Peter questioned.

"What do they have there?" Ned asked.

"I don't know. Evil lair?" Wow. Peter and Ned watch to many movies. But then again, so do you.

"They have a lair?" Ned questioned. You joined in on the conversation.

"Dude. A gang run by an evil guy with wings? Yeah. They have a lair." You scoffed jokingly.

"Bad ass..." Ned nodded happily at all of this undercover stuff. "But, how are we gonna get there if it's like 10,000 miles away?"

As if you could read each other minds you all looked at a poster Peter had of Washington DC.

"It's not to far from DC..." Peter smiled looking at you.
