"So mind telling me why we are out here?" Takumi immediately says the moment his companion takes a seat next to him. The wooden bench creak under their weight as if threatening to collapse. However both of them know that it won't, regardless what happens to it.

They chose to meet in the forest part of the park for less bystanders. The sky is already dark and the metal lamp lights seen from where they are are flickering. The trees had already shed their leaves and the nocturnal animals are quiet due to the two's presence. It may be dark to the average human eyesight but to them it was as clear as a day with cloudy skies.

Leo could only laugh at the other and asks, "Quit whining you baby. Did you eat yet?"

"Do you even know what time it is? Of course I ate," Takumi states in a matter of fact tone.

"Oh," Leo mumbles before proceeding to click his tongue and shove something inside his coat. Takumi catches sight of his actions and quickly grabs hold of Leo's arm to stop him. His grip is firm on Leo and demonstrates the power that backs his title.

"What do you have there?" Takumi breathes in a low voice as an illusion of distrust is blended into his words. His amber eyes glint an unnatural light when they stare straight into the blond's umber orbs. Takumi can feel an unease in the other as they try to brush him off. If it isn't his imagination he can feel Leo's heart speeding up its pace. Suddenly his lips perks up with a hint of mirth.

Not taking a chance to consider why Leo is acting this way he lunges forward. Mimicking how a snake hunts for prey Takumi overpowers the unsuspecting vampire and constricts his movements. Then he slithers a hand into under Leo's beige coat to pull it out the mystery item.

It was a metallic cylinder container. Takumi unsaddles the victim and inspects it closer. Leo hurriedly reaches for it and growls, "Hand that over now!"

"Quit whining you baby. Did you not eat yet?" Takumi taunts Leo with the same words he said earlier then continues, "This is warm, uh, Leo you know that your blood is spoiled right?"

Leo has words of displeasure written everywhere on his face, a first for Takumi to be able to read his face so clearly.

"Who said that it was meant for me?" The blond spats and readjusts his clothing. Sitting back up, he folds his arms and crosses his leg in irritation. "Go on. Open it."

Takumi gingerly uncap the container and could feel the warm air already seeping from it. The strong scent of herbs hits his nose and tells him what they are. "This couldn't be... Beef stew?!"

"Which I made in fact," Leo adds and surprises Takumi even more. It's uncommon for a vampire to know how to cook despite having the same sense of taste like humans. Human food just doesn't have enough nutritional value to be consider a healthy diet for vampires. Thinking this Takumi couldn't help but smile at a realization; Leo cooked for him. However, this isn't good for his heart if he misreads on why the vampire did this.

He close the container and sets it down on his lap. The smile on his lips leave all too soon and hardens to a straight line. An action similar to a sigh leaves his mouth before asking the other without turning to face them, "There was something else you wanted to talk about, right? Why else would we meet in a place like this?"

"I wanted us to be alone Takumi," Leo whispers. The vampire creeps closer so the other can hear.

Hearing his name in such a misleading sentence feels even more electrifying than before. The way Leo's voice makes a cold chill run down his spine and intensifies the heat inside him is no joking matter right now. Not even the cold season can cool off the passionate ideas in Takumi's head of what they can do alone together. He has to stop before he makes this awkward, but being in close-proximity isn't helping.

Then an idea pops into his head. This is his chance to ask Leo about his preferences. Without giving it a second thought he asks, "Are you gay?"

A blunder.
He wanted to brush that subject, not tackle it!

There is no going back, so, screw it.

"That's not what I meant!" The confusion is rising between them and Takumi scrambles to straighten it out. "What I really mean is... Do you swing that wa- no that's just the same question. I mean, you are single right? Wait, no, that is what I want to know but... Leo actually I- hmm?!"

Something soft touches his lips. It's warm and sends a shiver down his spine. His whole body flares in heat at the realization at what is happening. The poor soup container falls from Takumi's grasp and the connection between the two slips as Leo leans forward to catch it.

"Don't fall apart just yet," the blond smirks proudly and sets the metal container aside. His condescending attitude cause something to tick in Takumi. The idea that Leo may think he is a complete amateur at this makes him throw any sort of shyness away.

Takumi pulls Leo closer with a tug and elevates himself on the bench to match his partner's height. Then, he purposely give the surprised blond an alluring smile before sealing those soft lips. He can tell that Leo was inexperience with this but he chooses to continue the kiss and deepen it.

Luckily Leo is a quick learner because the moment they separate to take a breath they automatically return without a problem. Their kiss soon evolve into having their tongues to exchange and explore the others mouth.

Though it was still fact that Leo is new to kissing so it wouldn't be odd if he makes a blunder. In which he did, since it caused Takumi to retreat in pain. The vampire can taste blood and he knows what he had done. His fang had cut Takumi's tongue.

"Ow," Takumi wince in pain and moves away from Leo. He scowls at the metallic flavoring slowly conquering his sense of taste. He uses the back of hand to wipe his mouth and find Leo staring at him. "What?"

"Did it hurt that match?" Leo asks with a puzzled face.

The question irritate Takumi as it was pretty obvious that it did hurt. Before lashing out at the confused blond he realized he hasn't yet told the vampire about his condition. The silver haired boy sighs and leans against Leo. Then he answers, "I think I made that pretty apparent, Leo. I mean, I was meaning to tell you that I didn't feel the exchange."

"Okay," Leo replies. "I see nothing wrong with that, but..."

"I am one-hundred percent human. Nothing fancy like Sacred Blood." Takumi outright clarifies.

Leo goes silent at this and folds his arms. Takumi can tell that Leo is thinking about what he said but the vampire abruptly concludes, "Well it doesn't change the fact I love you. No matter what you are or who you are; you are the one I fell in love with."

"Well that's surprising." Takumi is looking for something.

"What?" Leo notice his movements and helps him to accomplish his goal.

"Who knew you can be quite the cheesy romantic," he giggles as he can feel the others warmth. Their fingers interlaced as Leo leans in Takumi's neck.

"I'm a cheesy romantic? Then how about this," Leo lift his head and whispers, "How about one more kiss before I forget your warmth on my lips?"

Takumi turns to face him and smirks. Leo returns that smirk with a smile. Both of their cheeks have a light tint of rose to reflect their inner embarrassment at that sentence. No matter, they give each other a light peck on the lips in response.

"I can finally tell you. Leo, I love you too."

The room is dim with only one source of light at the center. The lightbulb flickers boldly upon the round table below it. A slender man seats at the table. His black hair covers the metal that decorate his face and he celebrates in joy, "The plan can be set into motion now."

Another man, a mercenary, sits across from him and replies, "You really went out of your way to set up this killing fest."

"Of course! It is a big shot we are handling here."

The mercenary with incredible muscle mass smirks at his words and says, "Well, I don't care as long as you pay us. But I guess a little more fame wouldn't hurt. Right boys?"

Shouts of responses roar from the shadows that the light couldn't touch. They approve of the incoming chaos. Everyone did and the mastermind laughs as he touch the metal plating on his face.

"Finally, I will have my revenge."

A group of three are bent down before an altar as they gave their prayers. They are clad in white matching uniforms. A peculiar sigil is etched into their equipment and clothing.

Suddenly they all rise in the forgotten church and face each other. It is the pink-haired male who speaks first, "I've receive a report from the main branch. They're making their move at the predicted location."

The red haired girl whirls in surprise at the news and immediately asks, "Did they allow us clearance?!"

"Yes." The pink-haired male responds and clenches his fist. "They given us full authority as an apology for back then."

"Yeah! This time I'll beat them," the red haired girl cheers in excitement. Her bloodlust is off the charts as she grips her sword's hilt for comfort.

The last of the three reaches toward her shaking hand and clasp it softly. His beautiful blue eyes that he received from his mother's lineage gives his friend reassurance. He smiles and speaks without the flowery words, "Finally, we can say their deaths were not in vain."

Author's note:
