"Ah hate it when Ah'm wrong".

Rainbow was still acting weird. She would still be over dramatic for everything. And when she wasn't, she was cocky. She thought she was the star of the show at all times. She wad rude to the other fairies when they talked to her. She was just a brat.

At the moment the girls were having a snack.

Sugarbelle brought out a tray of cookies.

"Chocolate chip", she said putting the tray down.

The girls thanked her and dug in. The girls happily ate their snack. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. The teen had a look of disgust on her face. She put the cookie down.

"Is something wrong, your highness??", Sugarbelle asked.

Rainbow looked at her.

"What kind of cookies are these??. They taste terrible".

The girls all looked at her in surprise. Sugarbelle's eyes widened.

"They do".

Applejack glared at Rainbow.

"No, they don't".

She looked at the baker.

"They taste amazing. Someone's just been wakin' up on the wrong side of crazy lately".

Rainbow glared at Applejack. She stood up.

"I'll be in my room. Don't disturb me".

She walked out of the room. Assoon as she left. Everyone rolled their eyes.
Even the guards didn't look happy.

"And princess of the universe has left", one grumbled.

Applejack looked at them.

"Sorry about that guys. Ah don't know what's wrong with her. She just started actin like that a while ago after we found er. It's strange".

Applejack sighed. This was horrible. Something was wrong with Rainbow Dash and she couldn't figure out what.

Twilight walked up to the blonde teen. Placing a gentle hand on her shoulder, she said, "It's okay Applejack. I'm sure that whatever it is making her like this, will be found out. Maybe you should talk to her. Try after the festival tomorrow".

Applejack looked at her. She sighed and smiled. "Alright. Ah can talk to er. Fir now, let's leave er be".

"C'mon. Let's go to the kitchen and maybe bake some cakes for the festival tomorrow", Pinkie said bouncing on her feet.

The girls smiled and followed Sugarbelle to the kitchen. They walked in, the cool air felt good.

"Okay. Let's get to work".

The girls smiled.

"It looks so good".

The chocolate cake looked delicious. With blue and white icing, Pinkie and Sugarbelle decorated it very well.

Applejack suddenly looked around.

"How did we manage ta do this??", she asked.

The girls looked around. There were flour everywhere. The four laughed.

"Ah bet Rainbow woulda loved ta have seen this".

Applejack's smile fell. She sighed.
The girls noticed and looked at her.

"What's wrong??", Twilight asked.

Applejack crossed her arms.

"Ah just wonder what's wrong with Rainbow Dash. She isn't the Rainbow ah know. It's drivin me crazy".

Twilight placed a hand in her shoulder.

"Don't worry Applejack. I'm sure we'll figure it out".

Applejack looked at her.

"Alright".

"It's almost nighttime", Pinkie said looking at the clock.

"We have ta get home".

Applejack nodded.

"Ah'm gunna say bye ta Rainbow. Be right back".

Applejack turned and walked out of the kitchen. She walked down the hall. She passed a few guards who were unusually glum.

"Hey", She called to one of the gaurds named Flash Sentry. The blue haired guy looked at Applejack.

"What's up with the loom an gloom??".

Flash sighed. "It's just the princess. She's been really harsh on the guards. It's kinda hard to be happy around her nowadays".

Applejack made a face.

"Yeah. Ah've noticed. "But don't worry. Ah'll find out what's wrong soon".

"I sure hope so", Flash said. "I really want the old Rainbow back. Can I tell you something??".

Applejack nodded and walked over to him. Applejack leaned against the wall, arms crossed loosely.

Flash scratched the back of his head.

"Princess Rainbow Dash was my childhood best friend".

This easy news to Applejack. Why didn't Rainbow Dash mention this before??.

"Oh. Wow. Ah didn't know that", Applejack said in surprise.

Flash nodded and chuckled slightly.

"Yeah. After she lost her wings, I became friends with the princess. She was a really nice snd sensitive person. I had to help her get out of her I securities of not having wings".

The gaurd sighed.

"I wonder what's wrong with her. She's not like this. Never has been. It's like Rainbow isn't even Rainbow".

Applejack smiled and placed a hand on his armor covered shoulder.

"Don't worry", she said. "Ah'll to the bottom of this. Ah plan on talking to her after the festival tomorrow".

Flash nodded. "Thanks Applejack. Having Rainbow Dash back to normal self will make this place alot more enjoyable. It's something about Rainbow. She makes everyone happier here. It's crazy how she can make the most glum of days for the other gaurds and then next thing they know they're smiling and laughing at something she's doing or telling them".

Applejack smiled. Seems just like Rainbow.

"Ah know what cha mean", she said.
"She makes mah bad days better and the dark brighter. Sometimes literally when her wings glows in the dark".

The two laughed. Applejack sighed smiling. Then she turned serious.

"Ah miss her too. But don't worry. Ah'll get her back to normal. Promise".

Flash smiled. "Thanks. It'll do the while kingdom a big favor".

Applejack waved and walked down the hall. She made it to Rainbow's room. Stopping she looked at the door.

She bit her lip. Applejack raised a hand to knock but stopped herself. She hesitated before opening the door.

She peeked her head in. She saw Rainbow sitting on the bed with a mirror in her hand. She had her back to Applejack.

"Yup. They don't suspect a thing", Rainbow said quietly.

Applejack's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. What the??.

"Nope. It's working perfectly".

Rainbow put the mirror down. Applejack quickly ducked out of the doorway and shut the door. She ran down the hall and around the corner. She took a peek just in time to see Rainbow opening the door.

The princess looked both ways. Applejack felt her breathing stop. She watched in silence as Rainbow looked around. She probably heard the door close. When noone was spotted, Rainbow turned and went back in her room, shutting the door.

Applejack leaned against the wall. What did she just hear??. What was Rainbow doing??.

Applejack let out a breath and pushed off the wall. She walked down the hall quickly.

"Ah need to talk to the girls".
