Applejack sighed. The sun was shining. Blue skies. What a perfect day. The blonde hunter was sitting on the balcony, out looking the town.

"Applejack".

Applejack turned around. Twilight and Pinkie stood at the door.

"We have some bad news", Twilight said. "The king and queen are getting worse. The queen is bedridden and the king is getting a fever. Where's the advisors??".

"Uh in the library ah think. Let's go find them"

The three walked inside. They walked out of the room and down the hall.

"How bad is it??", Applejack asked.

Twilight sighed. "Not sure. I don't even know what's wrong with them".

Twilight looked at Applejack.

"Hopefully their advisors can help".

The three arrived to the library. Twilight opened the double doors. Walking in they immediately saw Lord Flight and Lords Wind at one of the tables.

"Lord Flight", Twilight called.

The girls walked over to them. The men heard her and looked at them. They stood up.

"Hello girls", he said smiling. "What is it you need??".

"What's wrong with the king and queen??", Applejack asked.

"What do you mean??", Lord Flight asked.

"They're sick and I can't figure out what's wrong??", Twilight said. She sighed.

Lord Flight brought a hand up to his chin, thinking.

"Have you been to Professor Bookssmart??".

Twilight smiled. "Of coarse. He knows everything about sicknesses. Do you know where he is??".

The man thought for a moment.

"He may down in his lab. If not try the town library".

The girls nodded.

"Thanks".

The three hurried out of the room. They ran down the hall and whizzed past gaurds and other fairies. They came out of the castle.

"Let's get the pegasi", Applejack said.

The three walked to the left side of the castle where the royal stable was.
There were fairies brushing the coats of the pegasi. One of them being Fluttershy. She was in charge of animals in the castle. Mainly the pegasi.

"Hey Fluttershy", Pinkie said smiling.

Fluttershy turned around. The girl was about Rainbow's height. She had light pink hair that was looses. Her dress was green and pink. She had a brush in her hands.

"Oh hi girls. What are you doing here??".

"We need the pegasi", Twilight said. "We have to go into town".

Fluttershy nodded. She fluttered to the side. The girls took their pegasi by the reigns.

"We're goin ta town", Applejack said to Sunrise. The pegasi nodded her head.

The girls led them out the the front of the castle.

"Thanks Fluttershy", Applejack called behind her.

The girls climbed on. Applejack looked out to the village. She hoped they wouldn't be out long. Lookimg at the girls, she asked, "Ready??".

Twilight and Pinkie smiled and nodded.

"Then let's go".

"What do you mean ya don't know??".

Professor Bookssmart sighed.

"I man that I have never seen this kind of sudden illness before. This is strange indeed".

Professor Bookssmart rubbed his chin as he examined the king and queen.

"They have fevers, coughing, weakening body, no strength. This is all very strange. I'll have to do some research before I do anything else".

The man smiled. "But if there's a sickness, they're a cure. I'm sure I can find it. But it'll take time. Quite alot of time".

"How long??", Twilight asked.

Professor Bookssmart looked at her.

"Weeks. Probably months".

"MONTHS??!!", everyone seemed to say at the same time.

Professor Bookssmart nodded. "Yup. Could take that long. I'll start my research right away your majesties".

The king nodded. "Thank you Booksmart. I know I can count on you".

The professor smiled. He bowed before turning around and flying off. It was quiet for a moment.

"Wait a second", Applejack suddenly said.

"Has anyone seen Rainbow??".

The girls looked at her. They shook their heads.

"We were actually surprised to not see her with you girls", the queen said.

"Please make sure she's okay".

The three hunters nodded.

"We will".

Applejack motioned for the girls to follow.

"C'mon ya'll. Let's let em rest".

The three girls walked out of the bedroom, shutting the door behind them.

The girls walked down the hall.

"Where could that gal be??", Applejack thought outloud.

"Let's split up", Twilight said. The girls nodded.

"We'll meet back here".

The girls headed in different directions. Twilight checked the library. Pinkie checked the kitchen and the ballroom. Applejack checked Rainbow's room.

Nothing. They couldn't find her. The girls hurried back to their meeting spot.

"I CAN'T FIND HER", the said in unison.

They stopped and stared at eachother. The girls couldn't help but laugh. It's not often they do that kind of thing.

Applejack got back into serious mode.

"What do ya mean you can't find her??. She's not in the library readin??".

Twilight shook her head. "No".

AJ looked at Pinkie. "She's not in the kitchen or with Kicker??".

Pinkie shook her head. "Nope. Not there".

Applejack was starting to worry. Where was she??. She couldn't have just dissappeared. Something was wrong.

"Excuse me girls", a voice said.

Applejack turned around. A guard stood there.

"What seems to be the problem??", he asked.

"We can't find Rainbow Dash", Applejack said. "She's not in the castle. We've looked everywhere. We went to the village earlier and we haven't seen her there either. In fact we haven't seen er all day".

The guard frowned.

"Come with me".

The girls hustled to keep up with fairy
They went down to one of the rooms. The guard opened it. The royal advisors were there. The four turned when they saw the girls.

"What's wrong??", Lord Flight asked.

"We can't find the princess", the guard said. "She's missing".

The adults gasped and flew over to them.

"Are you sure??", Lord Flight asked.

Applejack nodded. "We checked everywhere and we haven't seen her all day".

"Then let's alert the other guards", he said.

He, the girls and the gaurd hurried out of the room. They hurried down the hall. Lord Flight told a few gaurds to fly around the castle to see if they could find Rainbow Dash. They hurried to the king and queen's room.
Opening the door they hurried into the room. The king and queen sat up at the sound of the door opening.

"What is it??", King Lightning asked.

"Have you seen Rainbow today??", Lord Flight asked.

The king and queen looked at eachother.

"No", Queen Eden said. "Why??".

"Applejack. Is she alright??", the king asked, worry evident in his voice.

Applejack sighed and shrugged.

"We can't find er".
