The village was bustling with fairies. Bakers giving out free treats, last minute decorations, excited fairies chatting about whatever.

Rainbow looked around in awe as Kicker landed onto the ground. She looked around.

"Woah".

Everything looked amazing. The princess couldn't look away as Applejack lifted her off. Applejack saw her face and looked around as well. She had to admit the village decorations were amazing. There were streamers and banners and ribbons of every color.

Everything seemed so lively and happy. There was a good vibe in the air. Applejack felt her spirit lifted just being there. She looked at her friends. Pinkie Pie was looking around, excitement all over her face.

"Wow!!. Oh looky, the bakery!!".

Pinkie grabbed Twilight and dragged her over to the bakery. Rainbow and Applejack laughed and followed them.

They walked over to a baker who was selling some bread. The man was named Rising. He was a loyal subject to the king and queen.

"Hey Rising", Rainbow said smiling.

The man saw her. He bowed.

"Hello your highness. Would you like to try some of my garlic bread??. Fresh from the oven".

"Okay".

The man each gave them a sample.

"Mmm".

Rainbow's eyes widened.

"These are amazing", she said.

The baker smiled. "Well I'm glad you lol them princess Rainbow".

Rainbow smiled.

"C'mon Applejack".

She tugged Applejack around the village. They went to games snd food places. Applejack's had to run to keep up with the princess. She had so much energy in her.

"That was fun", Rainbow laughed.

The girls had just finished playing a game. Applejack took her hand.

"Yeah. But you totally cheated".

Rainbow stuck her tongue out at her.

"Jealous".

Applejack smiled.

"Nah. You won fair and square".

Rainbow giggled. As they walked she spotted her father. The girls walked over to him.

"Hey dad", Rainbow called.

The king looked up and saw them. He smiled. King Lightning walked towards the pair.

"Enjoying yourselves??", he asked.

Rainbow and Applejack nodded. The king smiled brightly.

"You know Rainbow", he said. "I met your mother at a festival like this".

Rainbow'seyes widened.

"Really??".

The man nodded. He sighed. "Yup. I remember it like it was yesturday".

~flashback~

Lightening sighed boredly. Why should he have to come to a stupid festival??. He didn't have anyone to be with except his parents.

The teenage prince suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw his mother standing ther, a soft smile on her face.

"Please darling", she said. "Try and have some fun. Who knows what the day will bring".

Lightening sighed again. "Yes mother. I'll try".

The queen smiled and pat his shoulder. She walked off. Lightning looked around at all the different places he could go. He decided to just stay by the lunch tables.

Walking over to the wooden benches, he sat down. An hour had passed and he was still standing there.

"This is stupid", he grumbled.

He got up. When he turned he bumped into someone. It was a girl. She fell onto the dirt.

"I'm so sorry", Lightning said.

He suddenly froze. The girl looked up at him. She was beautiful. With pure white skin and magenta colored eyes that sparkled. Locks the many colors of the rainbow framed her face. Her wings had a silver touch to them. Beautiful.

The girl gasped. She quickly stood up. She bowed.

"I am so sorry your highness", she said with a soft angelic vojce.

"I didn't see you".

The young prince shrugged.

"It's alright. It was my fault. No harm done I suppose. Are you alright??".

The girl nodded. "It's okay".

"Please. Let me make it up to you".

The girl raised an eyebrow.

"How??", she asked.

"I'll win you a prize".

The girl blushed. "You don't have to your highness".

The prince shrugged. "Wait", he said. "What's your name??".

"I'm Eden".

The teenage boy smiled. "That's a beautiful name. Now C'mon".

He took her hand and they flew off into the festival, laughing.

~end of flashback~

"And is that how I met my queen", the king said.

The girls gave an awww.

"That's so sweet", Applejack said smiling.

Rainbow smirked. "Yup. They're awesome. C'mon, let's go".

The girls ran off through the village. They weaved past shops and people. Children flew around giggling and laughing.

They suddenly heard music. Rainbow smiled. She took Applejack'shand and dragged her behind her.

"Where are we goin??", Applejack asked.

They came to a part of the town. There were fairies dancing and laughing. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash who was smiling like crazy and the people.

"Wanna dance??".

Rainbow looked at her. She stared at her for a few seconds before nodding.
The two walked over and joined the group of people.

Applejack took Rainbow's hands in hers. The music was fast and upbeat. The two began to dance. Spinning and twirling, they smiled at eachother.

Applejack picked Rainbow up and lifted her up. Rainbow held her hands on Applejack's shoulders and giggled.

The music ended. The two stayed for a few more songs. There were fast songs and then fancy waltz, ballroom dancing. Rainbow couldn't stop giggling the whole time.

"This is so much fun", she said quietly.

Applejack smiled. "Yeah. It is".

The two headed back to main part of the village. There they saw Rainbow's parents talking to some of the people. Rainbow fluttered above the ground. The girl flew in circles around Applejack, who shook her head.

"You're gunna get dizzy. Ah reckon you stop".

Rainbow stopped and landed. She shook her head.

"I see stars", she said giggling. She shook off the dizziness. She crossed her arms.

"See. I'm fine".

Applejack chuckled. "If you say so then alright".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her and smiled. She leaned in to kiss her. Suddenly they heard a commotion. The two broke apart and turned their heads. They saw people flying away, panic on their faces. Gaurds were hurrying to where the fairies were running from.

The two looked at eachother. They rushed down the path to where the guards were going. The turned a corner but suddenly stopped. They gasped.

The two teens looked at eachother.

"What the??".
