It was silent in the room. Everyone stared at Applejack. Applejack looked at Ivy who was sitting back on her throne, arms and legs crossed.

"Go ahead, Applejack. Try".

She gave a shrug. "You'll fail but it'll be a great performance".

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. She gave a small smile.

"Rainbow", she said, a little hesitant. "It's me, Rainbow. You remember, right??. Applejack".

Applejack took a small step closer.

"Be careful", Twilight warned.

Applejack continued forward, slowly closing the gap between them.

"Rainbow. This isn't you. Ah know you".

Applejack gestured around the room.

"This", she said, "isn't where you belong. You belong back in Avalen".

Rainbow's expression didn't change. Applejack wasn't about to give up. Not yet.

"You remember Avalen. Yir home. Yir kingdom. You're a princess, remember??. A good princess".

Applejack shook her head.

"You'd never use yir power ta hurt anyone", she said. "Never. We're not afraid of you, Rainbow. You'd never hurt yir people, yir parents, Twilight or Pinkie Pie.....".

Applejack continued on towards her, taking slow steps.

"You'd never hurt me. Remember??. Ah'm yir girlfriend. Applejack. The one that saved you when ya got kidnapped by yir uncle??. Yir best friend. Ah saved you when ya nearly fell off that cliff when we went hikin with yir parents".

Applejack smiled sadly.

"Rainbow. Ya need ta wake up".

Applejack stood in front of her. She looked at the princess. She slowly brought her hands up and cupped Rainbow's face in her hands.

"Ah can't lose you, Rainbow. You mean everything ya me", she whispered.

Rainbow's eyes suddenly flashed back to magenta. Rainbow took a step back, grunting. She shook her head.

"I........ I don't know you........".

"Yes you do, Rainbow", Applejack said, nodding her head. "You're Rainbow Dash. Princess of Avalen and ah'm Applejack. Yir girlfriend and best friend".

Rainbow's eyes flashed back to green, a confused look on her face.

"I..........".

Tears burned Applejack's eyes. Memories of the past year ran through her head. All the good times they had together. The birthdays, the balls, the adventures, the nights up late talking, the meaningful conversations, the times they were just laying beside eachother and the kisses they shared. If Applejack couldn't wake her up, all that would just be memories. The thought of losing Rainbow forever to Ivy made her heart ache. She knew she was probably trying in vain but she had to try.

"Please Rainbow. Ah'm right here. Wake up. Ah can't lose you. Ah can't live without you..... I......".

A tear ran down her cheek. Applejack touched their foreheads together, not breaking eye contact with Rainbow Dash.

"Ah love you".

Applejack leaned in and kissed Rainbow's lips. For all she knew that would the last time.

Applejack pulled away, looking at Rainbow.

Rainbow's eyes widened. She suddenly gasped, taking a step back. Applejack held on strong to her wrists. The princess' breathing quickened.

She looked up at Applejack. She grunted.

Applejack watched as her eyes changed back to her magenta colored irises. Rainbow blinked a few times. Her body relaxed. She looked around in confusion.

"What the......".

She looked at Applejack. She gasped.

"Applejack!!".

Applejack smiled, tears running down her face. She embraced Rainbow Dash, holding her tight. She had never been so happy in her life.

"IMPOSSIBLE!".

The girls jumped apart. They turned and looked at Ivy. The woman was standing up, a look of disbelief on her face.

"That's impossible. How did you do that?!!".

Applejack smirked. "Like ya said, true love conquers all".

Ivy growled.

"GUARDS!!".

Nothing. Applejack and Rainbow turned around. They were surprised to see everyone in the room looking around in complete confusion.

"They were being controlled too", Applejack said.

The guards were looking at each other and the armor they were wearing, completely lost.

Rainbow looked over her shoulder. She saw Ivy attempting to sneak away.

She turned around.

"Hold it right there!!", she commanded.

Ivy stopped and looked at her. Applejack and Rainbow Dash looked at her.

"Look whose got nowhere ta go", Applejack said, smirking.

Ivy glared at them. Two of her guards came up to her and grabbed her.

"Let me go, you fools!!", she demanded.

She struggled against the men. The guards held her hands behind her back.

"Ivy", King Lightning said. "You'll be coming with us and answering to all your crimes against Avalen".

The men tied her wrists up and led her away.

Rainbow and Applejack looked at eachother.

"What happened??", Rainbow asked.

Her head ached. She held her head in her hands. She tried to remember what happened but nothing made sense.

Applejack took her hands.

"You were kidnapped by Ivy and mind controlled so she could use ya as her weapon ta take over the world. She had someone take yir place so we didn't notice fir weeks. Ah knew that somethin' was wrong. You wasn't actin' like you. The imposter was boastful and prideful and ignorant and down right rude to everyone. Everyone in the castle was startin' ta hate chu".

Rainbow's eyes widened.

Applejack smiled.

"Ah'm just so glad you're back".

Rainbow looked around. She thought for a moment.

"I remember going to the meadow", she recalled. "I was looking out at deer that was grazing nearby by. Then I ended up in a cell".

Applejack frowned. "Someone must've knocked you out. We went lookin' for you that day. You were nowhere to be found in the castle n' everyone was lookin' fir you".

"Really??", Rainbow asked, eyes wide. "Everyone??".

Applejack nodded. "You betcha. Everyone back home is gonna be so happy ta have the real you back. The imposter was makin' the castle an unbearable place ta be. It was so gloomy and moody. Everyone was always in a bad mood because of her".

Rainbow made a "hm" sound.

"Then I'll have to apologize to everyone for that".

"But that wasn't you, Rainbow", Applejack said. "You don't have ta apologize for anythin she did".

Applejack smiled. She wrapped her arms around Rainbow and hugged her. Rainbow giggled and hugged her back.

"Ah missed you", Applejack said. "More than you know".

"I missed you too", Rainbow replied happily.

"Rainbow".

The two pulled apart and turned their heads. Rainbow got a face full of Pinkie and Twilight. The two hugged the princess. Rainbow nearly fell over. Applejack steadied her.

"We're so glad to see you again", Twilight said.

Rainbow smiled. "I'm glad to see you guys too".

Pinkie beamed.

"When we get home, we're having a Welcome Home party", she said excitedly.

"That sounds like a great idea", Rainbow said, hands on her hips.

"Rainbow", another voice said.

Rainbow turned their heads. She gasped. She saw her parents standing there.

"Mom. Dad!!".

She ran up to the king and queen. The two wrapped their arms around her. The family of three embraced eachother. Everyone watched the heartwarming scene.

Queen Eden pulled away from the hug and coughed into her elbow.

Rainbow looked up at her.

"Mom", she said. "You look horrible. You're still sick??".

Eden coughed some more. When the episode was finished, she smiled tiredly at Rainbow.

"I'm afraid so. But I'm so happy you're safe. Are you alright??".

King Lightening kneeled down in front of Rainbow.

"My darling", he said. "You had your mother and I more worried than we've ever been. Did Ivy hurt you??".

The man looked over her for any injuries. Rainbow shook her head.

"No. I'm fine, dad. Just a headache".

Rainbow frowned deeply.

"You're still sick too", she noted, worry on her face. "We need to get you home".

The king stood up. He turned and faced the crowd of fairies.

"Attention everyone!!", he bellowed. "I know you're all probably confused as to where you are. You're deep in the Forbidden forest".

"Oh come on!!", Rainbow shouted. "Why am I always taken here??".

Applejack laughed.

"It's like this place is attracted to me or something!!", Rainbow shouted, an irritant look on her face, her hands thrown up in the air.

King Lightning chuckled. He cleared his throats and continued.

"You were all under a mind control spell. Ivy, the one that was behind it all, was going to use you all to take over the world. She did this to get back at me and my wife for something that happened a long time ago. So she took out daughter as well. Just know that she is okay and that you're all safe now and we'll start our journey back home once we know that everyone is okay and that we leave no one behind. I want a search party to go through this place and see if there are anyone left that we don't know about".

Rainbow looked over at Applejack, Pinkie, and Twilight. She walked up to them.

"I don't know what I'd do without you guys".

"Anytime", Twilight said. "It's kind of our job now".

"We might as well just change our titles", Applejack said, grinning. "No more hunters. Now we're princess rescuers".

The girls laughed.

"Hey".

The girls turned around. They saw Sugarbelle and Flash walking towards them. Rainbow smiled.

"Guys", she said. She ran up to them, the girls following.

Rainbow ran up to Flash and Sugarbelle and hugged them. The two fairies returned the hug, happy to see the princess.

"We're so happy to see you again", Sugarbelle said. "We missed you like crazy. Everyone at home does too".

"Yeah", Flash said. "I'm glad you're okay".

Rainbow pulled away.

"Did you come with Applejack??", she asked.

The two fairies nodded.

"I led them here", Flash said. "I knew where you were and how to get here. I was able to sneak out and go back to the castle to get them".

"Thank you, Flash", Rainbow said sincerely. "I wouldn't have been saved if it weren't for you".

Flash shook his head. "Nah. I just got them here quicker. Applejack was the one that woke you up out of your trance. She saved you".

Rainbow looked back at AJ.

"Of course she did"

Rainbow giggled and looked at Applejack. She grinned. She walked up to her and hugged her around her neck. Applejack was taken off guard.

She smiled.

"Thank you, Applejack", Rainbow said. "I love you".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist. She lifted Rainbow off the ground.

She looked up to see their friends and Rainbow's parents looking at them.

"Ah love you too".

All was right in the world with Rainbow back in her arms. The world made sense again.

She had her Rainbow back.
