Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie fell to their knees. The stone floor was not forgiving. The girls looked at eachother.

"You alright?", Applejack asked.

"Yeah", Twilight said.

Pinkie nodded in agreement. They knew the others were being held captive right behind them by other guards. Applejack looked over her shoulder. It was quiet. She looked back at Flash, the King and Queen, and Sugarbelle. They looked unharmed, if you don't count the King and Queen still being ill.

Applejack looked back in front of her. There stood the girl behind it all. She smirked down at them from her throne.

"Well", she said. "What do we have here??".

"We found them spying upon above", one of the darkly attired guards said. "We saw them sneak in. They created a diversion outside and snuck past the guards on post".

"Oh really", the girl said, standing up.

She walked up to the three girls. Now they could get a closer look at her, the girl looked like a regular fairy. Just with darker and sharper features.

She stood before them, standing up tall and powerful.

"Well well well. If it isn't the heroes of what used to be Avalen", she said, placing her right hand on her hip.

"I had a feeling I'd run into you someday. You just don't give in easily, do you??".

Applejack glared up at her.

"Who are you??".

"If I know King Lightning", the woman said looking down at the blonde hunter, "then you should know my name".

"I didn't tell them", King Lightening spoke up quietly. "They don't know your name".

The girl looked down at Applejack.

"I'm Ivy", she said. "Queen Ivy as you'll now call me once I take over this world".

Applejack didn't like her one bit. This girl was insane.

"Why??", she demanded. "Why are you destroyin' so many lives??".

The smirk disappeared from Ivy's face. It turned into a slightly angered fill expression.

"Because those two", Ivy pointed at King Lightening and Queen Eden. "Killed my parents and destroyed my life".

"You tried to have us assassinated", King Lightening argued. "Your parents knew the punishment for that is death. Your mother and father got what they deserved".

The flame of fury seemed to have ignited in Ivy's turquoise eyes.

"Well", she said in a dark tone. "Since you took something I loved away from me, I took something you love away".

"Where is she??", Queen Eden asked. "Where is our daughter??. What did you do to her??".

Ivy smirked. She turned around. She calmly walked back to her throne. She turned and sat down, a look of triumph on her face.

She snapped her fingers.

"Rainbow. Come here", she called.

Applejack saw movement from the far left of the room. They all turned their heads. They saw her.

Rainbow Dash.

Applejack's face fell. "Rainbow", she breathed.

Rainbow walked towards them slowly, a blank expression on her face.

Ivy stood up, looking at Rainbow Dash.

"Come here, my pet", she said, extending her hand.

"She ain't yir pet", Applejack snapped.

Ivy looked at her.

"No. You're right", she agreed. "She's my weapon".

Applejack's eyes widened.

Weapon?? What was that suppose to mean??

Rainbow approached Ivy. Ivy turned her so she faced the girls. Applejack looked up at her.

She was inches away. She so badly wanted to hug her and kiss her and then take her back home and never leave her side again.

"Rainbow", she called.

"Sorry, Applejack", Ivy said in a mocking tone. "She doesn't know you anymore. Not as a friend anyway".

"Rainbow!!", Queen Eden shouted, her sore throat making her waver. "Can you hear me??".

The woman glared at Ivy, hatred in her eyes.

"What have you done to her??".

Ivy shrugged, her hands on Rainbow's shoulder.

"Nothing", she said slyly. "Just.......... changed her way of thinking. Let's just say she isn't your sweet little girl anymore. She doesn't see you as her mommy and daddy anymore".

"You mind controlled her", Applejack summed up.

Ivy looked at her, grinning. "Yeah. Simple".

Ivy looked at Rainbow.

"So this is the girl that I foretold all those years ago. I told you she'd pay the price for my parents' deaths".

She smiled. Ivy slowly circled the still princess.

"Now I'll use her power to take over every kingdom".

Ivy glanced over at Applejack. She saw Applejack looking at Rainbow Dash.

She laughed. She turned and faced her audience.

"This is just too much", she cackled. "I nearly forgot".

She placed her hands on her hips and pouted mockingly.

"The hunter and the princess are in love", she said in a high pitched girly voice.

She cackled, her shoulders shaking.

The young woman looked at Applejack.

"Sorry to break it to you, honey", she said. "But she isn't yours anymore. She's mine and you'll have to spend the rest of your days without your precious girlfriend".

Ivy sighed in content. She looked at Rainbow. "With her using her amazing power, my army will be unstoppable. I'll take over every kingdom on earth and enslave the world".

"You won't get away with this!!", Applejack shouted.

Ivy looked back at her. The blonde hunter was being held back by a guard. She was struggling against her bonds. Ivy laughed at the sight.

"I already did", she said.

Applejack gave up struggling. She sighed and hung her head in defeat.

"What's this??", Ivy said, amusement in her voice. "The great hero of Avalen gives up??. Can't be".

AJ lifted her head. She looked up at Rainbow. The princess was looking at her with a blank expression on her face and dead green eyes.

"Rainbow??", Applejack called. "Can you hear me??. It's me. Applejack".

Ivy cackled.

"Oh this is gold", she laughed. "You seriously think you can take her out from under my spell?".

Then she grinned.

"Well they do say that love is the most powerful magic of all".

She crossed her arms.

"Release them".

Applejack's eyes widened. "What??".

A guard approached her. He cut off the ropes, letting her hands free. Applejack rubbed her wrists, relieved to feel the tension gone. She rose to her feet, bringing Twilight and Pinkie Pie with her. They stood up and looked at Ivy. Applejack eyed her skeptically.

"Why did you-".

"Because", Ivy interrupted, a smirk on her face.

She looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow. Blast them".

The girls' eyes widened. Rainbow faced them, a determined look on her face. She formed an orb of magic in her hand.

Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie backed up. This wasn't good

Rainbow Dash blast at them. The girls jumped out of the way, the beam of magic just missing them.

The girls rolled on to the ground. They looked over in the direction of the blast. A giant hole was now in one of the stone walls.

They looked at Rainbow Dash. She was ready to attack again. The hunters got up, eyes on Rainbow Dash. Ivy suddenly placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her.

"Stand down", she said.

Rainbow relaxed, the orb of magic disappearing. She glared at the girls menacingly.

Ivy looked at the teens, smirking.

"See??".

She looked at Applejack.

"What I'm going to do", she said. "Is I'm going to let you try to take her back".

Applejack's eyes widened. "What??".

"You heard me", Ivy said. "I'm going to sit back and watch you attempt to break my spell on and prove once and for all that love conquers all".

She laughed. Then she smirked once more.

"If you fail", she said. "Well then........... bye bye. Rainbow will not miss a second time and you know that so you better hope you get to her".

Ivy motioned to Rainbow Dash.

"Go ahead, Applejack. Try".

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. The princess' green eyes glowed darkly.

Applejack bit her lip.

She hoped to Celestia it worked.
