"Flash??".

Flash stood there, out of breath, and covered in dirt. Applejack quickly hurried over to him.

"What happened to you??", she asked quietly, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Flash was catching his breath.

"I...... I escaped from them".

Applejack looked back at the others. The king and queen walked up to them.

"Flash", Queen Eden said, a worried look on her face.

The guard looked up. His eyes widened.

"Your majesties. How did-".

"That's not important", Applejack interrupted gently. "Where were you??".

Flash looked at her.

"Me and tons of other fairies had been taken to another castle. We were put in the dungeon as prisoners. We were able to trick the guards and escape".

Flash crossed his arms. "The rest of the fairies are in hiding not too far from here".

"Can you take us??", Queen Eden asked. "We'll need all the help we can get if we're going to find out where our daughter is".

Flash looked up at them. He looked away.

"Actually", he said, bringing a hand up to his chin.

"I think I have an idea".

Applejack looked at him. He did??. This was great!!.

"Where??", she asked. "Because we have no idea what's goin on outside these walls".

"I'm guessing she might be back at the castle we were taken", Flash said in thought. "It seems to be the lair of the woman who kidnapped us".

"A woman??", They all said at the same time.

Didn't see that coming.

Flash nodded. "Yes. A woman is behind all this. I've seen her and I could point her out clearly, exactly and immediately if I see her again".

"Can ya take us there??", Applejack asked quietly. "It could be where Rainbow is being kept".

Suddenly the queen coughed into her sleeve. The king wrapped a comforting arm around her. The huntresses looked up at the ill royals.

"Are you sure you'll be able ta make the trip??", Applejack asked, worry obvious in her voice.

The king nodded. "Yes".

Queen Eden nodded. "Of coarse. We'll be just fine".

"Well. Ah don't know about y'all", Applejack said. "But we've really gotta get a move on. We kinda have a castle ta sneak inta, and a land ta cross ta get there. Fairies ta save, and Rainbow Dash ta find and rescue".

"Of coarse", King Lightning said. "Come on everyone. Flash, lead the way".

"Yes your majesty", Flash said with a nod of his head.

The guard took the lead. The group entered the secret passage way.

The glow from the fairies lit their path. The passage way door was closed behind them. As they walked, Applejack looked around. The passage way was dark. Their footsteps echoed, indicating that the floor was made of something hard like tiles or something.

"When was this built, yir highness??", Applejack asked quietly.

"It was built quite some time ago", the king asked.

"My father had it built before I was born. Just in case him and my mother ever needed to escape the castle for a situation like an intrusion, they'd have some type of escape. They have these tunnels all around the castle. One in the bedrooms, in the kitchen, in the throne room, in the dining hall".

Applejack looked surprised. She didn't know that.

"Why are we just findin out about this now, yir majesties??", she asked.

"I never came to mind", the queen answered. "It's not th at we didn't want you to know about this. Your job is to protect Rainbow, so it's important that you know about this. It's just that we forgot about it since we never had to use it before".

Applejack gave a nod.

"That's alright", she said, flashing a smile back at the two adult fairies.

"Not chur fault".

It was quiet for quite some time after that. The group walked in silence. Applejack and the girls had their weapons ready.

"I think I see some light up ahead", Flash suddenly said.

"Tell me King Lightning", Twilight said. "Do you know where this leads to??".

"If I remember correctly", King Lightning said. "This should have taken us to the castle garden. The entrance is hidden so noone will see us coming out. But be careful if the worst case scenario happens".

The three hunters looked at eachother. They nodded. The group came to a staircase. Flash walked over to it. She peeked up.

"I see daylight", he said, smiling. "C'mon. But stay quiet".

He motioned for them to follow. He took the lead, his sword in hand, as he ascended the stone staircase. They were all quiet. Finally they reached the top. Flash poked his head up, glancing around for anyone that might be around.

When he saw no one he looked at the others.

"It's clear", he said. "C'mon up".

The group came out. Applejack looked around at the garden. It was destroyed. The plants were smashed, the flowers trampled on and ripped up. It was quite depressing to see.

"I guess they didn't leave a thing untouched here, whoever they are", Sugarbelle said. "They must really hate this kindgdom".

Applejack nodded in agreement.

"Ah just don't get why", she said, turning around.

She faced the others. She looked at the king and queen.

"Who could be responsible fir all this and why would they take Rainbow??".

The king sighed, his shoulders falling.
Applejack noticed and cocked her head to the side.

"What??", Twilight said. "Do you know who's responsible for this your majesty??".

"I'm afraid I have a pretty good idea", King Lightning said.

"Do we have time??", Applejack asked.

"We can spend a little time here", Flash said, looking at the sky. "But then we must hurry if we want to get to somewhere safe before someone finds us".

"Sit down", King Lightning said quietly. "I think you all need to know this. Especially you Applejack".

The girls and Captain Flash looked at eachother. They all sat down on the grass, sitting beside one another.

The king and queen sat down as well. Everyone was quiet ad they watched them, silently waiting.

The king sighed.

"It was a long time ago".
