"We should be there any time soon".

Pinkie sighed. "I hungry".

Applejack looked up at Pinkie. The pink haired teen brought a hand up to her stomach. She had to admit. She was starving. They hadn't eaten since yesterday.

"Fine", Applejack said. "Let's get to the kitchen , whip us up somethin ta eat and then we're off. But remember. This castle might be patrolled with guards".

The group crept along the silent halls. The only was their grumbling stomachs. Applejack and the king led the way.

The stopped at a corner. They could hear someone coming, making them freeze. Applejack looked back at the others atnd motioned for them to get back. They all moved a few feet back and pressed themselves against the wall. Suddenly a fairy flew blew. Applejack was thankful for the lack of light that hid them. Seriously was also glad that the fairy didn't see the glow coming from the fairies.

Applejack stood there for a moment. She relaxed. Checking to see if anyone else was around, she motioned the others to continue on.

"That was way too close", Pinkie whispered in relief.

Applejack nodded. "Tell me about it".

Applejack peeked in. She looked around the empty room. It was empty.

She opened the door and walked in, the others close behind.

"Alright", she said, turning to look at the others.

"We eat and pack some food, but hurry. We don't know who might be in this castle. There are guards in the castle so we gotta be quick. And don't, fir love of Avalen, don't be too loud. Ah don't know about ya'll but ah don't wanna get caught".

Everyone nodded and spread out. They went a different section of the large kitchen. Prepared sandwiches and drinks and each given something sugary to keep them hyper and awake.

Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie, and Sugarbelle sat down in a corner. They ate their meals quietly.

Applejack suddenly stopped. She looked at her sandwich. She wondered if Rainbow had eaten. The blonde huntress suddenly thought of the princess. Was Rainbow Dash okay??. Was she starving in dungeon somewhere like before??. Was she hurt or scared??. Was she still alive??.
"Applejack??".

Applejack turned her head to see Twilight looking at her.

"Are you alright??".

Applejack snorted.

"Twi. We were just kidnapped a few days ago. Celestia knows who just took over Avalen. Rainbow was taken from us. No, ah'm not alright".

Applejack suddenly realized how mean she sounded. She sighed.

"Ah'm sorry Twi. Ah didn't mean ta snap at chu".

Twilight smiled. "It's alright. I don't blame you. After everything that's happened, I knew you'd do something like sooner or later".

Applejack sat criss-cross. She sighed again.

"This sucks", she groaned quietly.

"Tell me about it", Pinkie said. "But at least we have eachother".

The group looked at the pink haired girl. Applejack snickered.

"That was the corniest thing Ah've heard in a long time".

The girls laughed quietly. Applejack smiled. She looked up at the king and queen who were sitting not too far away. She noticed they weren't smiling. They looked troubled.

"Um, your highnesses??", she called quietly.

The king and queen looked at her.

"You okay??".

King Lightning sighed.

"Yeah. I just......... I'm worried about Rainbow. My poor little girl all alone, again".

Applejack nodded.

"Ah am too your majesty. Ah can't stop thinking about her. Ah wonder if she's okay".

"I hope so", Queen Eden said, a tired look on her face. "When we find her, you better believe that she's not going anywhere without you girls, her pegasus, or guards".

"Agreed", the king said. "I wonder where she's being kept".

"How are we going to find her??", one of the guards spoke up. He sat up, resting against the wall. "I mean, Avalen is not exactly the smallest place in the world. Plus, there's the Forbidden Forest. There's so many places she could be. Plus we don't even know what's going on outside. For all we know, we're the last good people alive".

Applejack hadn't thought of that. They had no idea what was going on outside the castle. For all they knew, it could be mass destruction outside of fires and dead fairies.

"Well", Twilight spoke up. "First we have to see what's going on outside the castle. Then we'll go in from there".

"Hey", Sugarbelle suddenly spoke up. Everyone looked at the baker fairy who was drinking up the last of her juice.

Sugarbelle looked around at them, putting her cup down softly.

"Where's the other people in the castle??", she said. "They weren't taken to the dungeons with us as far I know. So where is everyone else??".

It was quiet. Noone knew. Where was everyone??. Had they all been taken somewhere else??. Had they all been killed??. They didn't know and wouldn't know until they left the castle.

"We'll have to wait until we get out of here ta find out", Applejack said before taking the last bit of her sandwich into her mouth.

"So", she said, looking at the king.
"You know this place better than we do. How do we get out the fastest??".

The king thought for a moment.

"There's a secret passage way in every room".

He stood up. The man walked over to wall. He looked around. The girls watched in curiosity. The king used his magic. The wall opened suddenly, revealing a tunnel.

The girls gasped, standing up.

"Woah".

Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie looked at eachother in shock. They had never knew there were so many secret tunnels in the castle.

"That is so cool", Pinkie said smiling.

The king looked back at the group.

"You ready to go??", he asked.

They all got up, finishing the last of their meals and drinks. They cleaned up, not wanting anyone to know they were there.

"I packed us some food", Sugarbelle said. "Everyone gets a pack to carry on their backs, like a little backpack, just smaller".

Everyone was handed one. They all walked over to the entrance way.

"Wait", a male voice called from.the doorway of the kitchen.

They all turned around, weapons ready, ready to fight. Applejack's eyes widened in surprise.

"Flash??".

So sorry for not updating for so long. Writers block got to me. So tell me what you think :)
