Michael was terrified. There was a cloth over his eyes; he knew he was in a vehicle of some sort but that was it. He had no clue where he was, who he was with, whether or not James was alright, and his body felt like it had been used like a piñata. The last thing he remembered was fighting two cyclops and feeling a sharp pain in the back of his head. Right before he blacked out, a voice had whispered to him,
"Thank you for making this so easy for us," and that was the last thing he had heard before he lost consciousness. The car stopped suddenly, Michaels tied up figure rolled to the side and slammed against the door. The next thing he knew, the door was opened. Michael was forced into a sitting position. His blindfold was pulled off but his gag was left in. Blinking his eyes, it took a few moments for Michael to adjust to the bright light. When he finally did adjust, he found that three beings were staring at him. One cyclops, one dracaena, and one human (or one demigod as Michael assumed.) The other demigod though was wearing a ski mask to hide his face. Michael tried to speak but the gag prevented any noise from escaping.
"Should we let him speak," the dracaena hissed. Michael nodded enthusiastically. The other human tilted his head as if he were examining Michael but then nodded. The cyclops was teaching towards Michael but the other captor held up his hand. Unsheathing a long sword from his belt, the demigod put the tip of it against Michaels throat.
"Listen closely kid," the speaker voices confirmed that he was definitely a human and a male. "When we remove your gag, do not scream. We are far away from anyone who is on your side; the only thing screaming will get you is a beating. Is that clear?" Michael did his best to nod while also avoiding getting stabbed in the throat. "Good." The male captor pulled his sword away from Michaels throat. "You can take his gag off." One of the cyclops's large hands grabbed Michael and the other hand pulled the gag from Michaels face.
"What do you want from me," Michael immediately asked.
"Absolutely nothing," the human responded. "But from that sister of yours," his sentence faded out slowly. Michael felt his heart speed increase.
"What do you want with my sister?" All three of his captors laughed.
"Sorry little one, that is confidential," the cyclops answered. The look of amusement in his eyes told Michael
that he wasn't very sorry about it.
"Leave Jessica out of this," Michael snapped. He didn't care that he was tied up, weaponless, and hopelessly outnumbered. He just wanted Jessica to be able to be safe. "What has she done to you?" The male smirked.
"Personally to me, nothing." Michael opened his mouth to speak but his captor wasn't done. "To my bosses, a lot. They are quite adamant about having a, meeting with her." Michael felt his blood boil; Jessica had already been through so much and it wasn't fair that people kept trying to harm her. Not caring about the consequences, Michael spat in the humans face. His captors eyes narrowed and the next thing Michael knew their was a sharp stinging pain in his cheek. Michael blinked away tears, he refused to look weak.
"Bad move kid," the human, who appeared to be in charge of the kidnapping said. "Blindfold and gag him again. Then lock him up." Before Michael could move, the cyclops grabbed him and followed the instructions. Soon Michael could no longer see or speak; he was dragged from the car to who knows where. Only now since they couldn't see his face did Michael start crying. As scared as he was though, Michael wasn't crying because of his situation but rather for Jessica. She had told him that he shouldn't leave camp, that he wasn't ready to fight, but he hadn't listened. I'm so sorry Jessica, Michael thought to himself. As he was shoved into a room and then heard a door be slammed shot, he prayed to the gods that Jessica would be ok.
