The hidden village of Nettai no Mura was inhabited by former refugees of the war, the founders becoming stranded on the island with their friends and families in their attempt to flee their homes—creating generations of Earth and Water benders, living in harmony on the tropical island.

Now, decades later, the orphaned Reilo finds herself running from her people. Her thirst for adventure could not be quenched on the island, nor could it be quenched by any of her suitors.

So, she fled.

She fled a village founded by refugees—as ironic as that may seem—on a rickety ship she'd repaired in the dead of night.

Reilo had become a traitor to her people, and even worse—revealed herself to the watchful, sinister eyes of the Fire Nation.

The ruthless tribe hadn't given her a single issue as she set up a small shop on a merchant dock, where she'd met and served faces of all kinds—old, young, male, female, earth, water, fire—she didn't discriminate. In her eyes, money was money.

So, after she serves a young monk with a memorable blue arrow on his head, and his two Water Tribe friends—she's surprised to find the banished Prince of the Fire Nation at her doorstep.

After quite the scuffle, she escapes, and makes it her mission to track the Avatar and his friends—she wouldn't let the world's only hope of peace fall at the hands of Prince Zuko.

Although, trouble always seems to follow her—except, normally, it doesn't have a scar.
