Author's Note: I'm going to be using the turbo dueling rules of Duel Links minus the speed duel format as in the usage of normal spells.

Daniel's POV:

After meeting up with Emmily Atlas, at a Starbucks having some Blue Eyes Coffee which is unusual in her family since her ancestor, Jack Atlas, started the family tradition of taking time and savoring the Blue Eyes Coffee, we sped our way to the Kaiba Autodrome so that the two of us could build some speed so that Astro can open a portal to the timestream.

My Runner ressembles that of Yusei Fudo's 5ds Runner (But picture it with only black flames instead of the white decals)

"So what's the deal with these numbers and with time travel?" Emily asks as she caught up to me. "Its because we have to stop 'The Order Of The Gauntlet' from obtaining the numbers and if they can travel trough time, who knows what they would do if they take the legendary cards from 'The God Cards' up to the 'Numbers' that our visitors mentioned." I replied with a grudge look to which she notices by the time we entered the timestream. "You're hiding something Daniel, because by the looks of your face you look like you have a grudge against them." I sighed. "They took the only thing that reminds me of my father 'Playmaker' as he was known in 'The Vrains' but I was able to keep 3 links monsters from them." Emily looks at him. "I'm sorry Daniel but at least you still have some of your father with you." I smiled at the consoling words coming from her as I noticed a black IRL Runner similar style as the one Emily uses heading our way and the driver was none other than the person who took my dad's deck.

"Looks like we've got company so I'll challenge him to a duel." I said to the two as I signaled the newcomer for a duel to which he accepts.

3rd Person POV:

   He's using the cards my dad gave and were later stolen by them! But I can't have him knowing who I am in the real world. My turn Draw. I activate my Excelsior NCC 2000's effect allowing me to special summon it when my opponent has monsters on their side of the field and I don't (Lvl. 5 atk:2000)! Next I summon a monster facedown in defense mode. Finally I set three cards facedown.

Draw first of I Link Summon Link Spider with the summoning conditions of 2 monsters. Then I activate its special ability which allows me to special summon a Lvl. 4 monster and I normal summon Cliant in attack mode and activate its ability causing all cybers to gain 500 atk. Leotron (Lvl 4 Atk 2000 > 2500) LinkSpider (-2 atk 1000 >1500)

Daniel(4000 x1 SpeedCounters 3): I activate Stargazer NCC 2893's effect which prevents it from being destroyed in battle against a monster with 2400 or higher. Also I activate my trap spacegate for every attack you give me I gain a counter for later use.

Unkown (4000 x1 SpeedCounters 7): Well then Cliant attacks your Excelsior NCC 2000 then I use Link Spider to destroy your Stargazer.

Daniel (4000 x1 SpeedCounters 3 SGCounters 1) I activate my trap Evasive Maneuvers which allows me to banish the targeted monster and end the battle phase and it returns my monster back onto the field.

Daniel (4000 x2 SpeedCounters 4 SGCounters 1) Draw. Now my Stargazer NCC 2893 is back to the field in defense mode. I got the cards I need for a synchro summon. Now I'll play Pendelum Discovery NCC 1031 in attack mode (Lvl. 4 atk 1800) then I activate my tuner's effect: If a pendelum monster is on the field I can special summon it. Come forth Red Angel(Lvl 2 atk 1200). Now that they're here its time to journey into the future with Red Angel showing the path for Discovery 'lets make it so' synchro summon! Ghost Ship Discovery (Lvl 6 Atk 1600). Now I activate Ghost Ship Discovery's effect: I can target on monster on the field and equip it to it allowing it to gain atk equal to the targeted equip monster and I chose Leotron and equip it to Ghost Ship Discovery (Atk 1600 > 3600) Now Ghost Ship Discovery attacks your LinkSpider!

Draw, first of I'll play my facedown the spell card Dark Hole which means all monsters on the field are destroyed.

Daniel:(4000 x0 SpeedCounters 7 SGCounters 2) Not so fast I play my facedown Mystical Space Typhoon and I target your Dark Hole.

Unkown (1400 x2 SpeedCounters 8) I summon my Widget Kid then I activate my Back Up Secretary's effect which states that when there is a Cyberse moster on the field I can have it special summoned now prepare your self for the Ultimate Xyz Summoning as I overlay my two Lvl. 3 to bring out Number 30 Acid Golem (Rank 3 atk. 3000).

Astro: A Number Card! This next draw is going to determine the fate of this duel Daniel. And if the card is what I think it is you can take out Number 34.

Daniel: Got it Astro.

Daniel:(4000 x1 SpeedCounters 8 SGCounters 2) I'll play my spell card Mycellial Connection allowing me to bring out 3 Lvl. 3 Tardigrade Tokens out onto the field and there is a cost to it since I don't have any Mycellial Cards on the field other than itself I take 1500 points of damage. (4000 > 2500 SpeedCounters 2) Now I'll build the overlay network with my tokens to Xyz Summon Number 34 Terrorbyte in defense mode (Def 2900 Rank 3). I activate 'SpeedWorld Acceleration's effect by removing 8 speedcounters, I can draw a card! (SpeedCounter 9>1) Good 'Draining Shield'. I'll set a card facedown then I'll end my turn.

My draw I'll set a card now I activate my Number's Effect by discarding one overlay unit I can prevent a loss of 2000 life. Now Number 30 destroy Number 34! Hahaha hahaha hahaha!

Daniel: (2500 x0 SpeedCounters 2 SGCounters 3): That wont stop me cause I'll activate my spell card enemy controller and I'll take control of your monster and set it to defense. Next time by, I'll have to use 'Draining Shield'.

I activate 'Speed Spell Power Force's' effect by removing 6 SpeedCounters, I can draw a card (SpeedCounters 12 > 6, x1 > 2) and now I'll do it again! (SpeedCounter 6 > 0, x 2 > 3). Now I tribute my Number 30 to set a monster then I'll end my turn. (SpeedCounter 0 > 1)

Daniel (2500 x0 SpeedCounter 4 > 5 SpaceGate Counter 3). Draw x0 > 1) ! I activate 'Angel Baton' once more and once again, I'll send a monster to the grave (x0 > 2 > 1) Then I summon Enterprise NCC 1701 ( x1 > 0, SpeedCounter 5 > 6) in defense mode  and end my turn.

Computer: Daniel wins the duel

"Astro grab the cards and the number." Daniel said as his opponent jabbed a pipe onto his wheels causing him to fall from the time stream with his Runner while Emily went after him as Astro flew to him after doing his job.
