Its been a week since Yuma, Leo, and Fernando dueled against the leader of 'The Gauntlet' along with Daniel's, Astro's, and Emily's return from the timestream with a recovered Number Card. Now armed with only 4 numbers in their possession they are training hard inside 'The Vrains' in case they have to fight off any members of 'The Order' Inorder to obtain the Numbers. One day they encountered a one of their enemies to which Daniel as NmbrHntrC39 decided to test out his new skill 'Storm Break'.

"You again! I thought that you learned your lesson on dueling against members of 'The Order Of The Gauntlet'!" He said as I flew towards him on my board. "Less talking more duels." I said hoping to defeat him and worry about one less villain. "Good cos' the bossman gave me a new deck of cards I should use to defeat you." "I hope you're wrong about that 'SoulStoned' so "Lets Speed Duel!"

NmbrHntrC39 (4000 x5): Draw first of all I'm going to change the scenery by playing the field spell 'Mycellial Network'. Next I play another spell 'Mycellial Connection' with this card I summon 3 Lvl. 3 Tardigrade Tokens out onto the field with the bonus of you losing 1500 life thanks to its effect and I also Xyz Summon Number 34 in defense mode (def 2900) with my Tardigrade Tokens. I then set two cards. Now make your move wisely.

SoulStoned (2500 x2) Draw I'll activate my own Field Spell so now welcome to Earth X. to replace that field spell you call 'Mycellial Network' Now I flip open my facedown monster 'DC Villain Overgirl' into attack mode (atk. 2000 Lvl 4)

NmbrHntrC39: Before you continue with your turn because once Mycellial Network is sent to the graveyard I can add 1 field spell and special summon from my deck a Pendelum type monster and here comes Pendelum Enterprise NCC 1701 in attack mode  (atk 1600 Lvl 4)

SoulStoned: I'm impressed but not enough go 'DC Villain Overgirl'! Attack his Pendelum Enterprise with Heat Vision!

NmbrHntrC39 (4000 > 3600) I activate my monster's effect when destroyed I can special summon Enterprise NCC 1701 A (atk 1700 Lvl. 4)

Pioneer NV 05 (Lvl 1) Intrepid (Lvl 2) Now it's time to use my Skill 'Storm Break'. I skid on the Data Storm leaning on my board as a card came into view. Now its time to Link with the requirements of 1 Lvl. 1 and now come forth ScoutShip Section 31 (atk 500 -1) Next I overlay my two Lvl 2 machine type monsters to Xyz Summon 'ISS Enterprise NX 01' in attack mode (atk 1200 Rank 2) Now Enterprise B attacks you directly.

SoulStoned: Not so fast I play my facedown 'Draining Shield. (2500 > 4500)

SoulStoned (4500 x2) Draw I'll summon to the field in attack mode 'DC Villain Reverse Flash' (atk 2000 Lvl 4) and I activate one of its effect by decreasing its attack by 500 I can attack you directly! Go Reverse Flash attack NmbrHntrC39 directly with Vibrating Stab.

NmbrHntrC39 (500 x1) Draw from my hand I activate my Field Spell 'Sol System' which will give my monsters an attack boost of 500!

Now Enterprise B attack his DC Villain Reverse Flash with 'Deflector Blast!'

SoulStoned (4500 > 3500) I activate my monsters effect when attacked It can't be destroyed.

NmbrHntrC39: Good thing I'm not done because by using both Overlay units on my ISS Enterprise I can double its attack power (atk 1700 > 3400) Now ISS Enterprise attaxk Reverse Flash with 'Phase Cannon barrage.

SoulStoned (3500 > 1100): My monsters effect prevents its destruction.

NmbrHntrC39: I'll end my turn and ISS Enterprise's attack is 0.

SoulStoned (1100 x2) I'll play Polymerization on my DC Villain Reverse Flash with my DC Villain  Dark Archer to fusion summon 'DC Villain Reverse Archer' in attack mode (atk 2800) I activate its effect by banishingthe ingredients for this fusion not only your monsters are destroyed, you get to draw 3 cards same for me but without losing my monsters.

NmbrHntrC39: You triggered Enterprise B' effect which means that Enterprise C is now onto the field. (Atk 2300 Lvl. 5)

Solvent: Good Comeback but you'll still lose the duel.

NmbrHntrC39: I haven't planned on it yet Solvent.

SoulStoned: Now DC Villain Reverse Archer destroy his Enterprise C for the final time!

NmbrHntrC39: You just triggered my trap card! Evasive Maneuvers which allows me to banishthe targeted monster and end the battle phase.

SoulStoned: I'll end my turn.

NmbrHntrC39( 500 x4): Draw first of all I play Mystical Space Typhoon on my own Field Spell and its effect activates when its sent to the graveyard I can add 1 field spell and 1 Lvl 3 or lower monster to my hand. Now I summon The Pendelum monster The Buran (Lvl 4 atk 1200) then from my hand I special summon 'The Red Angel. Now Red Angel show the path to the future for the Buran and Synchro Summon 'Ghost Ship Discovery' (Lvl 6 atk 1600) and Ghost Ship Discovery's effect activates causing me to choose monsters from my opponents field and equips it to itself and gains attack equal to the monster equipped to it ( atk 1600 > 4400). Now lets Finish this now Ghost Ship Discovery attack his lifepoints directly.

SoulStoned: Noooooo!

"Why didn't you use one of 'Playmaker's' links?" Red Dragon/Emily asked after the duel. "Its his legacy and I feel like making my own with my own cards and it could help me unlock the past ever since I got my memory back with that duel against Yusei Fudo." NmbrHntrC39 responds as Solvent askedNmbrHntrC39 for a Master's Duel to finish what they started when someone stopped the two. "Who are you and what do you want?" NmbrHntrC39 asked the mysterious duelist. "NmbrHntrC39 I wiped your mind as a child to help you forget who your biological parents are because they are part of 'The Order Of The Gauntlet' which I teamed up against them with the help of the 'Knights of Hanoi' since we have a common goal to stop them from destroying the 'Vrains' and in one of those battles your father brought you to me along with your deck inorder to keep you from the brainwashing they do to their mutineers once they find out the truth cause every generation the families inside 'The Order' is forces to join and he didnt want you part of it." He explained as I grew stressed. You said that you were my father 'Playmaker' and I dont believe in those lies so if you win what you said is the truth and I win your words are lies!" NmbrHntrC39 said as they activate their Duel Disks and Duel Boards along with NmbrHntrC39's friends who only activated their Duel Boards
