Breathless: Ava/Ms. stone

Ava/Ms. stone
Ava sat on the “rock of luck” once again, pondering over where her daughter could possibly be. It was her fault of course, she was the one who put her in that type of peril. However the case may be, she was gone from her grasp once again. All she could do these days was blame herself for her daughter’s disappearance. Right when they finally reunite and begin to understand each other, after she was gone for so long, that creature ripped a bigger hole in her heart, one that can never be filled without Ana’s presence. Tears began to stream down her cheeks and she tried to hold them back with all her might. And yet, they managed to come anyway. When she was younger and she had always wished to become a doctor. And once, she learned that crying was good for the eyes, but at that moment, all that would make her feel better was the embrace of her own daughter.
“It’s been a while,” said a familiar voice that had sounded from behind her. She turned and met eyes with something that resembled light.
“It has,” Ava replied, with neither elatement nor resentment. She climbed off the rock and stood, looking up into those bright eyes.
“Just to make you feel better, I made a Haiku. Tree flowers blossom. The green grass sways in the wind. You are cool like me.” She smiled.
“It was wonderful, thank you,” Ava replied.
“I don’t think that cheered you up very much…” said Apollo. In truth, it had not, but it was not in Ava’s nature to be rude towards anyone, including gods. Even if they were, and they most likely are, the reason for her daughter’s disappearance, she couldn’t bring herself to hate them. She loved her father too much to betray his trust like that.

And that's it! I apologize greatly for the short excerpt of the was-to-be sequel, but my friend and I were of often busy. But I sincerely hope that you enjoyed it, all the same.
