Moonlit

We all hear tales of the moonlit nights
The terrors they unfold and of all their fights.
The endings and dreams hidden in sight
Yet hidden by day as shadows at night.

This is no other, than one of those though,
Yet the prose and the sentence structure surely would flow.
For on this eve, this hallowed night,
The shadows are pulled back and we are set into flight...

The terrors we see, the horrors we flee,
The darkness surround you and me surely seemed scary.

Yet we ran not from them,
We ran from ourselves
From them, we ran not
Just the horrors we tried to dispells.

Those horrors our minds
The fear our thoughts.
The terror left inside
Just crosses and noughts.

We fear ourselves and make a big scene
We invision them this mightiest of things
But why do we run from things like this and what does it mean
Why do this haunt us like the strangers in a string.

The ghastly night
Has no terrors
No spooks
No horrors

No nooks or crannies
With slithering monsters
Or shady caves
With a dragon inside.

We seek out the world
Yet we hide from inside
We believe the lies told
We trust in non to confide.

The lies dull the night
It makes it hard to breath
It leads us to darkness
It leads many to greed.

We want it all,
We think we deserve it
Yet no one can say
They want it for certain.

This moonlit night
This darkness in which we hide
The monster is us
You can't escape it, you tried
Like me, you are trapped on the inside.
