Lending each other our warmth.
It was perfect
Calm, happy
Exactly where I wanted to be.

I closed my eyes,
Complacent with it
Yet craving more.

You nuzzle your head
Between my neck and shoulder
I feel my complacency break
I feel bolder.

I look at you
My breath catches
My heart races
My mind paces
And time is traceless.

You had closed your eyes
Your lips formed a smile
Tempting
Beautiful
Perfect.

I lean closer
Like a whisper
My lips grazes yours
And a fire ignites
Blazing strong.

I kiss you softly,
Trying not to break
And have my urges rush
As my passion and love
Overflow from action.

I feel you kiss back
And my heart stops
My mind goes blank
And I simply smile.

I pull away
My lips aching to meet yours
My blood boiling like yours
My thirst for you overflowing
And I want more.

Will you be mine,
I ask you just once
And before you could answer
Everything went blank.

As I was left to the void
And I was met by the cold reality
Of you not being with me
And all I had loved and seen
Had been but just a dream.
