Three months later...(LAST CHAPTER 😭)
Guys, this is actually the last chapter. I don't want it to be over. I remember when this hit 100 views how happy I was and now we have OVER A THOUSAND VEIWS!!! There will be about 5 POVS from the view point of Sophie, Amy/Natalie, Tony, Fury, and Silveny. I know the Silveny one is weird but it will make sense when you read it. Incase you have become unable to read titles since the last time I saw you this happens three months AFTER the last chapter. So quick recap on what happened over those three months because I'm to lazy to write whole chapters about it: The elves obviously revealed themselves to the world. About a week after the last chapter the Council met with the UN and after a few days of negotiations created some peace treaties. The first council ordered act was to send elven physicians across the globe to heal sick and dying humans, as a symbol of peace and to prove they weren't hostile. The world has finally adjusted to this and all.
Sophie Foster POV
Sophie had lived with humans for around 12 years before she figured out she was an elf. In that time, she saw the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of humanity. The good when she saw people helping one another, the bad when she saw people turn a blind eye towards the suffering, and the ugly when she learned about horrible hate acts such as 9/11.
But despite that, Sophie had no idea how the humans would react to the elven world. It was much better than Sophie could have ever imagined.
Of course, there were the ones who claimed it was all a hoax, forged by the government to keep the public focus away from their mistakes. There were ones who tried to steal from the elves and were met with much more resistance than they anticipated. There were those who tried to find fault in the elves, but aside from a few mistakes made by some, they couldn't find enough to classify elves as dangerous.
Sophie herself spoke on the TV a lot for the first month and a half. She spoke about her upbringing and how she herself thought she was human. Her story was spread to show that there were very little differences between the humans and the elves.
The best part, though, was being able to tell her human parents about it. After some hard work, their memories were returned and they openly accepted their semi-daughter for who she was. It was more than Sophie could ever wish for.
Natalie Freeman POV
The past three months had been the greatest few months Natalie had ever had. Her family was reunited, she no longer had to carry the weight of the elven secret on her shoulders, and for the first time since she had first regained her memories, everything felt okay. What more could a girl whose sister saved the world and meant everything to her ask. Everyone she loved was okay, and it seemed like peace was something that could truly be obtained soon.
Tony Stark POV
Tony had a few thoughts about the past months:
It was unexpected. Though part of Tony had suspected that there was more to the world than what meets the eye, there was so much more that he had never seen coming.
The elves were awesome. Especially that Dex Dizznee. He was what the elves called a "technopath", and was crazy good with mechanics. They got along very well. Possibly too well.
Tony could completely understand why the elves kept themselves hidden. Many humans had questioned why the elves would keep themselves hidden and let so many people die if they could save them. But Tony understood. He'd heard what the humans did in the past and understood fully why the elves disappeared and let themselves become stuff of legend. The humans had a chance, and they lost it.
Nick Fury POV
The idea of elves confused him. How could there have been zero evidence of them ever existing? There must have been at least some sign of them. That's all Fury could think about for the first few weeks. But then it hit him. There had been evidence and proof, in the form of myths and legends, things many thought to be fake. After his realization, Fury found himself thoroughly impressed with them. They had to let the idea of them be known, but known in a way that no one would ever believe to be true. Now, if only he could do that with S.H.I.E.L.D., or what was left of it.
Silveny POV
Silveny found herself, Greyfell, and her twin foals in the high mountains near a big human-made sign reading "HOLLYWOOD", three months after the reveal. She heard humans talking and pointing at her and her small family, but she couldn't care less. The world was at peace. She didn't have to worry for her safety, or even Sophie's. That made her happy. With thoughts of swizzlespice, Sophie, her foals, and Greyfell, she flew off into the sunset with her small family with her.
The end.
Guys. Oh my god guys. Its over. My first ever fan fiction on this sight is complete. I am feeling so much gratitude to those who stuck with me all the way from the beginning. I want tho thank each and every one of you guys for sticking with me in between updates and reminding me to update. I don't think I would have ever finished this story without you guys. So as I finally mark this story as complete I'm gonna leave with my favorite from the KOTLC series. On page 197 of Book Six, Nightfall :
The Neverseen may think themselves brilliant schemers, full of plans no one would ever expect.
But when it came to game-changing secrets, the Black Swan would always be the best.
Thank you so much.
❤️
