3rd person POV

Standing in the doorway was none other than Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers. The humans were screaming, and some were even asking for autographs, but the elves were just groaning and comtemplating why fate was so cruel. All of a sudden, Keefe started singing, "Why, oh why, can't you leave us alone?!" The elves started giggling at Keefe's song, while the Avengers stared at him scandalized.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Tony said. "That kid has the worst jokes, and is a total di-" Natasha slapped her hand over his mouth before he could finish. After a moment's hesitation, Nat's hand flew off his mouth, and she glared at him like she was going to kill him.

"HE LICKED MY GODDAMN HAND! THAT'S DISGUSTING! Jesus Christ... " She wiped her hands on Tony's pants and stepped on his foot. Clint, being ever-so responsible, cleared his throat, and everyone's heads snapped towards him.

"Guys! Have you forgotten the reason why we're actually here?" He turned to the elves. "We've been sent to open up peace negotiations with you. Do you have any leader or something? Or is the elven world run by teenagers?"

Sophie smiled. "No, the elven world is not run by teenagers. We have the Council. It's twelve oh-so-powerful elves that make laws and establish peace with other nations. They work closely with a formerly rebel group, the Black Swan." She held up a corded necklace and pointed to a silver pin. "That pin marks me and my friends as full-fledged members of their order." She turned towards Keefe slightly and exclaimed rather loudly, "We would be delighted to open peace negotiations with you! Wouldn't we?" Keefe nodded rather dejectedly. She turned back towards the Avengers and said, "We will be in contact."

Before any of the Avengers could answer the elves, with Natalie in tow, all held up blue crystals, and disappeared in a flash of light.
