Chapter 7: Damn You, Fate
After I finished telling her the whole tragic story, she looked down at the ground and I couldn't see her face.
"Oi.... Tsubaki?" I said as I shook her shoulder.
She stood up and brushed past me, walking out the door. I quickly got up and followed her, but she was now running. I groaned as I was now chasing after her, screaming out her name over and over again.
"TSUBAKI!!" I yelled.
She went outside, with out taking her out door shoes off. I had no choice. I couldn't lose her that's for sure. I spotted her on the baseball field and she looked ready. I kind of frightened me. I walked besides her, but not too close. You wouldn't know what she would do if she had a bat in her hands.
She picked up a base ball and looked down at it. She looked up at a window, eyeing carefully. She tossed the ball up in the air and quickly whacked it far. It had hit a window. I could have sworn that I heard someone groan.
She got another ball, and did it again, hitting the same window. Another groan.
"U-Um, Tsubaki? I think you're hitting someone." I stuttered.
"Oh, I now, (F/N)." She said as she kept on doing it.
She did it, until there was one balls remaining. I heard a groan every single time she hit the ball into the window. But, why that window in particular? I was quite frightened about this. This was a side that I never knew she had.
"Tsubaki, I think we should check on that person." I said.
"That's what I was going to do, (F/N)." She said with a small smirk on her face.
She held the last ball in her hand and ran to the room. Of course, I was there with her, too. When we ended up in front of the room, she slammed the door open and walked to a corpse that was laying on the ground.
"DID YOU KILL SOMEONE!?" I shouted.
"Shh, (F/N). He's not dead." She said as she aimed the ball at the dead body's head.
I saw a twitch. It moved.
"TSUBAKI, WAIT! IT'S STILL ALIVE." I shouted too scared to go up to her and snatch the ball out of her hands. I feared that I would be the next victim of her.
"I... KNOW!" She threw the ball with all her might at the persons head, getting a direct hit from it.
I turned pale as I noticed the body around the poor mans soul. But, surprisingly, it sat up with blood coming down his face. I covered my eyes, not wanting to look at him anymore. I backed up, but the door closed behind me.
"Oi!" The voice shouted.
"Why did you do that?! I could have gotten killed! And the window is broken again. Tsubaki!" The voice had said again.
"Main objective." Tsubaki said proudly as she lightly shoved me more into the room with my eyes still covered.
"I don't want to be the next victim..." I said in fear.
"Don't worry, you're not. Now, stop hiding your face." Tsubaki said.
"AND YOU. APOLOGIES TO HER." Tsubaki said again to the other voice.
"WHY!? YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE APOLOGIZING, TSUBAKI. AND I DIDN'T- do...... anything..." The voice calmed down.
"That's what I thought." Tsubaki said as she removed my hands from my eyes.
I had my eyes shut, and I heard Tsubaki get a bit irritated.
"Got on, Kousei. Apologize."
Kousei...
I slowly open my eyes to find him right in front of me, looking a little down.
"I'm sorry... (F/N)."
Me: YAAAAAAYYYY
Kousei: Are you saying that because I got pelted by balls?
Me: Yes... And I finished another chapter~
Tsubaki: In the naxt chapter, Lets Make Up.
Me: O-Oi!
