I felt guilty and satisfied as Miranda got off from one top of me and laid down next to me on her bed and laid her head on my face as we both breathed heavily. Damn, this little fox is amazing. But something in me just felt guilty. I don’t know what. But all I can hear is my wolf calling me a ‘damn fool’ and ‘selfish’. I was able to block him out for a little while I was screwing Miranda, but not that we’re done, it’s nagging at me again. Ugh, this is so stupid! Makenna is just one girl! One I refuse to tie down with.

After about five minutes of laying there, naked and looking over each other body, Miranda finally got up and went to the edge of the bed. She threw me my pants, “My dad will be home soon, so get dress. This wont look good if he finds us like this. He’s one big scary wolf.”,

She didn’t need to tell me twice. As I got dress, Makenna was in my head. How stupid could I be to sleep with another girl? Ugh, I’m becoming obsessed. I need this anyways. Yes, I did. Cause one, I haven ‘t got laid since last week and I was becoming stressed out about everything and Miranda happily—without her knowing of course—took care of that problem. Second, I don’t do well with ‘daddies’, especially wolf ‘daddies’. They’re one pain of the necks.

Miranda walked me out of her bedroom and down her steps, making sure to be a little quite so her seven year old brother wont hear us. I can’t imagine though, he has his tv blaring up. I feel bad for the pup ears.

When we got to the door, Miranda grinned and put one hand on my chest, “That was fun, Shawn.”, she said, leaning up to give me kiss.

Just so I could get out of here faster without pissing her off, I grinned back down at her, “Totally.”,

As she took her hands off my chest, she said, “We should do it again sometimes.”,

“I’ll keep that in mind.”,

“Boy, I’ll always be on your mind now after what just happen.”, she chuckled and wink.

Sadly, that isn’t true, I thought.

But I shrugged and said, “That could be possible.”,

She bite down on her button lip as she grinned bigger, “See you tomorrow.”, she said in a sexy way. She bopped her head towards the door, “Now, get out of here.”,

We chuckled and I did. Happy to get out of there more than ever, I could finally breath straightly. Being around a fox wasn’t helping the thought of what Makenna face could look like if she ever found out what happening between Miranda and I…

Wait, why do I care? She’s isn’t my girlfriend., I thought.

But she’s your mate.

There goes my wolf talking. I told it to shut up and it did, but I could tell it wasn’t happy by the urge to kick myself in the crotch. I’ll just go on a fun later to make it happy. Running always makes me feel better like I said.

I walked into Travis apartment building and threw my binder and math book on the table as I went over to the couch and laid down on my back. I herd my brother in the bathroom and I smelt shaving cream. Well, his face getting pretty hairy. He doesn’t need to look like a wolf in human form. Ha.

A few minutes later, Travis walked out only in a pair of jeans with one shirt in his hand and his other hand was rubbing his smooth chin, “How was it?”,

“Well,” I said. Like Hell I was going to tell him I gave in and hugged her. He’ll be pissed. “It went fine. I ignored her the whole day.”,

“Good.”, he said, throwing on his shirt. He sniffed the air than and his face went into disgust, “Really, Shawn? It was your first day and you went down on a poor girl.”,

I gave a fake loud laugh, “Ha, Travis. And no, this fox was very willing.”,

“Oh.”, his face dropped. “Well, I’m going out.”,

“Where?”,

As he walked over to the door, he spoke, “The bar. You aren’t the only one with needs.”, he chuckled.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed the remote to turned on the tv. The movie Hancock was on and I stared at the tv, bored.

I should probably go do my homework, but I’ll just do it before going to bed. It’s still going to be there later, it’s all good. I know, I’m lazy.

After an hour of watching tv, my stomach grumbled. Great, I’m hungry. I got up from the couch and went over to the fridge. I opened it and took out some ham and cheese to make a sandwich.

I made three sandwiches and walked back over to the couch, but I kept looking back and forth at the couch and the door of the apartment.

I’m such a loser, I thought. What the Hell am I doing home? I should be going out and having fun. Sure, small towns don’t have much, but walking better than being home. And I can’t afford to gain weight. I need to keep built so not only for the ladies, but my wolf wants me to stay active. It’s really in me to exercise.

I grabbed my apartment key and tuck them in the back of my jeans and left the apartment while eating.

It was seven o’clock when I came up to a park and I went over to the bench and laid down with a sign. Maybe going on a walk wasn’t the best idea since there is barley anyone out! How lame of a town!

At least in Michigan, I actually had places to go. Why would Travis want to move here? I know it’s cause of the woods is just outside of town, but still! This town is pathetic.

I looked up at the crescent moon and just watched it. Like before, I still love watching the sky at night. I thought it was magical. To know there is stuff out in outer space. Other planets and stars. It’s all amazing to me. Travis thinks I’m stupid for obsessing over it, but to me, it’s just plan out cool.

Maybe I’ll become an astronaut…if I dream hard enough. I’ll need really good grades and money for that dream to even go to a college to learn all that!

My thoughts went to Makenna. Her baby face was smiling and her light pale green eyes shone with happiness as she giggled to nothing. The thought made a smile appear on my face. Ah, I love that smile. I want to see it again. I loved the feeling of my heart wanting to explode. I know it sounds weird, but it was a good feeling. It was like having a crush for the first time and you can’t help but think of the person.

Crack!

I herd something break, like a twinge. My body snapped up to see a man I didn’t know. He looked a little like a hitman from the way he standing. He was wearing dress in dress pants with his hands stuffed into the pocket and a white shirt with a dark color tie. From his scent, he’s a wolf. But who is he?

He took one hand out of his pocket and with his index finger, he waved me to fallow him. I hesitated as he turned around and walked up to a nice black shinny car. A moment of thinking if I should fallow him or not, I got up and jogged over to the car and got in the passenger seat.

Okay, so I know what you thinking. What in Hell would I go into his car? I could get kidnapped and murder. But I doubt that would happen since he is a wolf and it’s mostly likely that wouldn’t happen.

I looked at him, “Who are you?”,

He turned in his seat to look at me seriously, “I’m Alpha Dylan, boy.”. My eyes widen, but I remained in my seat, looking at him in shock. “I know your brother, Travis. He’s in my pack.”,

“I know that.”, I said. “What do you want with me?”,

“Well, your new. I would like you in my pack. We can keep you updated and you wont feel alone. Joining the pack will have many opportunities.”, he said casually.

Oh, here we go again. I shook my head, “I’m good.”, I said, turning around in my seat and put my hand on the handle to leave, but he put his hand on my shoulder.

“Wait, I have a question.”,

I hesitated again before turning back around, “Yeah?”,

“Are you mated?”,

My mouth opened slightly. Why is he asking me this? That isn’t important in joining a pack, well it is, but it isn't a usual question. So why does he want to know. It was a few second before I answered him, “No.”,

His eyebrow arched up as he leaned back his seat, “Really?”, he asked. “Then why do you smell like a girl?”,

“Alpha Dylan, I’m in High School, I go to a school filled with hundreds of girls.”, I said.

“This one is special. I saw you smiling and you didn’t even hear or smell me until I broke that twinge. You had your mind on someone. I know that look, I had that look once.”, he said. “It’s okay to have a mate. Just tell me.”,

“I don’t want her.”, I said before I knew it. I gasped and looked straight out the window. Alpha’s don’t usually like that. They want us to be with our mates so our race could survive by having pups.

I excepted him to felt out on me or something, but he simply said, “Well, that’s okay.”,

My head snapped to him in shock, “What?”,

“Did I stutter, boy?”, he shrugged. “I said, it’s okay. But I warn you, you’re going give in sooner or later. Trust me, I know. I was like you, not wanting a mate. But one day I cracked and we become a couple. Few months later, she got pregnant and never wanted to talk to me again since we were in high school. I gave her up when she fell in love with someone else since she was holding a grudge on me for making her wait. So, I let her go. So if I was you, take her now or leave her alone forever.”,

I didn’t know what to say. I’m so confused. One, why would he tell me all this? Second, why does he sounds like he cares to much in my decision? “I-I…I don’t know what I want. I’m so confused with her.”,

“Well, you better think fast. I’m sure she wont want to wait much longer. Most mated humans don’t.”, he said. “Now, are you sure you don’t want to join?”,

“I’m sure.”,

“Well, that’s to bad.”, he said, sounded like he didn’t care. “I want you to join.”,

“Well, I don’t want to. “, I said, getting ready to leave again, but he stopped me again by putting a hand on my shoulder, but I didn’t turn around this time.

“Your Travis’s brother, you have to join. I understand you don’t want to right now, but later on, you will. Travis did the same thing and you look very helpful in the pack. Just remember, you’ll never feel alone.”, he said.

“Why do you want me in so bad? Huh?”, I asked, getting a little frustrated now. I just want to get out of here and go home and watch tv. I don’t need the Alpha of Indiana bugging me about joining a pack.

“I have my reasons.”, he said and he took his hand on my shoulder. “I’ll do anything to have youin it. And I mean anything, boy. Now, get out of my car.”,

I felt my wolf get angry from being order what to do and being threating. What the Hell does he mean anyway? I thought about it as I got out of his car and shut the door and he drove away.

Damn, he weird. I thought.
