The House of Eevee
"I'm going swimming with my big brother, okay Sylveon?" I yelled, eager to play with my big brother. Even though Sylveon is our sister, she's like a mom, for better or for worse. "Ok sweetie! Have fun!" Sylveon replied. I ran outside, glad to feel flowers beneath my paws. The only human on the grounds smiled at me.
After a few minutes, I finally reached the pool I wanted. I smiled at Flareon, one of my big brothers. He was with his best friends Growlithe and Ponyta. "I'm joining you big brother!" I yelled and jumped. As I soared through the air I heard someone yell. "NOOOOO!!!" They cried. Just before hitting the molten lava, I felt ribbons wrap around my torso. I was being pulled back up.
"Eevee!" Sylveon reprimanded. I decided to go for innocence. "Yes, Sylveon?" I asked. "I shouldn't have to tell you not to try swimming in molten lava! If you want to play in a pool, where can you go?" I sighed. "Leafeon's pool or Vaporeon's pool."
Satisfied with my answer, Sylveon put me down. "Go play." I scampered off. I knew where to go. To the one brother who hadn't really grown up. Umbreon. If you ever visit the house of Eevee, here are directions from Flareon's pool to Umbreon's, in case you're not dark type. Past Vaporeon's water pool. Past Espeon's pool of psychic energy. Go left. Go right. Into the cave. Get lost. Start crying. Wait. Eventually a dark type will take you to my brother Umbreon(or at least his sort of pool). Or, if you're lucky, my big brother himself will come and get you. I kept crying and eventually, as predicted, a dark Pokemon, in this case Inkay, arrived. "Take me to Umbreon!" I sobbed. "I got lost, and, and I was so scared!" In a few minutes, Inkay had me safely in Umbreon's fur. "Thank you so much Inkay!" I said happily.
"So Eevee, tell me why you came. Is it our sister-mother Sylveon?" Umbreon asked. "Well kind of." I said. I then explained what happened. "I see. So I'm guessing you want to swim?" He grinned at me. So my brother Umbreon's pool... It's a pool of liquid darkness, so if you go over your head even most dark types couldn't find you. Umbreon could though. I dipped a toe in the pool and grinned as it disappeared. "Umbreon!" Came Sylveon's voice.
"I'll hide." I whispered. I jumped into the pool. Umbreon nodded and walked off. In the distance, I could hear voices. "Have you seen Eevee?" I heard Sylveon ask. "I've asked all the others and they said they haven't seen her, but they're looking." I held my breath, praying Umbreon wouldn't give me away. "I haven't seen her." I breathed a sigh of relief. "Fine. I'll have the groundskeeper make an announcement to the entire House of Eevee." Sylveon said unhappily. Sylveon hated making that poor human that was born in this house do anything. The human had been there when the first three Eevee's evolved into Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon. She had helped turn a run down shack into not only a house, but a place where all Pokemon could stay and relax. After I heard that, I was ready to come out. None of us wanted the groundskeeper to work. I padded through the cave, following the sound of Sylveon's voice.
When I rounded the corner, I saw Sylveon. "Sylveon!" I yelled and buried my face in her soft fur. Sylveon gave me a hug with her ribbons. "Oh Sylveon, I heard your voice when I was lost and I came running!" I cried, real tears pouring down my face. "I'm so sorry I worried you!" Sylveon patted my head, and in moment, I knew everything would be okay. "Here Eevee." Sylveon tied a pink ribbon in my fur.
