Chapter 4
~Couple Of Days Later, Third Person POV, League of Villains HQ~
(Y/N) groaned a little. Finally coming to. Her head shot around, being surrounded by darkness on all sides. For a second, she considered that she was still asleep. She dismissed the idea, since she felt pain. She noticed that she wasn't restrained. So she slowly began to stand up before a hissing pain surged through her body. The pain shook off any drowsiness that lingered. She stretched to the best of her ability before popping her back. She shot another look around, eyes adjusting to the dark to find that she was in some kind of underground room. Another thing she noticed, it was quiet. No sounds what so ever. Even with her own sensitive hearing. She walked over to one of the walls, brushing a hand over it before leaning closer and pressing her ear to the wall. Nothing. Still no sound. "Hello?" She called. No response. She walked over to a desk set in the corner before noting a few books scattered on the surface. She flicked on the lamp before rummaging around in the drawers, also finding a blank notebook, a few pencils and pens, and a flip phone. She picked up the flip phone and quickly realized there were a few numbers saved on the phone. But when she tried to call them she found out that calling was disabled. But she was able to text them judging from how the phone was set up. She tried dialing Aizawa with no luck. And she wasn't about to text the unknown numbers only marked with initials. One being marked T.S. The other was just K. And the last one was N.F. Getting frustrated she put the phone down and picked up a few of the books. Looking at the titles and realizing that she knew a few of them. (Y/N), despite her better judgement, began to relax a little. The quiet was something she rarely ever got. And when she did manage to get some silence it was always blissful. She leaned back in the chair a little letting out a small sigh of relief. She cracked open the book she was holding and started skimming over pages before starting to actually read.
After a while she heard a small noise, like a door opening. Her head whipped around to locate the source of the noise. She spotted a light glow and heard footsteps coming from a staircase across the room. She growled a little as a figure appeared in view. Carrying a candle. With her sharp vision she saw his black hoodie. And through her powerful sense of smell she recognized the scent off of him. "You're awake." He said. "Who are you?" (Y/N) shot back. The male villain sighed, pulling down his hood. Her eyes widened a little, noting the familiar evenly split hair and burn mark over the left eye. "Todoroki." She said, covering up her slight shock. "You remembered me huh?" He questioned. She snorted a little, shooting him a glare. "We never formally met, keep that in mind. But I never forget a face that enters U.A. Young child or no." She growled. He nodded. "I'm aware (Y/N). I'm aware." He said.
It was true. The two never really knew eachother. But of the very few times Endeavor has visited U.A. on occasion he brought Todoroki with him. Of those few times, (Y/N) would always be somewhere close. Watching. Never approaching since Endeavor was very intimidating to a young girl who had very little understanding of her own Quirk and how powerful it was. And with the constant bad feelings she got from him she never wanted to be close to him. But sometimes Todoroki would notice her watching. And sometimes they'd even make eye contact. They never spoke to eachother. But they knew who the other was. The famous 'perfect child' of Endeavor. And Eraserhead's only daughter.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes a little. "That's Alpha to you villain." She hissed. He hummed a little. "Last time I checked, I didn't take orders from you." Todoroki shot back. "Then who do you take orders from?" (Y/N) prompted. He opened his mouth to answer before stopping himself and glaring at her. "Clever. Very clever. Then again, from the top student at U.A. it's not surprising." He said. The (H/C) haired female scoffed with an eye roll. "I'm not the top student at U.A. I'm a hero in training who patrols with my father and already has her Provisional License." She snapped. "Are you learning at U.A? Then you're a student." Todoroki said with an eye roll of his own. "I'll have you know I help teach classes." She retorted. "Do ya' now? Funny. Because for a teacher you were a little reckless in our fight." He responded. (Y/N) was silent for a minute, a look of confusion crossing her face. "The last thing I remember was going into Alpha form." She said. Her eyes widened. "How the holy hell are you alive right now!?" She questioned in shock. He facepalmed a little. "I threw a bunch of ice at you. Dodged a lot. And waited for fifteen minutes to pass." He said. Despite knowing she shouldn't, (Y/N) smirked a little. "Color me impressed. No one withstands Alpha form for long. Not even Dad. Then again, with Alpha form I have a crap ton of fire at my disposal so....yeah. Kinda easy to block his line of sight." She muttered, mostly to herself while sweatdropping. She shook her head a little before setting the book she had opened down. "Why did you kidnap me?" She questioned, glaring at him. "Can I come over there? It's hard to talk to you normally when I'm all the way across the room." Todoroki countered, taking a step closer. "Stay. Over. There." (Y/N) hissed, suddenly standing up and growling in a threatening manor. Todoroki tilted his head a little. "Was that hesitation in your tone?" He questioned. "What part of that sounded hesitant? Either way, answer the d*mn question Icy Hot." (Y/N) spat. "Hm...How about no." Todoroki said. "Alright, answer me this then. Why the hell am I not restrained at all?" She questioned. "Restraining a hell hound. Not the best idea in my opinion. Besides, you aren't a prisoner. You're a guest." He responded, waving a hand dismissively. (Y/N) snorted a little in slight amusement. "And hey, I'm smart enough to do research before kidnapping someone. I know very well that confined spaces and restraints, with you, is not a good idea at all. You freak out if you can't move around. And I'm polite enough to at least try and make you comfortable." He added. (Y/N) rolled her eyes, not buying a word of it. Todoroki sat the candle down before sitting behind it. (Y/N) slowly sat back down as well. "Alright. Another question. What else do you know about me?" She questioned. She saw Todoroki smirk a little. "Oh plenty of things. You're the daughter of Eraserhead, but you aren't blood related to him. Despite looking a little like him, you're his adoptive daughter. I know that he's put you under intense training and you can copy almost anyone's fighting style. From his own, to Mic, to even Midnight. What I find impressive is how you've copied the fighting style of that vigilante that was around years ago. You do research. You can fight without seeing, and your reaction time is something to behold. Eraserhead did well in training you. I know that despite being a hero in training you prefer to use knives in most combat scenarios. While I don't know the reason, it was something I was wary of as we were fighting. You look up to Stain. Surprisingly. And you absolutely hate my father. Something I can appreciate. You're a highly intelligent girl, who has many skills because you feel the need to prove yourself. Your Quirk is considered villainous by many and you wish to prove them wrong. You excel in most tasks given. And you have great potential. For any side. I'm also aware of your special sixth sense. Oh. And the vigilante activity at night. I'm also aware of that little...pass time of your's." Todoroki listed. (Y/N) lowered her head a little. Todoroki hummed a little to himself. "Something wrong? Or are you not proud of the whole, 'looks up to Stain also a secret vigilante' thing?" He questioned. (Y/N) shot him a glare as well as a growl. "So you know a few things! What does it matter? Why am I here?" She questioned. "Well, let's just say me and my leader have taken an interest in you. Not only is your Quirk....interesting in general. But your skills are ideal." Todoroki said. "What does that mean? Quit talking in riddles d*mnit!" (Y/N) spat. "To be blunt. We want you to join us." That got (Y/N) to laugh a little.
"I was expecting that reaction. The others don't think I can do it either. Sensei has his doubts. But, I'm confident in my persuasion skills. Granted, Sensei could get it done in a matter of days. But that doesn't guarantee loyalty. I have time. To be more accurate. I have a month. And that's more than enough time." Todoroki said. (Y/N) snorted. "Why are you trying to get this done by the Sports Festival?" She asked. Todoroki gave her a small smirk. "Don't worry about it Alpha." He said. He got up, getting the candle on his way. "I'll leave you to explore your new territory." He added. And with that he left. (Y/N) snorted a little. "Cocky a*shole." She grumbled. She got up and started patrolling the area. Looking for something she could use. She found a small door and opened it to find a training room. She sighed in slight relief. At least my skills won't get dull. She thought. The room was lit by candle light. Giving it a more creepy vibe to normal people. But to (Y/N) it was pleasant. The floors were padded with training mats and there were many training dummies and punching bags. She also noticed lots of weapons lined on a rack on the wall. But she quickly noticed there weren't knives, swords, or some of her favorite stabby weapons. She opted immediately for the Bo staff. She twirled it in her hands before slipping into a stance. A metal Bo. About five foot. Not too heavy surprisingly. She profiled before using it to strike a training dummy, twisting into another attack, then a third strike. She continued training with it, twisting into the Vigilante's fighting style since his main weapon of choice was a Bo staff. Fast and brutal counter attacks most the time, with very vicious and precise strikes. Aimed to knock out or simply immobilize. But not to kill.
~Time Skip, Few Days Later~
(Y/N) punched and kicked fiercely at the punching bag, her breathing controlled as she focused on her task. Todoroki watched with interest. "So why do you look up to Stain? How long have you been a fan of his?" Todoroki asked. Making casual conversation as he watched her train. She round house kicked the bag before continuing. "I'm a fan because he recognized that most heroes nowadays are selfish. Also, if you hate Endeavor, that instantly makes you more smart than most people I know. I'm a fan because he's right. Heroes need to go back to how they used to be. Doing things for justice. True, justice. Doing things for the sake of saving others. Not for money or fame." She responded before jumping and kicking the bag again before landing on the ground in a lowered crouch before circling around and attacking from behind. "I've been a secret fan since I first heard about Dad talking about him. They were having a conversation about having to deal with him. It was right after he made himself known by his first kill. So about three months ago. I haven't been a fan long. But I was probably one of the first supporters." She continued. "Even though Eraserhead is a Pro Hero? Weren't you worried about Stain going after him?" Todoroki prompted. "Dad can handle himself. Back alley fights are his specialty. And Dad, even if he doesn't show it, he really does just want to help others. Money doesn't interest him. And c'mon. He's Eraserhead. Fame is not his thing. All he wants is to keep people alive and do his job. Stain may claim that all heroes except for Uncle All Might need to be purged. But there are some good heroes out there. Which is where me and Stain's ideals differ. Kill the true fakes. By all means. Even if it sounds heartless coming from me. But keep a closer eye on the heroes. Good heroes never get popular. Heroes that just want to help never get popular, or if they do, they become corrupted by all the lights. But heroes like Mt. Lady? Heroes like Endeavor? F*ck em. No one will miss them. And the world is better off without them. But I do know a kid in my class who does things for money. But only because she wants to support her family. That's noble. So it's important to keep a close eye on the heroes you kill. If I was Stain, I wouldn't be as strict. But he is right." (Y/N) explained. Todoroki hummed a little. "I suppose you have a point." He said.
This was routine at this point. Todoroki would visit (Y/N) once or twice a day. Either help her train, watch her, or ask random questions out of the blue. First day or so, she was more hostile towards him. But being hostile took energy. Energy she'd rather use for keeping her skills sharp. Other times Shigaraki would come down to play a game with her. Though they'd get in lots of fights over the rules. Or just Shigaraki raging because (Y/N) was really good at games. Kurogiri would come down and talk to her too. But that was just more conversations about what (Y/N)'s favorite foods and drinks are.
Todoroki hummed a little as (Y/N) picked up a water bottle, taking a few sips. "Do you always train yourself like this?" He questioned. She laughed a little. "Nah. Typically I don't train this much. I'm napping most the time or patrolling U.A. school grounds. But since I have nothing better to do, might as well keep my skills sharp." She responded. Her face went blank. Todoroki recognized that look. "Idea?" He questioned. She smirked a bit. "You know how you said that you wanted to help me with one of my training excises at one point?" She asked. The duel Quirk user nodded. "Now's your chance to do that." She said retrieving the Bo staff from the rack. She snatched up a blind fold before tossing three rubbers balls at Todoroki. He caught them with ease. "I want you to throw those at me while I'm blindfolded." She said, tying the cloth around her eyes. "Is that a good idea?" He questioned. She scoffed a little. "You said it yourself, I can fight without sight. How do you think I manage that Icy Hot? This training excise is something Dad used on me a lot." (Y/N) insisted. Todoroki shrugged as she walked to the middle of the training grounds. "Alright I guess." He said. (Y/N) slid into a guard with the Bo staff. Expression unreadable. Todoroki walked around her slowly. She didn't move at all. Not giving any indication that she could hear nor see him. He threw the ball at her only for her to spin last second and deflect it with the Bo staff. Todoroki stood in shock as the ball rolled on the floor a little. (Y/N) smirked. "Well? We gonna continue or not?" She questioned. Todoroki's eyes narrowed as he continued circling around her. This time he aimed at her feet. (Y/N) jumped and dodged it. Once she landed she spun around to face Todoroki again. "Seriously dude. Now I know you can do better than that." She said. Now he was getting frustrated. Todoroki threw the last ball right at her face. And she caught it. She. F*cking. Caught it. (Y/N) looked back over at Todoroki before throwing the ball back to him. He caught it only to be on his butt the next second. (Y/N) held the staff to his neck with a smirk. Todoroki staring at her in shock. "You aren't even trying to disguise where the ball is coming from. Not only is it predictable. And not only can I smell you. But you aren't hiding your footsteps or presence at all. Dude, you suck at this." (Y/N) lectured. She moved the Bo staff away from his neck, stabbing the ground next to her before leaning on the staff casually.
"You need to work on your stealth. We're on a training mat so it's harder to hide footsteps versus stone or wooden flooring. But it's far from impossible." (Y/N) added. Todoroki sat up a little, rubbing his head with a hiss. (Y/N) leaned down a little, offering a hand to him. He took it and she helped him up. But the moment there hands touched (Y/N) started feeling weird. So she let go immediately. Which Todoroki didn't notice. What shocked Todoroki most, was that she was still blindfolded. "How did you-?" He trailed off a little. "Knock you on your a*s like that while blindfolded? Simple. I knew where you were. Through scent, and the fact you hadn't moved from this spot. It was easy to tell where you were standing. And since I know how tall you are, I was able to pinpoint exactly where to strike with the Bo in order to bring you down." She explained. (Y/N)'s smirk grew a little. "Dad always told me that once I got the hang of it, I was better fighting blindfolded than I was actually using my vision. And it's no surprise. With my already heightened senses, taking away my sight only causes the others to grow. I was able to hear your footsteps, breathing, hell I could hear the ball flying through the air." (Y/N) explained. Just then an idea came to Todoroki. "Do you think you could kick Shigaraki's a*s like this?" He questioned. "Probably. It's hard to see him ever being quiet." She responded. Todoroki smirked darkly. "I'll be right back. Oh, this is going to damage his pride a lot." He said before walking off. (Y/N) stood there for a little. She started snickering a little. Easy to forget he's a villain... She thought. The moment her thought processed she shook her head violently. Don't think like that! He's getting in your head! But her eyes, even while blindfolded, kept wandering back to the door. Waiting for the Duel Quirk User to return. Maybe she just didn't like being alone? No. She relished silence whenever she was alone. Her thoughts revolved back to when she had helped him up. She shot a blind look at her hand, opening and closing it a little. What is going on with me right now? She thought in confusion.
