Chapter 2
~Years Earlier, Aizawa's POV, Forest By U.A.~
I was walking around the edge of the forest when I noticed two figures running away from something deeper into the forest. Now on edge I slowly moved towards what they were running from to find a child, only about four months old wrapped in a (F/C) blanket. I picked her up to see that she was fast asleep. "What the hell?" I mumbled quietly, checking the girl's temperature. She didn't seem to have a fever of any kind. "What kind of person would just leave a child out in the forest?" I questioned quietly as to not disturb the young girl. Hugging her close I made my way back to U.A. I knocked on Recovery Girl's door. She opened it. "What is it Aizawa?" She questioned. I showed her the child and she gasped slightly. "Oh, the poor thing. What happened?" She questioned, taking the child from my arms. "I found her out in the forest. Two people were running and I wanted to know what they were running from when I found her." I explained. "Go get Nezu. I'll take care of this one." Recovery Girl said. I nodded before running down the hallway. I knocked on the door to the Principal's office. "Nezu, it's EraserHead." I called. "Come in." Nezu called back. I opened the door but didn't step inside. "You might want to come see this." I said. That was enough to get Nezu tailing me as I ran back to Recovery Girl's office.

"Oh my. The poor thing." Nezu commented. A crowd of the U.A. staff had gathered around the small girl as Recovery Girl held her. "What are we gonna do with her?" Snipe asked. "I think the best coarse of action would be to find her a proper home. One that wouldn't put a target on her back by villains." Recovery Girl said. Just then the little girl started to wake up. Seeing all the new people around her she started crying in a small panic. Recovery Girl tried to get her to calm down but nothing worked. All of sudden instead of crying the girl growled like a dog and shifted into a black furred wolf looking animal that looked like it crawled out of hell itself. She jumped out of Recovery Girl's arms and ducked under one of the beds in the nurse's office. This caused most of the staff to panic except for Nezu and Recovery Girl. "You're all idiots." I growled, shocking a couple of them. I knelt down in front of the bed she had ducked under, hearing her growl. "It's alright." I said softly, like I would if I were talking to one of my cats. I held out my hand slightly. The girl slowly started to poke her wolfish head out from under the bed. She sniffed at my hand slightly before flinching back, the resuming her sniffing. I'll never understand dogs...then again cats do the same thing. I thought. She finally came out from under the bed and sat down in front of me. Tilting her head to the side slightly. I slowly began to pet her, testing the waters. She shifting back into her human form and I picked her up. "You're all irrational. Couldn't you see she was scared? Just because she looked like an animal doesn't mean she'll attack like one." I growled. "Well then EraserHead. She seems to like you most. So do you mind taking care of her? I doubt with a Quirk like that normal folk would want her. And we don't want her as a villain now do we?" Nezu questioned. I thought about Nezu's words, then thought of the two people running away. "Those b*stereds." I mumbled. They must have abandoned her once they realized what her Quirk was. I thought. I sighed slightly. "If you insist." I said. Nezu beamed at me. "Great! Now pick a name for your new daughter!" He said. I glared at him slightly causing him to flinch a little and look away while whistling. I sighed slightly looking at the little girl falling asleep in my arms. "(Y/N)." I said. "(Y/N) Aizawa huh? Has a nice ring to it!" Present Mic said as loudly as ever. I glared at him activating my Quirk therefor silencing him. When he realized he couldn't speak he began to use sign language causing me to groan. "D*mn. It learned sign language." I spat, blinking and giving him back his voice. "But seriously, be quiet! You're going to wake her up!" I growled. The other heroes all shot me smirks. "Shut it, all of you." I growled.
~Time Skip, U.A. Entrance Exams, (Y/N)'s POV~
I yawned slightly in my Hell Hound Omega Form, patrolling the gates like always. When the new students saw me they all ran past me as fast as possible. Save a few. There was a girl with brown hair and a round face. She didn't run past but she did slowly inch around me. And a few others who more or less didn't panic when they saw me but did keep their eyes on me as they moved past. That's when a green haired kid with freckles came into view. I snorted. Five hundred yen says he runs past me screaming. I thought. Once he got to the gates he smiled, that's when he noticed me. He tilted his head in confusion before kneeling in front of me. He held out his hand slightly for me to sniff. I did so and sneezed slightly. This guy smells like Uncle All Might. I thought. "Hey there." He said reaching over and petting me slightly. "Are you staff here or something?" He questioned. "Something along those lines." I said, causing him to jump a little before his eyes lit up with stars. "Whoa! Who are you? What's your Quirk called?" He questioned, pulling out a notebook that was filled to the brim with notes about heroes, and from a few glimpses I caught villains too. I couldn't help but chuckle a little. "You should be more focused on the exams. Do your best." I said. "O-oh right." He said, putting the notebook away and standing up. "See you later." He said, waving at me. I nodded to him slightly. "Don't forget to Go Beyond, Plus Ultra!" I called after him. Once he was gone another student came up. He had spiky blond hair and red eyes. Once he noticed me he gave me a confused look. "The hell?" He mumbled before holding out his hand to me. I sniffed it before letting him pet me. F*ck it, if the b*tch ain't scared of me I'll let em' pet me. I thought as he scratched behind my ear. My tail started wagging before I sneezed slightly, causing him to chuckle. I yawned, revealing my fangs before shooting a look behind the blond. No one else was coming, he was the last one. I walked over to the side of the gate and barked once. A screen was displayed in front of me as I pressed my paw on it. Once the scanning was complete the gates closed. The blond watched me with more interest than before. "I see. You staff or something?" He questioned. "One could say that." I responded padding back over to him. He jumped slightly at the sudden use of my voice. "Head through there to the exam area. Present Mic will inform you of the trials ahead." I told him, nodding to the entrance if U.A. "Good luck. Don't forget to Go Beyond, Plus Ultra." I said. I sprinted over to the door designed for me to enter in Hell Hound form. After scanning my paw I darted inside, eager for the Exams just as much as anyone else was. I made my way around the halls eventually finding where Present Mic was explaining the exams. "Oh, and one more thing!" He shouted as I walked onto stage. I sat next to him and he pet my head.
"This is Alpha. She's a first year hero in training just like all of you! But know this, she's already on par with most of our third years. Alpha here will be stationed in one of the testing sites and depending on her mood as well as the situation, she can be friend or foe. If she sees that you examines are having it too easy, she'll make it harder for you. If you end up hurting yourself, she's there to escort you to a safer area. So be careful how you act around her." Present Mic warned. "Anything you want to add Alpha!?" He questioned loudly. I growled slightly and he removed his hand. "You're still too noisy. Satan, where's Dad when you need him?" I mumbled the last bit to myself. I walked out so the students could see me better before clearing my throat. I sat down and let my cold red gaze fly across the room. "Greetings newbies." I spoke loudly and clearly. "As Present Mic announced, yes. I am indeed a hero student just like the rest of you. However I've grown up as the daughter of one of the staff members. And incase you couldn't tell already, staff here at U.A. consists of Pro Heroes. I work here at U.A. alongside my father as both an assistant teacher and security. If I end up in the same testing area as you I will not only help or harm depending on what's going on, but I will also be there to watch for people cheating. At U.A. we train fledgling heroes, not cheaters. I'll be watching the entire time. One more thing, for those of you that pass you'd better get used to seeing me around. I'm fimiliar with everything and everyone here in U.A. So if you do pass know that you can come to me if you're lost or if you're concerned about something. And a little message for those of you that pass. Welcome to U.A. and the world of heroes. Things will only get tougher from here. The journey to becoming a hero is a tough one, and if you lack the conviction and motivation to help people you won't make it very far. Skill alone will not carry you. You must put your heart and soul into it. I look forward to working alongside all you future heroes. Thank you for your time, and good luck. Don't forget to Go Beyond, Plus Ultra!" I declared. "Alright!" Present Mic shouted as I returned to his side. "There is one last warning we have to give to you before you head out. Alpha, if you would do the honers." Present Mic said, and evil smirk crossing his face. A smirk of my own found it's way onto my snout. "Warning: The following test is not for the faint of heart or those that can't fight or defend themselves. You must enter at your own risk. Once you walk through those gates U.A. is not responsible for humiliation, injury, or possible death. Once again, enter at your own risk, we aren't responsible for anything that happens to you when you've been warned. Thank you. And once again, good luck." I said. This caused lots of the examines to tense up and some to start panicking. "Thank you Alpha!" Present Mic shouted. "Lower your voice!" I snapped back. I jumped off of the stage and made my way to the testing grounds.
~Time Skip~
I smirked, now in my Beta Form on top of one of the buildings. No one seemed to be having much difficulty. I snorted a little bit. Maybe now's a good time to start interfering. I thought as sparks of fire danced on my pelt and around my paws. I launched off of the building with a bone chilling howl causing most examines to start freaking out. "S*IT! ALPHA IS HERE!" Someone shouted. Once I touched down on the ground I started kill stealing bots and causing major disturbances. That's when I heard loud thumping in the distance. There's the zero pointer. I thought. That's when I noticed the brown haired girl with the round face from earlier this morning trapped under the rubble in the path of the robot. Despite my hatred for females a heroes duty is to protect so I was about to launch into action when the green haired boy with freckles launched up and punched the zero pointer. Completely destroying the bot. "Holy s*it! Now that's power!" I shouted in excitement. The boy started falling, seeming to have broken both his legs and his arm. I quickly leaped up and caught him on my back. Once I landed I quickly ran over to where the other examines were. I laid the boy on the pavement leaving him in the care of the others as I sprinted over to where the girl was trapped. I quickly placed my front paws on the rock trapping her and with a grunt of effort pushed it off of her. Once it was off I let her lean on me as I walked her back over to the others as well. Once I sat her down I sniffed at the boy. "Yep. Legs are broken. So is your arm." I confirmed. I then snorted out some flames before howling slightly. "I'm coming, I'm coming." Recovery Girl said. The crowd parted as she walked over. She pat my head. "Good job Alpha. Nice catch." She said. She then healed the boy and checked over the girl to make sure she was alright. "Luckily nothing too bad. Good work to everyone." She said passing out gummy bears. "Alpha, you're dismissed for the day." Recovery Girl said. I nodded before nudging the boy slightly with my snout. He smiled, patting my head before I ran off.
Once I made my way back to the main U.A. building I sat down by the gates, waiting. The kids all started leaving and finally the last one left. I yawned, shifting into human form when I heard tapping shoes. I shot a look over my shoulder and smiled. "Hey dad." I greeted. The tired looking adult nodded back with a small sigh. "I really hope I get a class with potential this year." He grumbled. I sweatdropped a little. "Y'know potential can be made. With enough work that is." I pointed out. Dad glared at me slightly. "We only have three years. I don't have time to 'make' potential." He grumbled, standing next to me. I sighed a little. We both remained silent for a little while. "I need a nap." We said in unison. I snickered a little as Dad groaned. It happened a lot. Every time it did he had to pay me 500 yen. I held out my hand as he forked over the cash. "Thank you." I said. "At least you're polite about it." He growled.
