Chapter 9

Mik

I stood outside her room looking through the crack in the door, damn I'm so good at hiding, she'll never realise. Hehehe.

She seemed to be reading, she was on her bed staring at a book so that's naturally what you'd assume. Her small dragon Moon Light was curled up to the right of her and the Hotel's chocolate brown cat Max on her left also curled up. Crazy cat lady, and crazy dragon lady. I smiled. A dragon lady describes her well, she is vicious like a dragon but I like it.

She let out a long breath, a sigh.

"I know you're out there," Shit get ready for the punches "you might as well come it, there's a better view."

What is this? Is she finally coming to love me? I knew the day would come!

I pushed open the door "Sarah my love how kind of you."

"Yeah well don't get used to it," was her reply as she lazily turned the page, her magnificent eyes not leaving it.

I sat down on the end of the bed. Max lazily opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Awww he is so cute!" I exclaimed. I went to pat him and his jaws opened wide and locked onto my hand, biting deep into my flesh. I tried to play it cool and shake the cat off. I managed to free a bit of my hand and then he bit harder and deeper, drawing blood.

Sarah smelt the blood and her eyes looked at my hand, a small smile crept onto her face.

I tried to pull my hand away from the cat but he came with it.

"Need some help?" her tone was mocking.

"I'm fine," I said through my teeth and winced from the pain, this little cat had one hell of a bite.

"You better watch out he might bite your balls," she said dully and went back to her book.

I gulped "ok play time is over Maxy."

I tried to pry his head off but it wouldn't budge. I could sense Sarah smirking.

"Ok get him off me," I begged.

Her smirk grew and she meowed. Max let go immediately. Damn she's amazing.

"Now usually I'd ask what you wanted of me but I won't because I already know," She told me and she looked back at her book.

She knows me so well!

Max returned to his curled up position at her side and with a final glare he went back to sleep.

"So what are you reading?" I asked.

She lifted up the book to show me the cover Halo.

"Is it good?" I asked.

She nodded in reply and turned the page.

So beautiful. I reached out to touch her leg, her bright green eyes gave me a terrifying glare and I moved my hand away.

Sarah

Religion is so boring....

The teacher put us into groups and my group was at the back of the class. The other girls were talking about one of Jesus teachings, I had my back propped up against the wall and was just about ready to go to sleep. My eyelids felt droopy but I had to stay awake. I yawned. The girls gasped. Oh gods! I can't believe I forgot... again. Every time I yawn my cat teeth come out. So those girls just got a full view of my teeth. My mind raced thinking of things I could say "What is it?" I asked pretending I didn't know.

"Your teeth," one of them said so quietly I could barely hear.

"What about them," I said and smiled showing them my human teeth. They shook their heads and went back to work. I really got to stop forgetting those kinds of things, after all I have been a werecat for 11 years.

Natasha

I strolled into the library, this was my domain. Memories of my past flooded back as I walked passed the shelves of books. I should really be afraid of books after what happened but I'm not.

Rose walked up to me "Hey are you going to borrow a book or something?"

"No we have enough at the Hotel, just checking out their collection."

"Ohhh I see," she looked around at the books.

"It's rather small," I sighed.

"True..."

"It's from the internet no one likes to read paper books anymore, it's a shame. I love the feel of paper in my hands," I explained sadly.

"Well at least they have Harry Potter," She replied while pointing to it.

"Thank the gods," I giggled.

Sarah

I laid my head down on the soft grass, looking up into the clear blue sky. I would do the same thing with my father, when he was alive. We would just sit back, look up at the sky and talk about anything.

I didn't know he was a demigod of Demeter when he was alive. Now there is so much I have to ask him but can't. He was about to tell us but my brother and I had to go to bed. He said he would tell us tomorrow but there was no tomorrow for him, my mum and my little brother. Those evil vampires and werewolf killed them. I do not want anyone to have to go through what I did. It's good to know there are other people who feel this way. That is what the hotel is about, protecting the world from the Leader's plan to take over.

Natasha

A very... interesting scene was taking place before my eyes. Sarah was training and pretty much all the males in the Hotel were staring at her. She didn't really care though, she seemed focused on her training.

Cleo stood next to me.

"How come all the guys pay attention to her?" she whined.

"Werecats were created by the goddess of love, simple," I replied. It's not like I'm trying to be mean but I don't really want to hear complaining about boys, especially when she has heaps of human boyfriends while I've never been kissed.

"I'm the daughter of the goddess of beauty!"

"Your dad's genes ruined it then, I'm just wonder where Mik is."

"What do you mean?"

"Usually he'd be viciously tearing them apart for looking at her," I explained.

"Ohhh.... That guys is a creep."

I nodded "got that right."

I looked around the room. He wasn't there. Where could he be? He is always following her around.

Devil

I strutted into the old hag's office.

"I'm back," I announced.

She saw me and sighed as if to say "ugh her again". That made me smile widely.

I sat down on the arm of the chair just to annoy her.

"What did you do this time?" She asked.

"Burnt my maths text book on my desk."

"And how did you manage to sneak matches in?"

"I didn't use matches, that's for lameasses."

"Then how did you do it a gas lighter?"

"Oh please, You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Try me," She said, it sounded like a hiss to me.

"My hands."

"What do you mean your hands?" she yelled.

I smiled back "I told you you wouldn't believe me."

Sarah

School wasn't interesting as usual. Now I am in the forest sitting in the branches of a really tall tree. Rose flew up to me and said "Devil is trying to kill Maxina again."

"Tell Devil I will tell Maxina who somebody is if she doesn't stop," I told Rose and she flew away. Meow I better get back. I jumped down from the tree, I fell through the air for a while before I hit the ground, landing perfectly on my feet. I could hear someone talking. I looked around. There was white through the trees on my left. I turned and walked towards it. It was a wedding. They were humans but why would they be having a wedding in the middle of the forest? Humans can be strange. I hope the vampires don't get them, I would stand watch but... I can't be bothered I'll make someone else like Mik do it.

I was in the living room watching Niya doing the worm along the U shaped couches. Gods that girl is endless entertainment. I left because there was no way I could watch T.V. With her doing the worm along the couches. I walked up the stairs up to the training room. I could take the elevator but sometimes it has a mind on it's own and takes you somewhere random. Maxina doesn't have a problem with it though.

I opened the door. Iris and James were in there fighting a robot monster. They didn't notice me so I left, no way I could stand being around him.

Sarah

"Hey Sarah," Devil called out.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You weren't really going to tell Maxina who somebody is, were you?" Devil asked.

"Yes I would have but I knew that you would stop fighting her if I said that. As the leader of the hotel I have to make sure the members are not fighting," I explained.

Devil snorted then asked "Why don't you get rid of Maxina she only causes trouble?"

"Do you not know that she created the hotel because you act like you don't," I told her.

"Yeah I do know," she sighed.

"Besides if I was allowed to kick people out Heather and Vanessa would not be here," I said with a smile. Devil smiled to showing her white, pointed teeth.

There was a long silence before Devil asked "So you still trying to get James?"

"Yes," I answered "but I think Iris has caught on."

"I have noticed the death stares she has been giving to you," said Devil.

"That's not going to stop me though," I told Devil "If I did kill him would you kick me out?"

"No," Devil said simply.

"Thanks," I said.

"I would join you if it meant wiping another vampire of the face of the earth," she told me.

"Well maybe we can start after going to the beach," I said.

"Whose stupid idea was that to go to the beach!" she yelled.

"Not mine, I hate the beach," I exclaimed.

Devil said "must be Maxina's, she is so annoying."
