Maxina

"Maxina you're so cold," a girl in my class exclaimed as she brushed up against me.

I smiled awkwardly "Yeah.... that's weird."

She grabbed my hand and put it to her face "So refreshing."

I gave Nicoletta a concerned look but she was just giggling. It's not funny! They can't know I'm a water witch, but I can't heat myself back up.....

"It's so hot today, how can you be so cold?" she asked.

"I don't know," I lied and pulled my hand away.

"You're also so pale."

"I don't like to spend time in the sun, it burns me," I told her.

Nicoletta walked over to me. Finally she's come to help me, so useless and slow. She should at least try to be as good as me, she will never be but still, it's pathetic.

"Maxina can you help me with something over there?" She took my hand and lead me away from the human girl.

"Thanks," I whispered to her and giggled.

"Do you think she thought you were different?" Nicoletta whispered asking me.

"Maybe just unusual not.... you know," I replied.

She sighed "This is hard."

"But school is so fun and we look so cute, besides the Hotel is dangerous so we shouldn't stay there all the time because we need to meet new cute boys and Darrel will kill himself on the stairs or something."

She giggled "You know he could do that just as easily at a school?"

"Yeah but it won't be our fault then," I smiled.

Sarah

I sighed history is next. I know some myths that have actually experienced some of the events that are discussed in this class. For my grandmother ancient egypt didn't happened that long ago, and they built the pyramids only yesterday.

Our history teacher walked in. She is slim with long dark hair and dark skin. She put her books down and got out a white board marker after looking around the room to check if we were all there.

"Today we will be starting our new history topic: Ancient Greece. We will be focusing on Greek mythology. To start lets right all the things we already know about Ancient Greek mythology," she explained to us.

Yes finally something good. One of the girls raised their hand the teacher nodded at them. The girl said "There were lots of gods.... I think."

The teacher replied "can you name any of them?"

The girl blushed and shook her head. Ugh mortals, so disrespectful. I raised my hand the teacher nodded at me "The main gods or the Olympians are Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Athena, Hermes, Demeter, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Artemis, Dionysus and Ares. The other gods are minor gods but some Hades and Hestia are two important ones," I told her.

"Wow you seem to know a lot," she exclaimed and wrote the names on the board.

Of course I would know a lot I've met all of them. Some of them are nicer some..... Not so much....

The mortals went on to talk about the minotaur, Hercules and the difference between centaurs and satyrs. Speaking as if all these things don't exist which I find to be a little insulting. Not that I interact with them all too much I've seen and spoken to them. I guess the mortals can't see them so why should they believe that they are real? 'Seeing is believing' a phase many mortals say, that way of thinking is close-minded as their science hasn't been able to detect magical or anything mythical, it like the mortals who created it can't see anything they can't.

I walked through the door of the hotel with Natasha and Rose. Rose changed back to normal and changed us back to normal. "Thanks," I said to Rose.

She smiled back at me. I walked over to the elevator and went in. It took me up to the levels with all our rooms. I got out and walked into my room. Someone was standing in there with their back to me. They turned around; it was Hermes!

He was dressed in a blue and white tracksuit. He had a head band on that that little white wings on the sides of it. His hair was blonde and his eyes were a chocolate brown. "Hey Hermes I haven't seen you in so long!" I exclaimed.

"I'm sorry it's been a month I was just busy Zeus and Ares were having a staring contest and you know how gods are with competitions," He sighed.

"Haha so who one?" I asked.

"Ares, and Zeus was not happy about it anyway I have a ne..." I cut him off with " A new mission yeah every time I see you, you have a new mission for me."

"That's not true," he stopped to think about it "Ok maybe it is."

"So what is it this time? Last time you sent us to a different planet and I ended up with a dragon," I said pointing to Moon Light.

"Cute but this one is a little closer to home."

"How close?" I asked.

"On the other side of the forest in a small town called Sharp Hill there has been a few deaths and no one can explain how they died. Everyone that has tried to find out anything about it has died," Hermes explained.

"So we have to find out what is happening?" I asked.

"I knew you would agree," He said then there was a puff of smoke and he was gone.

"Hermes!" I yelled. I didn't agree! Moon Light looked up at me.

Who is that?

"That's the Greek god Hermes and how come you didn't ask him yourself if he was here?" I asked and she didn't reply "Ok I guess I'm going to be missing more school so I'll go and call a hotel meeting."

Noah

"Gods you're heavy," I complained as I wheeled Shelly's tank into the main hall of the hotel where Sarah was holding a meeting.

"It's the water not me," said Shelly.

"Sure it is......"

She pressed her face up to the glass "Are you calling me fat?" Her blue eyes look at me with rage and her blue fish tail flicked violently.

"No....it's the water isn't it?"

"Yes that is right," she swam back into the centre of the tank.

Sarah

I stood at the front of the room in front of everyone in the hotel. They all looked so bored. Niya was trying to walk away but Nicoletta held her arm. The element group sat together all fussing with their hair. Maxina sat next to Shelly's tank with Ella and Rose. Jayson, John and Harry all sat together looking really bored. Vanessa and Heather were glaring at me. Cleo sat next to them but she was just admiring her nails. Iris and James sat at the back of the room speaking softly to each other. Devil, Natasha and Flo were sitting near where I was standing. The three devil siblings Noah, Nick and Lisa sat together. Mik and Darrel were sitting near me.... both drooling.

"Hey Sarah why are we here?" Vanessa yelled at me from across the room, bored by me clearly.

Before I could reply Cleo said "yeah I could be tending to my nails, I totally need to paint them again."

"BEEEEEEEES!!!," Niya called out.

"Ok guys just SHUT UP if you would Sarah could explain what's happening!" Devil yelled. Everyone stopped talking; they know not to mess with Devil.

"Thank you Devil, I called you all together to tell you that Hermes has a new mission for us," I explained.

"Gods another one," complained Flo.

"Yes this one is on the other side of the forest at a place called Sharp Hill. People have been dying there and the people who went to find out what happened have died too. So who's up for it?" I asked.

Devil stood up "Let's kick some human killer but!"

Mik stood up "I will protect you Sarah!"

Noah stood up but didn't say anything.

Jayson stood up "You're going to need someone to heal you."

Maxina stood up "I will make the mission 80% more awesome."

No one else stood up. I told everyone "Ok awesome guys we will leave tomorrow."
