Your pov.

"Hey Kirishima, Kaminari. Can I talk to you guys for a bit?" I asked.

"Maybe in a bit." Kaminari said.

"But-" Kirishima cut me off.

"We just need to focus on the sports festival. You understand how important it is." Kirishima said as he patted my head.

"Okay see you guys in a bit then." I said. I saw Katsuki close by, and quickly went over to him. "Katsuki, I have something important to-"

"Shut up and leave me alone!" Katsuki shouted at me.

I started to panic when I realized some other students were looking at us. I started to shake a bit.

"B-but it's-"

"Can't you see some of us are actually serious about this?! Some of us actually have a shot of being noticed! You shouldn't be here in the first place! The way you are how do you expect to be a hero?! Now just leave me alone so I can focus before I make you shut up!" He shouted at me as he walked away.

I was left alone surrounded my people mumbling and staring at me. I pinched myself so I wouldn't cry, but it didn't work. So I started to scratch my forearm so fast it started to burn a bit. When I looked at my forearm it was red. I started to take deep breaths when I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I jumped a bit startled as I quickly turned around. I saw Deku and Uraraka.

"We know it's a long shot, but want to be a part of our team?" Deku asked.

"Team for what?" I asked. "And why me? I will only be a burden for you guys."

I noticed Deku staring down at my forearm. He looked worried.

"Are you okay? What happened to your arm?" He asked as he grabbed it.

"It's nothing you shouldn't worry." I said. "But yeah I'll be a part of your team." I continued as I noticed he was still holding onto my arm.

"Alright thank you!" He said as he smiled at me and ran off.

I thought that Uraraka was going to chase after him, but she didn't.

"Did you panic?" She asked.

"I thank you guys for worrying about me, but you guys don't have to." I replied.

"Was it because Katsuki yelled at you earlier?" She asked.

I looked down and sighed then looked at her again.

"I know not many people know that I don't have a quirk. But I'm still going to try. I was allowed to have some gadgets, but I don't even want to use them. I'm going to prove that I too can become a hero." I said.

She just smiled at me, "I admire your determination. But use your gadgets when you think it's convenient for you." She said.

I just nodded my head as Deku came running back with Tokoyami.

"And now our group is complete!" He shouted. (I'm sorry for taking her out of the group.)

We got in formation holding Deku at the top. The rules were explained and everyone looked over at us. While everyone else was focused listening to the rules I tapped Uraraka on her shoulder. She looked at me and whispered in her ear to switch one of her shoes with me. She looked at me confused, but soon explained it to her.

"Are you guys ready?" Deku asked.

We all nodded as everyone started charging at us. We were in sync as we dodged multiple groups. We didn't try taking anyone else's headbands. We we're basically running and jumping around. That was until Uraraka's part of the shoe malfunctioned.

We were soon cornered by Todoroki's group. They charged at us and we dodged. I tried using my shoe for another jump, but only ended up freezing in place when I heard some people from the crowd talk about me. I looked around the arena, and I just now noticed how many eyes were on us.

"Y/n!" Deku shouted.

I snapped out of it as I saw Todoroki reaching over to us. We started running around again. But that failed because they ended up getting our headband. This round was over and Deku got off.

"I-I'm sorry." I said with a shaky voice. I started to scratch my forearm at a fast pace again.

Deku grabbed my hand as he had a smile on his face. In fact Uraraka and Tokoyami did as well.

"We still will be able to move to the next round. Tokoyami was able to snatch some from Todoroki as we got ours taken away." Deku said still holding my hand.

I fell down to my knees letting out a sigh of relief.

Time skips...

I was invited to hang out with the girls during our break. Soon to be approached by Kaminari and Mineta. They told us that all the girls had to wear cheerleading uniforms. We all looked at each other only for them to tell us that they just told us so we wouldn't get in trouble just in case we didn't know. Momo soon took us to the locker room making us all cheerleading uniforms. Everyone else was excited except for me and Jiro.

I tried to stay in the back only to be dragged to the front by Momo. I looked down as many people soon started to whistle and stare at us. We looked around and we were the only ones in cheerleading uniforms.

"Y-you mean I came out here wearing this for nothing?" I asked trying to cover myself with the pompoms Momo made us.

"Oh come on everyone it'll be fun! Besides we all look good in these uniforms anyway. Especially you y/n so don't worry to much! Let's go and cheer on our boys!" Momo shouted dragging me with her again.

I saw Kaminari laughing with Mineta. I walked over to them with a smile.

"Wow y/n you look good in that!" Mineta shouted.

"Which one of you guys came up with this idea? Cause I think it was a great idea." I said still smiling.

"Both of us came up with it actually." Mineta said.

I just laughed and they joined in as well. Then I stopped laughing and had a serious expression on my face. The both jumped back a bit.

"You are both going to pay for this just you wait." I said and was walking back to Momo.

"Wow today must be my lucky day. Not only did I get to meet an amazing person, but I also got to see her as a cheerleader." I recognized the voice and turned to see Monoma. But our faces were really close to each other's.

I quickly looked away as I felt my face heating up.

"At least I Now know that you're a part of the hero course. Not only that but you're in class 1-A. So why did your class wear these uniforms?" He said with a smirk.

"Oh well you see-" I turned to look at Mineta and Kaminari giving them a death glare. "It was a joke created by two certain people." I said.

"You know not many people are noticing you. They're only noticing the rest of your class. So many people are missing out." He said as he continued to smirk.

Gosh dang it not only is he good looking, but he has a way with words too.

"No it's better this way. I don't really like the attention anyway. It's better to be alone in my opinion. Cause if I'm alone people won't have any expectations for me." I said.

"Well how about we make a deal?" He asked.

"Oh a deal? I'm liking what I'm hearing. What's the deal?" I said.

"If you win the sports festival I'll take you out to get ice cream." He said.

I was now very intrigued.

"Ice cream you say?" I asked.

"And I'll pay for it." He said.

"You mean you are willing to take me to get something cold, amazing, something that has multiple flavors?" I asked. I felt myself jumping out of joy. He just chuckled.

"Only if you win." He said.

"You got yourself a deal!" I shouted. I smiled as I kept jumping. "Oh boy I'm actually going to be able to taste ice cream for the first time!" I shouted.

"You've never had ice cream before?" He asked confused.

"Nope. My auntie said that it could soon lead to me getting bad health." I said.

"Well let's make sure your aunt doesn't find out." He said.

"Yay!" I shouted.

Katsuki's pov.

I was looking around bored when I noticed y/n talking to that copy cat. I felt angry for some reason seeing her so happy with him. Why does it bother me? I don't care about her. She can go to hell just like everyone else for all I care.

Your pov.

All the students walked off the field and went to sit at certain places. I got changed and followed Momo. At sat near the far end of the first row near the wall to concentrate.

"Hey y/n. Your family must be very proud of you. You don't have a quirk yet you made it this far in the sports festival." Jiro said.

"Yeah they must be super proud! Have you called them, or have they called you?" Mineta asked.

I started fidgeting with my fingers. "My family?" I asked.

I stood up and walked out of our assigned balcony. As I started to walk around. I never made anyone proud. So even if auntie found out it would mean nothing.
