Your pov.

Age 3...

"Wake up! It's time to continue your training you little brat!"

"I-I don't feel good." I replied shaking.

"Did I ask if you were feeling well?! Get up!"

I slowly started getting up, but that wasn't fast enough for him. He grabbed me by my hair, and started dragging me out of my room. I screamed in pain, but that just made him hold on tighter. Tears formed in my eyes. But this had to be normal, right? He shoved me in a closet, and I started to bang on the door shouting. But as soon as I was quiet I just heard them both argue with each other. I grabbed the handle, and slid the door open a bit.

"I don't want to be with you, or that monster of a child!! I will never call her my daughter, and I will never call you my husband!! So just let me go!" She shouted.

"I don't care if you call my creation daughter or not, but you will stay here no matter what!" He shouted back.

I got up opened the door more, and tried escaping. But that failed. I was caught by him, and beaten.

End of dream...

I screamed as I woke up. I stood up and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Once I was finished taking a shower I walked to the kitchen. I prepared myself a cup of tea, and looked at the clock for the time. It was only midnight, yet I still didn't want to go back to sleep.

Time skip...

I changed into my uniform and headed out he door. This had to be one of the earliest times I've decided to go to school. I just hope that today we do something that helps me get my mind off the dream.

My walk to school was peaceful. I'm usually rushed, but not today. I was even able to make a quick stop at a small store. It was really cheap, so cheap that I was able to buy four sodas, 3 bags of small doughnuts, and a bag of candy. I hardly get to have any of this stuff because we usually try to save up, but also because auntie says that it's very bad for my health.

I get to school with a small smile on my face because of the food I was able to get earlier. I waited in the class, and soon everyone started walking in. Kirishima soon walked in, and Kaminari walked in with some small guy a couple minutes after.

"Well someone looks extra happy today." Kaminari said as he walked over. The small guy following behind him.

I eagerly clapped, and jumped in my seat a bit for joy. "I'm very happy!" I said.

I stood up from my seat to show them how happy I was, but I soon felt someone touch my behind. I froze and slowly looked to see the small guy hugging my leg, poking my behind, with drool coming out of his mouth. He started mumbling, and I screamed. Everyone soon looked and saw him.

"Dude what the heck?! Let her go!" Kirishima shouted.

I tried to shake him off, feeling very uncomfortable. I saw someone grab his face, and pull him away.

"That's enough you little good for nothing perv!" Kacchan shouted.

Kacchan ended up letting him go, and I quickly ran behind him.

"You are such a creep!" Ponytail girl said.

Everyone started yelling, and scolding him. I just kept my distance as they did. The door opened, and we all quickly took a seat.

"Alright everyone we are going to have train today. But it won't be here. We'll be going to a off campus facility. It's up to you whether you bring your costumes or not." Aizawa said.

After he said that he started to take role. This time I was paying attention to the names, and who they looked like. We all stood up after he took role, so we can change in our costumes. As usual I was the person at the very end. I was very tired. As I was walking a girl passed by.

"Hey are you apart of 1-A?" She asked.

I just nodded.

"Is it true that there's a quirkless person in your class?" She asked.

I nodded again.

"Really? Who? I can't believe we are suppose to call a quirkless person a hero. Talk about getting your dreams shredded, am I right?" She said as she laughed a bit.

"I-I'm the quirkless person you're t-talking about." I said.

She immediately stopped, and suddenly she gave me a disgusted look.

"We're suppose to be safe with you as a hero?" She asked getting closer to me, but I just stepped back. "You're a useless nobody. What can you possibly do to save others?" I started to panic as I felt the wall on my back. "You have such a pathetic dream. What can you offer? Who's going to want a quirkless sidekick? Nobody." I covered my ears, and started to hyperventilate as I shook my head closing my eyes shut.

"P-please s-stop." I said quietly as I continued covering my ears, hyperventilating, and shaking my head.

"What kind of hero can't stand up for themselves? I mean just look at how you are. It disgusts me. Everyone in your class probably just feels bad for you, you're just going to be dead weight for them. Not only that, but you're taking the spot of someone who can actually be a hero, someone that actually has a quirk." She continued.

I put my head down so my forehead was touching the floor, and my hair was covering my face. "I-I wished for so long to not wake up every morning. D-do you want me start wishing that again? I-I'll try t-to put peoples e-expectations on me again. I w-want to change everything about me s-since as long as I can remember. I-I'm sorry for m-making you waste your time on me. I-I don't deserve anyone's a-attention. In fact I-I don't want attention. P-please just leave me alone." I said. My eyes widened as soon as I said that, and I closed them again. Why the hell did I say that?

"You're right. Not worth anyone's time." She said.

I know I should leave, and I want to. But I can't feel my body. I slowly opened my eyes to see if she was gone, but she wasn't. I saw her lifting up her hand, and flinched thinking she was going to hit me. She looked at me confused as she was only going to fix her hair. She let out s burst of laughter as she figured out why I flinched.

"You thought I was going to hit you?" She asked still laughing. "You're such an idiot." She continued and kept laughing.

I tried covering my ear more, but I can still hear her. Tears filled my eyes as I tried to calm down, but couldn't.

"Hey, don't you have somewhere to be? Leave her alone." She suddenly looked scared, and quickly left.

I didn't bother to look. I soon saw Kirishima and Kaminari in front of me then suddenly Kacchan as well. For some reason seeing them made me feel better. Tears ran down my cheeks as I saw them. They were already in their p.e. clothes. Soon Momo came as well. I'm surprised I remembered her name.

"Don't worry y/n we're here now." Kirishima said.

"Yeah you were the only one who wasn't there yet, and then the girls realized that they didn't see you in the locker room. So we decided to come looking for you." Kaminari said.

"Come on y/n I'll walk you to the locker room." Momo said.

They all helped me up. I put one of my hands over my mouth in a zero formation, and opened my lips a bit to help me regulate my breathing, and with the other hand I hit my thigh so I can focus on it, and not what happened. Momo created a paper bag, and handed it to me.

"Here try using this. It works better." She said.
As I took the paper bag, and tried to regulate my breathing using it. It started to work, and soon I started to calm down. "Feeling better?" She asked as we entered the locker room.

"Y-yes thank you." I said.

I walked to my locker and started to change.

Kacchan's pov.

Earlier...

We're all here waiting by the bus when all the girls walk out. I was talking to Kirishima, and for some reason Kaminari. All three of us looked toward the girls. For some reason I was looking for y/n. But we didn't see her. We kept looking in that direction for 5 more minutes, but she still didn't come out.

"Hey do you girls know where y/n is?" Kirishima asked.

"No, actually I don't think I saw her in the locker room." The spiky ponytail girl said.

And for some reason I started feeling worried.

"Guess we have to go look for her." I said a bit annoyed.

"It's a surprise that you want to help someone." Kaminari said.

"The hell did you just say?!" I shouted.

Kaminari quickly put his hands up in defense, "Nothing." He said with a toothy grin.

Soon Kaminari, Kirishima, and I started walking towards the school when the ponytail girl started following us.

"I'll help you guys look for her as well." She said.

We continued to walk, and stopped by the locker room first. The ponytail girl walked inside, and as she came back out she shook her head. We walked towards the classroom when we started hearing voices. We stopped by a corner when we saw a girl talking to y/n. We all continued to watch, and listen. As the other girl kept talking, everything she said towards y/n made me angry for some reason. But it's what y/n said that shocked me.

"I-I wished for so long to not wake up every morning. D-do you want me start wishing that again? I-I'll try t-to put peoples e-expectations on me again. Why would she think she isn't worth anyone's time? I started having a weird feeling inside me, and couldn't hold back anymore.

"Hey, don't you have somewhere to be? Leave her alone." I said, and soon the other three stood behind me. She looked scared and ran off. We all went over to y/n, and she started crying.

Momo took y/n to the locker room for her to change. Kirishima, Kaminari, and I walked to the bus and sat down. Why did I care so much about her? I shouldn't care about anyone, and I never have. But for some reason now, did I actually care about her?

Your pov.

"You know Momo, you give me a mother vibes." I said.

"R-really?" She asked as we walked towards the bus.

I nodded my head, "Oh! Please don't think of it in a bad way. Mothers are leaders for younger children in a way, so if you think about what I mean in that many of us look up to a lot of you with how cool you guys are." I soon gave up, and looked down. "Oh never mind I probably made it worse." I said.

"No actually I understand what you mean." She said as she got in the bus.

I started getting in as well at let out a sigh of relief. I looked around, and noticed that the only seat available was next to Kacchan. I looked at him, and then at the empty seat. He looked away annoyed as he nodded his head. I sat down, and looked at Kirishima, Kacchan, and Kaminari.

"Umm... thank you, and I'm sorry." I said.

"You're welcome y/n." Kaminari said.

"Yeah don't sweat it." Kirishima said.

Kacchan looked at me annoyed. "Tch... whatever." He said.

I looked for Momo, and she smiled softly at me. I smiled back. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and looked at Kacchan.

"Don't ever think you're a waste of time. And don't say or think any of that stuff again." He whispered in my ear.

My eyes widened as I looked at him.

"Y-you guys heard that?" I asked.

"Why do you think I told you that?" He asked.

"O-okay I'll try." I said.

"If you ever need someone to talk to. I'm here." He said.

Then I remembered the time he told me that. I smiled, and he surprisingly smiled back. He had such a nice smile.

"You should smile more often." I said.

"Shut up." He said as his smile vanished, and he looked away.

I pouted a bit, but ended up laughing. My eyes started feeling heavy, so I feel asleep.

Kacchan's pov.

I felt something on my shoulder, only to see y/n asleep on my shoulder. I wanted to move or push her, but deep down inside I wanted her to stay asleep on my shoulder. What the heck? What is this feeling? Wait actually she looks really pretty, and peaceful when she's sleeping. What am I even thinking?
