Your pov.

"Y/n!" I heard someone shout.

Me and Ace both stopped in our tracks as we looked back. I saw Kacchan holding a piece of paper.

"Oh, Kacchan, what's up?" I said.

"Aizawa said this is for you. Something about the internship." He handed me the paper and I took it.

"Internship?" Ace asked.

"I didn't really think it was important so I didn't say anything. I doubt someone was going to be interested in me. After all I'm quirk less." I said as they both stayed silent. "Anyways thank you Kacchan. See you tomorrow." I continued as I started walking.

Ace's pov.

Y/n started walking but I stayed still. I looked from the corner of my eye, and saw the guy she called Kacchan was watching her walk away as well.

"I wonder, where you forced to give it to her or did you volunteer?" I asked.

"Why would I willingly come after her? Even if it had something to do with school I wouldn't volunteer to help anyone out, not even her. So don't get it twisted." He said as he started walking away.

"So you wouldn't mind if someone else came and tried to get with her? Like that blonde guy she told me about that took her out the other day. Not you of course, but the guy that copied your quirk. Or maybe I can take her, after all don't childhood best friends have more of a chance? Of course that's many people think." I said.

"Tch, I don't care do whatever you want." He said as he walked away.

Your pov.

Time skips...

"So what's the paper say?" Ace asked once we got to the house.

"I'm not really sure." I said.

As I was about to read it, there was a knock at the door. I walked to the door and opened it. It was my aunts friend.

"Hey there." She said.

"Hey." I replied.

"So did you get the letter?" She asked.

"What letter?" I asked confused. I don't think I got a letter from her.

"The one about your internship silly. I had to pull some strings to make sure you were interning with me." She said with a smile.

I looked at the letter in my hand, "you do understand this isn't a work internship right?" I asked looking at the letter in my hand and back at her.

"Pft, of course I know. Which is why I will give you some hours throughout the day to train with some of my connections. People of all sorts." She said. "But of course you'll also be working when you aren't training." She continued.

"Oh alright I guess." I said.

"I'm coming too though right?" Ace asked as he suddenly appeared from behind me. "I knew it was your voice I heard from the kitchen!" He said.

"Of course you can come! Well I'll see you both tomorrow!" She said as she waved and left.

I closed the door and looked at Ace. "Are you sure you want to work?" I asked.

"Sure, why not?" He said as he walked back into the kitchen.

Next day...

It is the day of our internship. We grab our suits and leave to the train station. We were told where to go and each took the train to get to our destination.

Time skips...

I got to my station and got off the train. This is the place right? I never really used the train before. I started walking when I felt a familiar presence. I looked next to me and saw Ace.

"Time to explore." He said and I grabbed onto his arm.

"We aren't going to explore. Now try and see if you can find-" I was cut off.

"Glad to see you two made it safe!" I heard the familiar voice shout. I jumped a bit and felt like my heart was going to stop. "Awe, sorry sweetie I didn't mean to scare you. I thought you would've gotten use to it by now. Apparently not especially since there are so many people." She said as she started walking.

"So exactly what are we going to do at your club?" Ace asked as we followed her.

"Why you can be a bartender, and she can be a waitress in the mean time." She replied.

As we continued walking we soon stood in front of a building. She smiled as she turned to look at us.

"Here it is! Come on in!" She said walking inside.

We continued to follow her and the inside seemed dark. There were lights and lamps, but not bright enough fill the entire room. There was music playing loud as there were few customers. But mainly all the other workers were hanging out.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you all to our two new workers! Ace and Y/n." She said.

All the workers looked at our direction and I got closer to Ace in a bit of panic.

"They're so adorable!" A girl with short curly blonde hair said. "I'm Tania, nice to meet ya." She said as she walked towards us and stuck out her hand. We both shook her hand.

"Oh that's right. Three people said that they won't be able to make it the rest of the week at the club in Hosu City." A man said.

"How about me and the two new kids go?" Tania asked.

"I am suppose to be there this week, so I guess it's fine." She replied.

"Great! We'll show them the ropes here that way they can be ready for tomorrow." Tania said as the workers separated both me and Ace to help us get use to it.

Next day...

We woke up early in the morning to catch the train to Hosu City. When we got there I was still a bit tired so Ace gave me a piggyback ride, and took my suitcase for me as well.

Time skips...

I had some free time, so I was introduced to a hero that helped me with my hand to hand combat.

A couple days later...

"You lost so you have to go get us our food and supplies!" Tania shouted.

Everyone laughed as I walked out of the building shaking my head. I walked to a store a couple blocks down.

Time skips...

I left the store and started making my way back. That was until suddenly I heard screaming and people running around panicked. I looked around and saw creatures everywhere. I started to run trying to make my way back as fast as possible. I stopped in my tracks when I saw one of those creatures a couple buildings down. I ran into the nearest alley and dropped my bags.
