I want to talk about the cover and summary of the book first in this review. I liked the cover of the book because of the fact that it was hand drawn and I felt like it was unique in that sense because it definitely felt like an adventure novel. I also liked the summary as well and thought it told you what it was about without giving too much away.

Next up I want to talk about grammar errors. I didn't really see any grammar errors in the book and it didn't really affect the story too much.

I also want to quickly mention that although I liked the prologue, I wish it was a bit longer since I felt like it just stopped mid way or something and felt like more could have been added to it to make more interesting and that it wouldn't have felt like we were just left hanging there, wondering what happened to the servants were out looking for them.

The next thing, I want to talk about is the settings. I liked how you added pictures of certain scenes in the book which made the story more interesting but I wish you also described a bit more of the settings as well. I know that adding pictures in the book can help visualize the setting, but again I wished you had described it as well cause you had described it earlier in the story but then added a picture soon after describing it. Although I did like the pictures, I also felt like it wasn't always necessary to have pictures in every single chapter since sometimes it's good just to describe something without having a picture in every single chapter.

Okay, I also want to talk about the pacing and plot of the story as well as the characters since they kind of all tie into what I want to say about them. First let's talk about the plot of the book. I like the plot and think it's interesting but I do feel like it's moving a bit too fast. Since by the time it's like chapter 4 or chapter 5, the main character already has the sword that is needed to save the royal family and the country.

The pacing like the plot, I felt like was moving too fast as well, since by the time it's like chapter 5, we already in the next town and have the majority of what seems to be happening so far in the story. I would have liked to see more spread out over the course of the story and have the world more added on to as the character was traveling the country since he's supposed to be saving the royal family from this evil witch. Since so far everything is explained not really shown in the book and if it is described, there's normally a picture to show a certain scene on the next page.

Now finally I will talk about the characters and what I've read about them so far. In all honesty, I felt like there wasn't much to the characters other than the background that was mentioned for them so far in the book. Plus, I felt like we could have gotten more of the relationship between the main hero of the story and his family cause we only got like a chapter with him interacting with his parents and he just leaves after hearing about the royal family being missing from his dad. Which I also felt like the dad was more of a plot device to help move the story along and didn't really interact with his son. The mom was supportive enough I guess but even then I also wished I got more of her as well cause it would have shown how much more the main character really wanted help his parents by saving the royal family. Plus I wish I got to see more of his village and the full extent of what state it was actually in to make me actually care enough about it and root for the main character.

There's also another thing that I want to bring up in this review before I end it and that is the fact that I liked how it inspired by anime but it is obvious that you were inspired by anime tv shows which isn't a bad thing but you do have to keep in mind that tv and books are two different mediums of entertainment and that sometimes translating something like a book to tv doesn't always go well or in this case, a book. Now it's not to say that this book is bad. It isn't and it has the potential to be better than what it already is and to be a good book. But you do have to keep in mind how certain things can be translated across different mediums. Especially different tropes that are used not just in tv but in books as well. Which is a difficult thing to do in of itself but still nonetheless, I felt like this was something I needed to bring up as well.

Overall, it's a decent story and I would recommend it to anyone who loves reading books like it. But it does need a bit more work though.

Thanks for letting me review your book.
