[ 9 ] physical exams (part two)
The day of the physical exams, Kennedy was sitting in her fourth hour freshman english class, with Louis and Harry sitting next to her. Her teacher was at the front of the class, going over the famous plays of Shakespeare, when she was interrupted by the voice of an administrator on the speaker in the classroom. "Physical examinations will now begin. Will all students please report to the East Wing of the Hannon Building? Make sure to have all your paperwork ready."
Kennedy, along with the rest of the students, got up from their seats and gathered their things. Slowly, they piled out of the class room and walked towards the next building where the examinations would take place.
She and the two brothers walked slowly, staying at the end of the group. Each of them carried a manila folder with their medical information in their hand. As they got closer to the examination room, Kennedy wondered aloud, "So...how are we going to do this?"
Finding her question funny, Harry replied, "Its just a regular medical check-up." He assured her.
"Yeah," Lou agreed, "Just because we're rich doesn't mean we get treated a different way."
A smile tugged at the corners of Kennedy's lips as she thought of the sillyness of her question. "You're right." She told them. "Why would a medical exam here be any different than one at the clinic?"
But she was proved wrong when the double doors opened up and she saw an endless line of nurses and doctors, all with smiling faces. "Welcome." The physicians said in unison.
Kennedy felt her eyes widen at the sight of everything. Each student immediately went to their respective doctor, while Kennedy had no idea where to go. She stood there, with the two brothers, until a young nurse approahced them with a polite smile. "Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson?" She asked, making sure they were the millionaire step-brothers. They both nodded. "Follow me. You can go behind those curtains to change out of your uniforms so I can take your measurements."
Louis shook his head, already slipping out of his uniform blazer and undoing his tie in front of the rest of the students who were being greeted by their doctors. Harry immediately did that same. "I don't mind changing here." The blue eyed boy with brown hair informed the nurse.
Harry added, "We're not shy."
The brunette dressed in a boys uniform watched the two boys in embarrassment. On one side of the vast room were the two fourth year boys. But instead of being dressed in their school uniform, they wore a white doctor's lab coat. There were serious expressions on their faces that turned to smiles when Kennedy approached them.
"What are you guys doing?" She asked.
Like a shadow, always silent, Calum walked up behind her. "Its all part of the plan." He informed the first year student. "Ashton and Niall are our plan B though. Luke thought they should wear costumes because it would make the whole thing more official."
Kennedy sighed. "Once again, I can't help but question you guys and your plans."
"This one will work." Calum assured her, like he knew something the rest didn't.
A nurse tapped Kennedy on the shoulder to get her attention. "Mr. Lynn, please follow me. I'm going to be taking your measurements." The freshman student followed the nurse with a nod. She was taken to the back of a long line of cubicles separated by curtains. She pulled one aside and told her, "Please remove your blazer and shirt. I'll be back in a few minutes." She smiled.
When she left, Kennedy stood there, still unaware of what she should do. She slowly pulled her black school blazer off, black was the blazer that represented the freshman class. Her nervous fingers went to undo the buttons on her long white shirt.
Just as she was four buttons down, the curtain was opened again, this time by a second year student wearing a dark grey second year school blazer. "I came to save your life, my Kennedy." He said dramatically. She watched him in confusion and he began to undress before her, taking his school blazer and then uniform shirt off. From his school pants pocket he retrieved a dark haired wig that he fixed on his head. "I'll protect you." He assured Kennedy.
The club president stepped in front of her and pulled the curtain aside. There, were other students waiting for their turn at the medical exams. Girls who visited the host club craned their necks to get a glimpse of a sihrtless Kennedy Lynn.
But they were left confused when they saw Luke.
"What is he trying to do?" A girl murmured.
"I'm Kennedy Lynn." Luke announced. It was evident that no one believed him.
"Is he trying to play a joke?"
"Where's Kennedy?"
Everyone around them was only muttering. The first ones to really speak up were Harry and Louis, whose words were intermingled with their laughs. "I can't believe he actually did it." Louis doubled over in laughter.
"I didn't think he was stupid enough to think he could look like Kennedy." Harry joined in. "For one, he didn't even try to hide his blue eyes. Kennedy has brown eyes."
Luke fumed angrily, pointing an accusing finger at the two freshman step-brothers. "You guys said the plan would work!"
"Well we lied." Louis continued laughing.

The night before in the club room at Empire Academy...
"All of this is starting to feel like a romantic comedy story." Kennedy sighed as she eyed the white board that was completely filled with words and drawings of a confusing plan Luke had in mind. In front of her, on the wooden table was a plate filled with delicious food she had never tried before, but smelled delicious.
She couldn't believe she was letting herself become bribed by Luke into participating in the plan. Like all things, she was sure people would find out sooner or later that she was actually a girl.
But her club mates didn't want anyone to find out.
Luke grinned at her comment. "That's it! This is all just a romantic commedy and we're all the main characters." He announced. "That means everything will probably work out until the author decides its time for you to be a girl again."
"Okay." Kennedy scoffed. "You're crazy."
"No." The blonde shook his head. "Kennedy and I are the main characters, which means we'll proably end up together in the end. We are destined to fall in love."
Kennedy's face contorted at the thought. "No thank you."
Luke immediately seemed offended that she was rejecting the idea of falling in love with him. "What about us?" Ashton asked innocently.
"You are all..." Luke began with a grin, "the homosexual supporting cast."
"What?" The rest of the boys said in unison.
"There are no love interests for you in this story. Sorry." Luke stated. Turning back towards the plan written on the white board, he asked his mates, "Tell me the truth, men. Do you think this plan is flawed?"
Kennedy nodded, "I think this plan is complete bs."
"You," Luke smiled at her, "Are not a man, Kennedy. Besides, I know you don't trust any of my genius plans. You hardly ever agree with anything we do, which is why I would rather just not hear your opinion. You'll bring down the mood in the club room." He joked.

"You called us homosexual." Harry said, trying to catch his breath and holding his sides which hurt from all the laughing. "We just needed to get our revenge."
"And you too, Calum?" Luke looked to his friend, his cheeks reddened with embarrassment because his plan hadn't worked. He pulled the wig off his head, revealing his golden blonde hair and threw the wig at the raven haired host club member. "Why did you let me come out here and make an ass of myself?"
Calum smiled, looking as though he was struggling to contain his laughter. Shrugging, he told his friend, "I don't think I'm part of the supporting cast." Looking down at his cellphone, he added, "But I do have a plan B for Kennedy's medical exam."
