Chapter 2.

"Hei, poika.", said an unknown voice. Blake looked around confused. He looked in front of him to see if Rosemary was there, she wasn't. Instead of Rose, it was his mother. His eyes widened as he got up. "Äiti!", he said happily. She smiled and trotted to him as they put one head against the other. They laughed. "Minä kaipasin sinua."

"Niin minäkin."

Later on they walked around the crystal-like lake, enjoying one another's company. They chatted and chatted. Blake's smile turned to a saf look and his mom noticed it. "Mikä nyt mättää?", she asked.

He looked at her. "Why did you leave, mom?", he replied. Her ears went back and sighed. "I wanted to see the outside of stables. . . .", she answered. She was rusty when it came to speaking English. She continued, "I'm sorry, to leave you with humans." He shook his head. "It's alright. I'm just glad to see you.", he smiled. She turned her head towards the lake. "Something's wrong. . .", she said with an concerned look on her face. He tilted his head. "What? Why?", he asked. All of a sudden he heard barking coming from across the lake. There stood a group a wolves along with a black cat. The wolves growled and barked at them. Before Blake could say a word, heard a voice. It was Rosemary's.

He turned his head and saw her across from the lake quivering with something around her neck, it was a rope. "B-Blake, H-Help me.", she stuttered. His eyes widened in complete shock. The black cat saw his reaction and smiled maliciously. It turned it's head towards Rosemary, who was very vulnerable and scared. It's waved it's paw. "There's lunch.", It said. All the wolves responded to the demand and ran towards Rosemary. "Ruusu-!"

He woke up gasping for air. He coughed and looked around. There was no cat, no wolves, no one except Rosemary sleeping next to the same tree he saw her at. He sighed in relieved that she was okay. But, he felt nervous and uncomfortable for some reason. So, he got up, walked to Rosemary, and laid down next to her. He didn't want to go back to sleep after that nightmare. To distract him from the nightmare, he looked at the sky for the sun to rise.

Blake was up against Rosemary asleep. He couldn't manage staying up till sunrise, so he went to sleep. Rosemary woke up from her even not realizing that Blake was next to her. She felt the cold air brush up on her face. When she got to walk to the lake, she tripped on Blake. "Oi! Watch it!", she said with as she got up. Blake slowly woke up from his slumber and groaned. "What. .?", he answered in confusion. Rosemary gasped and walked up to him. "Blake, is that you??"

He yawned. "No, I'm a magical fairy."

"Love the sarcasm, mate. . . ."

"No problem."

She scoffed and began walking off. Blake looked at her confused and got up to follow her. "Where is she going?", he thought to himself. She suddenly stopped at a berry bush and took 2 or 5 sticks full of berries. "Ahem."

Rosemary paused and turned her head to a different direction again. He sighed. "Wrong direction."

She turned her head towards him With a blank expression. Then, she asked, "Uhhh. . . Want some berries?"

"Nah. I'm good.", he answered.

She shrugged and put down the berries before walking the other direction. There she was heading to a farm he's never seen before. "Ruusu, where are you going?", he asked. She stopped again and turned her head, " Ruusu? What does that mean?? "

"It's Finnish. It means Rose."

"Oh, cool."

Rosemary turned her head back and got back to walking. After a few steps she stopped not that far from the fence and waited. Blake followed and waited there confused. "I'm just waiting for a friend. If your wondering."

"Okay."

So they waited. . . . in pure silence.

Rosemary started coughing. "You okay?" , he asked with a concerned look on his face. Once again, he saw black rose petals leaving her mouth as she coughed. She let out her last coughs and nodded. He looked at a house next to the farm. "Stay here, okay?", he asked. She nodded and laid down, slowly drifting off to sleep. "She looks so cute while she's asleep– Argh! What am I thinking?!", he thought to himself as he shook his head. He trotted to the house and neighed loudly at the door hoping for a response. An unknown voice calls from the other side of the door. "Who's there?!" , the voice yelled.

Blake neighed again. Whoever was there, had dogs because he heard barks coming from behind the door. The random person opened the door and looked up at Blake. The person was an old man and next to him was a small German shepherd and a tall Belgian sheepdog. The sheepdog have Blake a glare while the pup was by him fascinated with his tail waging. "What's wrong, pal?" , the man asked. Blake walked away trying to lead the man and their dogs to Rosemary. The man followed him confused and looked at his dogs that were also confused. Blake stopped right next to Rosemary and looked at them. The sheepdog walked towards her, sniffed her, then walked back to where the little german shepherd is. The old man tapped her muzzle to wake her up. Rose shook her head and yawned. He tapped her again. "C'mon, kiddo. Follow my voice." , he said in a calm, gentle tone. Rose stood up and shook her head. The man began to whistle as he turned around and walked to the farm. The dogs and Blake followed behind. In the farm, the man had Rosemary in a stable with hay next to her. He then looked at Blake and lead him to the next stable. "Night, horses." , he said (Even tho it's the afternoon). After that, he walked away with the dogs. There, Rosemary and Blake slept through the afternoon. . . . .
