☆53. Foreshadowing The Marriage☆
*Three weeks later*
"Hope!?" Jin called while opening the door of Hoseok's bedroom to face a dark living room. He switched on the lights to find the room vacant.
"He is still not home" A man who walked after Jin, mentioned. "That's enough. You have kept asking for time to find him but it's been more than two weeks and you are unable to do so. I have to take this matter to boss now"
"Don't involve him into it... he hasn't run away. Probably he... I don't know" Jin sighed while grabbing his hair and looking around. "If boss does anything wrong with Hoseok once he will be found, I'm going to kill you" Jin threatened.
"If he hasn't run away on his own then why you are sweating?" The man questioned. "Mike isn't recovered yet to help, manager-nim can't help either but to yell at us to find him and we two people can't search the whole city for him. We are talking about boss's sugar here! Boss has to be involved now. All we have to do is to not let him know that it's been three weeks or else he will kill us right then and there" The man insisted and Jin just looked away with a thick gulp.

"So... I am the journalist?" Jimin talked while looking at himself into the mirror, wearing a red sparkling shirt over black jeans. His bruises were treated and gone.
"Yes" Jungkook replied while walking around holding a suit in his hand when they both were in an elite clothing store.
"My best friend is missing since ages and you said you will use your sources to find him but..."
"Well... I don't like this one" Jungkook shook his head while looking at Jimin's attire, ignoring Jimin's words. Making Jimin to remember that his current issues.
"Mr. Jeon, there will be a lot of rich shit and I don't even know how to talk to them, my language is not that filtered either and I don't even know how to chew my food without voice... I..."
"How about this one?" Jungkook asked instead while showing a red suit in a clear plastic cover, cutting Jimin off and Jimin just rolled his eyes.
"I don't like this either, it is beautiful but it isn't looking like what I want" Jungkook wondered instead while looking through the attires and Jimin crossed his arms over his chest with a sigh.
"Why it is important for me to go? I won't fit in... what if somebody recognize me? Before you, I had many customers until I start running away with you every night. Mr. Jeon, why you aren't taking this seriously?" Jimin walked after Jungkook who just took out some other bags of clothes but ended up throwing them into the store consultant's arms, not satisfied.
"I'm not going to chance for the twelfth time" Jimin narrated with an unamused face and Jungkook just walked around the whole outlet with the consultant following him until something caught Jungkook's attention and he paused to look at it.
"I'm not going to eat anything there, or talk, or walk, or breathe. And if I won't breathe how can I stay alive? If I won't breath, I won't stay alive, if I won't stay alive, I will die and if I will die, how will you marry me anyways? If you won't marry me how I will shop for my wedding dress? And If I won't be able to shop for my wedding dress the way I have dreamed since my childhood, I won't even give you a hand of the baby you want. So, let's avoid it and go there alone without me" Jimin stated in a single breath while using so many of his hands gestures and Jungkook just massaged his own ear while checking the clothes bag he was enchanted by.
"Maybe this is what I was looking for but in a wrong way" Jungkook smirked and Jimin frowned with curiosity.

Lixue was standing on a staircase of a hall filled with people, in a blue denim shirt and black pants. Her arms crossed and her hair tied in a braid when she was watching all the people wearing formal attire, enjoying themselves.
"Lixue, what on earth? You told me you will be a little late but seriously what did change?" Her husband complained while walking towards her. "You are wearing the same clothes you were wearing at home, you didn't even... make your hair...,"
"I want to go home" She cut him off.
"I actually never feel like I didn't raise a child because of you"
"This place is filled with those morons. I didn't want to attend this event or any event involving Jeons but you never stop forcing me to do so" Lixue complained.
"I'm the Mayor of the city. I was invited and I had to be here. Only because Jeon family is invited it doesn't mean I have to stay away" Mr. Park tried to explain.
"是的,反正這個地方是為白痴準備的 (Yeah, this place was for morons anyways)" Lixue scoffed.
"So, I am a moron"
"I don't know if your Chinese is that bad or my Korean" Lixue muttered while rolling her eyes.
"Your Korean is bad. Go and meet around. Everyone is looking at you with their concern eyes, ten more minutes and your photo will be published in the morning under a statement ending with question marks, you are a famous woman of South Korea, you can't sulk here and act like you aren't here"
"Korain"
"Lixue"
"要我跟他們打招呼嗎?(You want me to greet them?). 絕不 (Never)"
"為了媒體,是的 (For the media, yes). Everyone already wonders why I hate them so much" Mr. Park was instructing until he saw Jungkook's father with his grandfather.
Jungkook's grandfather walked away with a few people while Jungkook's father walked up to Mr. Park.
"Good evening, Mr. Park" Jungkook's father greeted with a smile when Lixue wasn't facing him, making her eyes to widened at the voice as she swiftly walked a few steps ahead until she was behind her husband. "And Mrs. Park?" Jungkook's father added with a sarcastic smile while looking at Lixue with a tilted head and Lixue didn't even reciprocate the smile as she hugged Mr. Park's torso while looking away.
"我会马上回来我的爱" (I will be right back soon, my love)" Lixue stated as she pecked Mr. Park's cheek and walked away. Feeling Mr. Jeon's eyes following her.
"Detective Chan" Lixue mentioned as she walked down the staircase to find him wandering around in a black suit with his girlfriend tug along his arm. "What are you doing here?"
"It is a part of the deal, for solving this case I have to be everywhere I should be but... I don't think we should be seen together infront of Jeon Jong-Soo" Detective Chan mentioned, looking straight at Jungkook's father who was busy talking to Mr. Park but was looking them occasionally.
"She is detective Ming Ray, she is in my team on this case" Chan introduced his girlfriend.
"Don't mind me. Haven't you find out my son yet?" She asked while holding his girlfriend's arm as if she was talking to her but didn't even hear her name.
"I'm working on it but it is not that easy to figure out 23 years old public CCTV footages. I have asked my lab to do it but we haven't recovered the storage..."
"One week more. If you can't find him in a week, please be off of this right away and stop showing me your face" Mrs. Park adviced as she stepped closer to Chan. "But then... you will have to deal with a completely new Park Lixue who will ruin your life and career all at once" She emphasized. "Then she won't be tug along you either" Mrs. Park patted the back of Chan's girlfriend who just looked at him and then at her, dumbfoundedly watching Lixue walking away from them and Chan just loosened his tie.
While Namjoon was leaned on a wall right beside them, not facing the now alone couple until Detective Chan happened to walk passed him and flinched for a second.
"You have a really good habit of overhearing people, Attorney Kim" Detective Chan stated and Namjoon just snickered.
"Thank you"
"No wonder why you are always alone in gatherings"
"They fear I will take everyone over" Namjoon shrugged and Detective Chan just scoffed while walking ahead, making his girlfriend to follow him.
"What it is between you two?" Namjoon mumbled to himself while looking at Lixue and then at Jungkook's dad. "If Lixue was the one helping in the acting in those videos then, Mr. Jeon should be the one hating her and avoiding her. But, here, she seemed to be really hating him. Maybe because he refused to help when the blackmailer killed her sons or maybe because he was the one sending someone to kill her sons? She seem to rather fear him than to hate him" Namjoon keened his eyes at Mr. Jeon who was a floor up, talking to Mr. Park.
"An alone attorney can never be beneficial for mental health but still, I don't know where to go else" Namjoon heard as he saw Suga leaning beside him in a black suit.
"I'm not alone. I'm actually stuffed with snakes" Namjoon replied with his hands in his emerald green pants' pockets. "Tell me about yourself, what do you think, you can keep that bartender by force with you and nobody will know since he has no legal birth record?"
"How did you...? I'm doing everything for Jungkook"
"Liar. You had already told Jungkook that his boss told him to steal those pens but still you are keeping that boy in your penthouse since weeks. That's a crime, Min" Namjoon told him.
"And it has nothing to do with you. That boy himself is alive against the rules of law with no legal identity, no one will be bothered even if he spend rest of his life with me"
"Kosan will be bothered. Have heard he was really dear to him"
"He was virgin. He was totally inexperienced" Suga emphasized with a snicker.
"There are many means of attachment. Probably, Kosan never had touched him but don't you think he is too beautiful to just keep close to eyes?" Namjoon asked while facing Suga this time.
"You are better off alone" Suga scoffed while walking away leaving Namjoon alone as he was before.

Jungkook stepped out of his car before any well-dressed valet could open the car's door for him.
Under the lights and cameras of press being scooped away by the security, in a black tuxedo with no tie and red rose tuck on the front pocket Jungkook walked around the car rushingly and opened the door of the passenger's seat, giving his hand to Jimin who looked at it.
"Come on, my Vermilion Pulchritude" Jungkook assured and Jimin just gulped, holding Jungkook's hand. Looking around in the cold night breeze flicking his ash blonde hair as he got out of the car with the help of Jungkook's hand.
Jungkook just scanned Jimin from top to bottom, impressed at his own pick on Jimin.
"I should have taken you home instead" Jungkook stated while closing the door of his car as he handed over his car key remote to the valet.
"Why?" Jimin questioned innocently.
"Because there won't be anybody there" Jungkook replied and Jimin just confusedly frown.
"Umm... so?" Jimin asked while fixing his beautiful red silk, deep V-neck shirt that had tender silver chains on the neckline, pulling the V of the neckline together. Other than that there was no fabric on Jimin's chest. With a beautiful jet black suit jacket over and pants, his ash blonde hair slightly wavy, his lips without that bold red lip tint but just showing his natural soft candy red lips, his hand without his sparkling red slave bracelet but a black expensive wrist watch with pieces of red crushed ruby around the dial's glass sparkling in the night.
"I won't talk. I won't eat or walk. I'm just going in to sit down to pretend that I'm not there" Jimin noted as he began walking towards that lush venue door. "These shoes are tight"
"That's formal, Jimin" Jungkook explained while dragging Jimin up towards the door of the skyscraper.
"My ankle boots do better" Jimin muttured as he looked up higher and higher until the silhouette of the building ends in the dark clouds. "This shit is scary" Jimin dumbfoundedly concluded and Jungkook opened the door for Jimin whose feet were stuck on a spot.
"Come on, Jimin" Jungkook sighed when Jimin chose to not move a single muscle.
"Can I go back?"
"No"
"Mr. Jeon, I'm scared"
"Because of the tall building? We won't go that upstairs"
"It's not about it. I just... don't feel like going in..." Jimin manged to explain but he was already in by then because of Jungkook's hand pulling his arm.
"You are already in" Jungkook flashed a smile. "Button up your suit's jacket" Jungkook directed while eyeing Jimin's baby blushed skin of the chest peeking from his red silk deep (actually deep) V-neckline.
"Why?"
"When I bought it, you promised you will keep it close. I want you to impress my grandfather and that's not gonna happen with this much skin" Jungkook directed while turning around to face Jimin as they stopped walking.
"If I will sit on his lap, he will be impressed. It has nothing to do with my clothes" Jimin replied and Jungkook just looked at him with his unamused mad eyes while poking his inner cheek with his tongue.
"Okay, sorry" Jimin chuckled out. "Seriously, I tried to close them up but it is feeling like I have claustrophobia, the suit's jacket is so thick, it is hard to breath. I like it open" Jimin replied while holding his suit's jacket and Jungkook just nodded and fake smile to everyone while being greeted by every single being passing by.
"But I'm not liking it open" Jungkook whispered with gritted teeth.
"That's your problem, Mr. Jeon"
"A hooker is a hooker even in a suit" Jungkook muttured with a sigh while fixing his own coat, looking around.
"Beware, Mr. Jeon, don't make me kiss the hell out of you in the middle of this hall filled with your family members" Jimin sweetly whispered the threat and Jungkook just cleared his throat as if Jimin didn't even say anything, walking ahead and catching his family's attention.
"Jungkook, aren't you really late for the event?" Jungkook's grandfather mentioned and Jungkook's mother just scanned Jimin from top to bottom with a curious look on her face, being seated on a long dinner table reserved for their family, with Jungkook's cousins, uncles and aunts busy in their world at the table.
"Nothing has started yet, let him breath for a second" Jungkook's father stated with a smile until his eyes landed on Jimin and he froze upon recognizing him, with the glass of water in his hand slipped off his grip, crashing down on the floor from his hands unexpectedly, getting every single person's attention.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook's mother asked her husband, while holding his hand but Mr. Jeon didn't reply.
"Your son has become the CEO yet you never fail to embarrass me in public" Jungkook's grandfather scolded as he shook his head at his son and Jimin voicelessly laughing while covering his mouth and looking away until Jungkook spanked him from behind to behave.
"My apologies..." Jungkook's father mumbled while looking down at his mess as he finally blink.
"F-Father, I guess, that's... the journalist, he... talked about" Jungkook's father managed to speak up while asking Jimin through his eyes that 'what on earth you are doing here?'
"Yes. He is Jimin" Jungkook introduced confidently and Jimin just awkwardly bowed, while trying to make his face rest straight and serious.
"I can't see any reason for you to be late because of a journalist" Grandpa Woo added with crossed arms without returning Jimin's bow, though only Jungkook mother nodded in response with a smile.
"He says journalist like a bad word, God knows what he would consider me..." Jimin muttured while rolling his eyes away.
"Shut up" Jungkook emphasized as he muttured back.
"Daddy?!" Jungkook heard, as he saw Jae-Hwa marching him upon recognizing him and he bended down to pick her up.
"Papa?!" Jae-Hwa added while ending up to hug Jimin's legs instead, making Jungkook to roll his eyes, straightening his posture. Until he realized what Jae-Hwa had screamed with his family looking at Jimin now with a frown.
"Baby Jae, don't call me that" Jimin whispered while bending down to pick her up with a nervous teethy smile.
"What?! Why?!" Jae-Hwa asked out loud with a tilted head.
"Jimin hates to be called papa so, Jae-Hwa is just being playful" Jungkook faked snickered and Jungkook's father held the bridge of his nose.
"She seems to know and like you a lot" Jungkook's mother concluded until Grandpa Woo took Jae-Hwa from Jimin's hands, as if he was practically snatching her.
"Explain him all of the work he has to do for the company" Jungkook's grandfather ordered Jungkook who nodded. "Still, there was no need for him to be here" He added while looking at Jimin before walking away, making Jungkook's father to rush after him.
"Exactly, that's what I was trying to explain to you" Jimin complained while voicelessly digging his foot on Jungkook's, who controlled his yelp in with a fake smile and a glare to Jimin.
"Mom" Jungkook mentioned getting her attention, making Jimin to let go of Jungkook's foot. "Can you please take care of Jimin for me? If I won't meet everyone around, grandfather will kill me by his words" Jungkook stated while holding her hand with a sigh when she was still seated.
"Why not? Go assured" She smiled and Jungkook pecked the back of her hand.
"Thank you" Jungkook told her before turning to Jimin.
"And you, behave" Jungkook whisperedly emphasized to Jimin who smiled at Jungkook's mother scanning him.
"Okay, daddy" Jimin whispered back and Jungkook just held the bridge of his nose before leaving Jimin all alone with Jungkook's mother still scanning him.
"Be seated, Jimin" She offered the chair at the table across her while the whole table was filled with a few chairs empty for a few members and Jimin just did as he was told.
"Aunt Hei-Ran, he shouldn't be at our table, Grandpa Woo won't like it" Jaemin told Jungkook's mother.
"That will be my issue, eat your food" Jungkook's mother dismissed him and Jimin felt Jungkook's family staring at him now.
"So, how did you meet Jungkook?" She asked and Jimin began searching for an answer in his brain Jungkook had fed.
"Through, Taehyung. I was his friend... I mean is, still. I am. I am still his friend" Jimin replied while mentally face palming himself being completely red all of the sudden with everyone's eyes on him at the table.
"I see" She stated while sipping on her drink which Jimin could tell wasn't alcohol and Jimin just looked at her beautiful navy blue dress with white beautiful diamond earrings and rings on her fingers. "You seem to be really young to be a journalist"
"Oh..." Jimin uttured, while lifting his wrist watch a little from his wrist to see some sentences written by Jungkook with a pen. "I'm 25 years old, I'm from Busan, I can't speak any other languages, my hair weren't blonde since birth and I don't like to wear revealing clothes" Jimin read like a robot all one by one whatever Jungkook had written on his wrist. "Wait... what?" Jimin asked with a frown at the last sentence.
"You are so cute" Jungkook's mother mentioned with a chuckle. "I was asking too much. Thank you for the information, though, you don't look like 25 years old"
"Shit... he didn't write anything about my birth date" Jimin eyed his wrist as he mumbled to himself.
"I don't know why but you slightly resembles someone I know" She started and Jimin checked his wrist again, nothing about the resembles part either was written on his wrist so, he stayed quiet.
"So, is it... bad for me?" Jimin asked like a mumble.
"Not at all. I was bored anyways, thank you, you liked to join"
"Bored? There are so many people with you of your family. You don't seem to... have friends?" Jimin asked, his voice barely audible.
"Yeah, nobody gets along well with me" Mrs. Jeon snickered out while sarcastically looking at all the women of the family sitting in a row together at the table.
"Why? I mean... You are Mr. Jeon's mother"
"Maybe that's the issue" She shrugged with a smile as she noticed Mi-Sun walking up to them and taking a seat on the other side of Jungkook's mother with an irritated sigh. "Everyone is jealous because my son became the CEO" Jungkook's mother spoke out loud with a wide smile, getting the eye rolls.
"This is Jungkook's wife" Mrs. Jeon introduced and Jimin just looked at Mi-Sun for the first time from this close, she was wearing a red fitted dress with her brown curly messy hair draped on one side of her shoulder, with a beautiful figure as a woman, with a beautiful face and skin.
Jimin smiled with a nod and just hugged himself, feeling a sudden hint of insecurity.
"He is Jungkook's friend" Mrs. Jeon told Mi-Sun.
"What's wrong with your hair? Feels like they were stuck in bleach" Mi-Sun commented on Jimin's hair.
"At least, they don't look like grass, thorns or bushes" Jimin replied and Mi-Sun just dropped her hair behind, off her shoulder with keen eyes at Jimin who just calmly smirked, sipping on the soft drink a waiter just placed infront of him.
"Jimin, please have something" Jungkook's mother broke in while offering Jimin the food displayed on the table.
"He is the journalist Jungkook had been talking about. You should be nice to him" Jungkook's mother told Mi-Sun but not loud enough for Jimin to hear, though Jimin could.
"A journalist at our table?" Mi-Sun whisperedly asked with wide eyes to Jungkook's mother.
"No. It's a hooker at your table, Bitch" Jimin mumbled while picking up a piece of beef wellington with silver chopsticks.
"Whatever, I'm feeling like to go home than to attend this boring old people-like event" Mi-Sun started as she rolled her eyes.
"We are the chief guest, you should be here" Jungkook's mother instructed.
"The food isn't good, the people are boring, this building is cheaper than our mansion, nobody is wearing a won expensive clothes than my wedding ring. How can you expect me to stay here for more than thirty minutes?" Mi-Sun complained and Jimin just raised his both eyebrows while biting on his food.
"Mi-Sun" Mrs. Jeon sighed.
"What? Jungkook had given me just a 35-Carat diamond on the ring and still people here can't afford to wear clothes expensive than that" She scoffed out loud and Jimin just blinked his eyes.
"Why don't you dance with Jungkook? Spend some time with him" Mrs. Jeon tried to change the subject.
"Speaking of Jungkook. He hasn't return me my bank account, still. I'm forced to ask him for money for my tiniest expenses. He just transferred sixty million won last week on the account he has created for me. Why don't you ask him to give me back my account?" Mi-Sun asked with crossed arms.
"That's his and your's issue. I don't want to be in between" Jungkook's mother replied.
"Then you should not ask me to spend time with him or to dance with him with a fake smile on every mistreatment he does with me" Mi-Sun began and Jimin just voicelessly laughed at Jungkook's fate while looking away.
"Mi-Sun, is everything okay?" Jungkook's father sat at the table beside his wife while ignoring Jimin's presence.
"Yes, sure" Mi-Sun quickly changed her tone with a smile while fixing herself as Jungkook's Grandfather Woo sat down as well. He looked at Jungkook's mother with a frown.
"Father, Jungkook wish him to be with us, he is new in the city and doesn't know anyone around except Jungkook" Jungkook's mother requested to Grandpa Woo and Jimin just looked at her lying for Jimin.
Jungkook's grandfather didn't say anything but kept a face that Jimin shouldn't be at their table, while glaring at him through out the time.
"It is going to be a war for me after the marriage" Jimin mumbled to himself while looking down.
