That stupid irritating alarm rings through my two pillows I had situated over my ears to somehow stop listening to this alarm every day.
I slided my hands out of my white plain bedsheets and snapped my fingers, making the alarm to stop from fussing around as it went silent. A few seconds silence and I, Jeon Jungkook can't go along well.
I'm the CEO of Luna Jeon. Our automobile brand, we sell and produce about 360 luxurious cars per day. I myself started to be as a designer but being the only son of my father I had to carry the business ahead. My father is the chairman of our company which was established by my great great grandfather in 1901. Who undertook the company's name as of his wife 'Luna' but now it's a brand. Luxurious brand actually and now my grandfather is on the director's position with a few of my cousins in other positions of the board.
But my grandfather calls them useless, I'm the only pride of my grandpa's eyes and most of my aunts doesn't like the fact but no one can talk back to my grandpa in Jeon's residence. Since I join the company, my first project Luna XIV was our first car to be positioned in international race track and was considered to be a our first sports car. Well, you see... I kind of won my best grandson award.
I smirked as I brushed fixed my hair with my fingers and adjusted my dress shirt as I get ready for another tiring day.
I thought cars were fun but now all I see are files, files, my boring office desk, phone calls and more files.
"Jae-Hwa?!" I called my little happiness as I climbed down the staircase of my own personal mansion. I moved out of our family residence since I got married. Jae-Hwa is my beautiful five years old daughter.
"Mr. Jeon, miss Jae is sleeping" one of my maid made me remember.
"And where is Mi-Sun?" I questioned her. Seriously.
"I-I don't know, Mr. Jeon" The maid replied while looking down.
"I know, you know it"
"Mr. Jeon, S-She... hasn't come back home since last night" She replied timidly. "It was her friend's birthday party"
"And what about the mother's day celebration at Jae-hwa's school?"
"It was yesterday" She said.
"Did she attended?" I asked and the maid shook her head in denial slowly.
"I can't believe this" I muttered, rolling my eyes as I turned to leave for office and found Mi-Sun entering the door of our mansion in a sparkling black short dress with a huge revealing neckline as she bended down to take off her heels tipsily. And from here my to do list for the day started.
[ ] Morning fight with Mi-Sun.
[ ] Breakfast.
[ ] Kissing Jae-Hwa good bye.
[ ] Approving designs for head department.
[ ] Phone calls from head office to fire lazy staff for the day.
[ ] Meeting grandpa for lunch.
[ ] Going back to company.
[ ] Work. Work. Work.
[ ] Boringly back to home.
[ ] Dinner fight with Mi-Sun.
[ ] Read Jae-Hwa bedtime story.
[ ] Dead Sleep.
[ ] Repeat...
That's my wife. Mi-Sun, Jeon Mi-Sun. In my family, people are bound to marry soon when they turn eighteen but still I married Mi-Sun when I was nineteen, she was eighteen, though. I always use to think that love exists and it will be so magical when I will meet my first love but...
I never got a chance to be in love with anyone. I studied hard. I was trained like a soldier to carry the burden of our family business by my parents, so that I can be count as a good grandson and get most of the will of my still alive grandpa. Soon when I graduated, I was pushed into that huge glassed building AkA my grandpa's company. No teenage romantic drama ever happened in my life ever.
I met Mi-Sun on the day of our engagement. It was an arranged marriage. In my family only two things count in marriages; wealth and shares and only one thing is demanded from the marriage; A heir. No love. No feelings. I just had to put my child into this world somehow.
Mi-Sun and I are two different people. She likes to stay out partying, isn't your domestic partner thing. We actually don't talk until she wants a new dress. We barely have any sex life. There is always a 'No' when it comes to my needs but always a 'Yes' when it comes to her own. There are always bubbles when she asks for my credit card and sometimes, fluff when she wants my debit card.
And what kind of relationship she has with our daughter is a quite complicated topic to talk about... because I myself haven't understood it yet.
"Have you checked the time?" I questioned Mi-Sun, since she chose to ignore me while walking back to our room.
"I lost my watch in the pool last night... it was really heavy duty diamond watch though" She checked her wrist and I rolled my eyes. Another watch, I seriously doubt the fact that she kept on losing her jewelry.
"Do you even know how expensive it was?" I questioned.
"Why would I be? It's your job not mine. I'm your wife, I only know how to shop, Mr. Jeon" She giggled and pecked my lips, she smelled like alcohol mixed with too many perfumes all together. Disgusting.
"Promise, I won't be late next time. Lineath didn't let me go earlier but I won't listen to her next time" She pouted, straightening my collar and I just raised my eyebrow at her.
"Why you didn't attend the mother's day celebration at Jae-hwa's school?" My question made her to caressed her forehead with a hiss.
"I was busy, Jungkook" She said in a 'duh' tone.
"What busy? You don't even work or study anything" I asked dumbfoundedly.
"Now you are pissing me off" She rolled her eyes.
"Oh really? I don't give a damn about what you do whole day and night. All I ask is to just be a mother to your child" I stated and our maid chose to escape the scene.
"Just a mother? I'm your wife too and I can't play that boring part, Jungkook. I gave birth to her, ruined my figure already, even when I'm only twenty-six. I can't stand that bullshit functions with old women clapping with those nasty kids under that open P.E ground. My skin hasn't recovered since I attented it five years ago. Plus, it was my friend's birthday which was important to me" She replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
"And what about Jae-Hwa? What she have gone through waiting for you with her teachers?!" I lost it. That's how usually our morning starts.
"She should get used to of that. Why such a stupid meaningless function is bothering our morning!?" She complained.
"Because it isn't stupid and meaningless. How many times I have to explain it to you, Mi-Sun"
"You aren't my dad, Jungkook. Why don't you just let me live my lifestyle? There are twenty maids in this house for Jae-Hwa"
"And I work this place out all alone. Everyone is bound to play their part or else they can leave for their two million won factory house" I yelled at her.
"You supported my brothers and father, it doesn't mean I have to listen to your favors everyday!" She yelled back.
"Oh, you really have to, because then I will have to talk to your father and throw you out!"
"That isn't that easy. If I will leave, I will straight go to your family house and grandpa Woo will fix your problems!" She threatened and stomped up the staircase, making me speechless with gritted teeth.
I don't know why Grandpa Woo support her that much and nobody can raise a single question infront of him because he is the elder of the family.
"This fucking marital life is a joke" I cursed in my breath as I turned to leave and my eyes landed on Jae-Hwa peeking out of her bedroom door, hugging a teady bear, wearing her school uniform.
Oh God, was she listening to us all of this time. "Hey, Baby Jae" I mentioned with a sigh as I tried to look decent while brushing my hair back which were messed up during the yells and walked up to her.
"Hey, Daddy" She whispered, looking scared. I seriously try not let my kid see my this side but this woman...
"Good Morning, my baby doll" I cooed while fixing her brown curly hair as I kneeled down to her and she finally smiled.
"Good morning, Daddy" She replied placing her head on my shoulder as I picked her up, climbing down the staircase.
"Let's do breakfast out today, okay? Just Jae-Hwa and her dad" I announced. "And then I will drop you to your school"
"Really?" She asked excitedly. "Will not you be late for your office?" She asked concerned, poking my neck as I walked out of my so called home.
"Nope. I will not" I assured her little brain and she smiled.
"Can I have chocolate cake for breakfast, Daddy?"
"No, Jae. No sweets before an actual meal" I instructed.
"But you promised!" Jae-Hwa whined while playing with my tie with her little hands as my driver opened the door of my car for us.
"Fine, we will think about it"
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Jae-Hwa waved back at me before she ran inside and I just rolled up the windows of my car after noticing how Jae-hwa's female teachers were shyly smiling towards me as they walk passed me, bowing a little and I bowed back.
Walking back to my car, I saw a group of young college girls whispering to each other while looking at me and giggling.
My driver opened the door for me and I got inside, shaking my head at them.
I'm twenty-seven, dark parted hair, tall, dressed in a black formal suit with white designer dress shirt, can possibly understand those shy giggles.
A well-known industrialist, well established CEO of Luna. Still, I don't give a damn about any beautiful woman out there. I don't like it, I'm not that type of the man. I would've chosen a decent housewife and would have spend my whole life for her. But now that Mi-Sun isn't what I wanted, I still don't feel like to keep a side love affair either. I don't have time to even look at Mi-Sun properly, having any other woman is impossible.
I'm also known as the rude and cold boss among ladies in my company. Am I arrogant? Of course, yes, I am. I raised my company's business statistics from my grandpa's era to where it actually is now. I'm proud of the money I make. I keep keen eyes on where my money is spent and why. Freely, relate me to Mr. Krabs from spongebob. I love his traits when it comes to money.
And dang! I'm exactly five minutes late.
"Isn't there any short route to the company?" I asked my driver as we were stuck in this traffic jam for a good minute now.
"Umm... there is, Mr. Jeon. From the Next Street ahead of your home. But I can bet you wouldn't like to go from there" My driver replied with a snicker.
"Why?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"You'll see if we will go" My driver chuckled. What's so weird about that place?
"Whatever, take it from there" I ordered and he turned the car towards my mansion for the Next Street.
Well... when we reached there, basically it wasn't a street. Next Street had no street. It was a punk grunge vibing alleyway with hookers standing with side walls of those old antique shops and other small cottages' doors were opening up to that alleyway. It was too busy that my driver had to drive through it in a snail pace.
"God... these sluts" I muttered while rolling my eyes as a burnette woman knocked my window and started walking with the car until I rolled up the black tinted glass of the windows. Couldn't tell what she was talking about to me but the flying kiss she passed me, gave an idea.
There were some really beautiful windchime shops, don't think people would come here to buy because of these lachery going on in the alleyway. The gas and smoke coming from people's cigarettes and those open gutturs were disgusting. The curse words painted on the wall with spray paint over government banners weren't doing any better though either.
"How can you even think about lending money from me?! Get the fuck out!" I saw a rather rough woman shouting before she grabbed somebody and pushed that person on my car.
My driver pulled the brakes on the right time but that guy would have hit hard on the stomach as he fell on his stomach over my car's bonnet with a loud sound.
That boy finally looks up but to my surprise he wasn't looking in trouble or in pain at all. He had a wide smile as he raised his middle finger at that woman who was yelling at him.
"Hey! Get off!" My driver yelled at him too while honking the car's horn again and again forcibly.
"I just wanna fix my liner" The guy mouthed while comfortably placing his elbows on my car's bonnet to support his face.
"I said! Get off! Now! Get off!!" My driver kept pushing the horn.
"I wanna fix my fucking liner" The guy mouthed again in a 'duh' manner with his bold red lips which were bleeding from the side and I grabbed my driver's shoulder to stop him from hitting the horn.
"Let him do it" I mentioned. I don't know why I... did that, maybe because he was bleeding or maybe because I couldn't stop looking at his light brown eyes covered with thick black eyeliner as he wiped the corners of his eyes with his thumb while looking at my windscreen like a mirror. The windows were tinted black so, I was sure he wasn't able to look inside.
"Mr. Jeon, don't be nice to him" My driver tried to explain. "You don't know hookers like him. They look innocent at first but then they steal and..."
"It's okay" I cut him off. Too busy to listen anything.
He was just using my windscreen as a mirror while softly wiping the corners of his lower lashline. He had wavy ash blonde hair and a rosy white skin complexion. A red sparkling choker around his neck. His neckline were showing so much of his skin when he was laying over his stomach on my car's bonnet, rocking his legs here and there as he began wiping the corner of his red lips which were bleeding as he sniffed slightly. He was wearing a bright glossy red faux cheap leather cropped top with cold shoulder sleeve and matching fabric pants, stuffed in maroon combat boots.
I really didn't know why I'm saying this but... he was really pretty. I seriously didn't know that male sluts were a thing. I knew about male strippers but the way he was dressed up, he was obviously attracting men around. This boy could actually deceive someone to be called as a woman or even beautiful than a woman. His clothes were looking so... attractive on him... like he... I was speechless.
He was really beautiful. Maybe, I just was appreciating his beauty, that's all... nothing else. I'm straight. Obviously.
"Chim!" A muscular man came out of nowhere when I was too busy looking down to the boy's skin. The man was looking like a bouncer of any club or something. But he grabbed that boy by his blonde hair and yanked him off my car angrily.
I actually didn't want to interrupt but that wasn't a way to... handle somebody like... him.
I just watched him being carried away that harshly by that man and the little whimper of that boy could be heard even when I'm in the car when he was being carried away.
That man pushed him on a wall, making the boy to slammed onto a shop window and grabbed his face as if he was asking him something.
I was actually concern, I don't know why... he shouldn't be held this way... he didn't look like someone who should be treated that harshly...
My thought bubble popped when that boy kicked his knee between the man's legs and I made a 'wow' face unintentionally.
That man grabbed his manhood in painful manner. It would ache during so many... tasks.
Guess, the softie isn't that soft when he flickered away a piece of his hair from his face with his finger sassily.
My driver had already driven away and the wall of one of those shops got in between to see what was happening next.
I don't know why but I snickered as I comfortably sank into my seat. I was sort of relieved, I didn't have to get off and punch that bouncer on my own. I mean, no one should be treated the way he was treating that young fella.

"Oh! Mr. Jeon will be here at every second. Be presentable. Be quick" the hustle was tough as the glassed doors of my company open apart as I stepped in.
"Mr. Jeon" My assistant stumblingly walked ahead as soon as he noticed me and bowed quickly as I walked passed him. I kept my face straight as I walk and everyone kept bowing as I walked passed everyone's positions and my assistant ran after me with a huge pile of folders and files.
Under Jeon Jungkook's control, that's how it is. A single mistake can make you lose your career and job on first hand. 'Fired' is a stamp I take no second in printing on anyone's files.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Oh, God" I sighed after hours of working and running people's asses here and there to get today's tasks done, I sank into my CEO chair.
Somebody knocked my office's door and without my permission the door opened. I raised my eyebrow at this disrespectful behavior and was ready to give a piece of my mind in a gentle way but that wide boxy smile, made me to calm my frowning eyebrows.
It was my best friend, Taehyung and my cousin from my mom's side, Suga Hyung. They both barged in like fighting bulls with quarrelling over something and trying to enter the door together until Suga Hyung pushed Taehyung's face away and stepped in first.
"My thing is more important" Suga Hyung dropped a file and as I began opening it, Taehyung snatched it away.
"Shut up! No work before lunch time and as I'm paying for today's dinner, we are going to have fun" Taehyung announced.
"Yeah listen to him. This jerk wants to celebrate his promotional salary in a strip club" Suga Hyung rolled his eyes. Taehyung is the Cheif Design Officer (CFO) in my company. He draws well. And Suga Hyung works for my accounts department, he is an year older than me while Taehyung and I were born in the same year, in the same hospital and we didn't even know about until we met in middle school.
"It's not a strip club, it's just a club with a really hot bartender" Taehyung winked at Suga Hyung who looked at him with an open stunned mouth.
"How dare you?" Suga Hyung grabbed Taehyung's collar who laughed.
"A bartender, Suga Hyung?" I asked with a smirk. "She must be beautiful"
"Well..." Taehyung cleared his throat.
"It's a he" Taehyung shrugged and I just looked at them before holding the bridge of my nose in disbelief.
"So what? He is really beautiful with an adorable sunshine smile" Taehyung added and Suga Hyung just rolled his eyes before sinking into a chair.
"Of course, guys can be pretty too" Suga Hyung commented dreamingly.
"Maybe" I nodded. Agreeing. Sort of. In the first time in my life. I do agree. Don't have to judge me.
"Maybe?" Taehyung raised his eyebrow at me. "For the first time, Jeon Jungkook said maybe to a guy being pretty, not a straight 'No' like his straight ass... something is different about today" Taehyung made a thinking hard face.
"Well, I'm going to join Taehyung. Heart preferences. Even though, I would never talk to him or try to flirt with him but just..."
"To ogle him, he will go!" Taehyung cut Suga Hyung out and I laughed.
"I'm not interested. I won't come, you guys make it so late, I have a daughter who won't sleep if I won't read her to bed" I replied.
"Come on! Don't be grandpa Woo" Taehyung hit my shoulder.
"No jokes on my grandpa" I instructed with a raised eyebrow and Suga hyung laughed, making Taehyung to roll his eyes with an irritated sigh.
"Come onnn!" Taehyung pleaded.
"I'm not interested"
"Jungkook, I never asked for your interests... Come on, Jungkook!"
"I'm twenty seven, stop being a kid Taehyung. Clubs aren't my thing, offer me a dinner in a nice peaceful restaurant"
"Grandpa Woo" Suga Hyung commented while looking through a file and I just poked my inner cheek with my tongue.
"Suga hyung and I are going and you don't have to talk to me for the rest of your life even if you will reach up to the age of Grandpa Woo" Taehyung crossed his arms over his chest as he turned to leave.
"Okay, wait!"
"Fuck you!"
"Tae!? Come on, I will go!" I announced back but Taehyung slammed the door close of my office as he went out and I snickered, caressing my forehead.
"I will come back to catch up with you guys, wait for me. It's Taehyung's offered dinner after all. But first, I have to go say my day's greetings to Grandpa Woo on the lunch" I told Suga Hyung who nodded in understanding.
