Nate and Sean sat in the back seat, talking about little interests that they shared- video games and such. Felix drove and Mark was in the passenger's seat. Oh, yeah, Cry disappeared. He was god knows where but Felix said to just leave it be, Cry could handle himself.

They drove for hours on end, the boys in the back seat ended up falling asleep and Mark and Felix took turns driving. But finally, they got to a small house in the middle of nowhere.
"This is it." Felix said as the car slowed to a stop.
"What? This little shack?" Mark questioned. Felix nodded. Mark slammed his door after he got out and Sean awoke with a start, groggily wiping drool from the corner of his mouth. Nate's eyes slowly opened like he had just come back from the realm of the dead.

"Rise and shine. Seize the day. Whatever, we're here." Mark said. The two scrambled out of the car and followed the half Korean and Swede over to the house. Felix knocked a pattern on the door and after a few seconds the door opened, revealing a guy with chestnut brown hair that was dyed red in the center, kind of like a rooster. We was wearing sweat pants and an anime t-shirt.
"Felix, glad you could make it!" He said, "and this must be, let's see, Mark, Sean and..Nate." They nodded.
"Great, come in! Come in! I just made hot cocoa." He stepped aside to let them in. Felix stepped in with or hesitation but the others raised their eyebrows or shot doubtful looks at each other before entering.

They were served coffee and he man who opened the door introduced himself.
"Hi, I'm Noble, a part of Lost Pause." He said.
"A part? It thought that was like a code name for you. Is it a group?" Mark asked.
"Well, sort of, not really, I guess. Y'see, the one who fixes and hacks isn't me- it's Lily." Noble replied. Just then they heard footsteps from down the hall, "speak of the devil."

A stunning girl with grey hair walked in. She wore a white crop top, brown pants, a red jacket around her waist, gloves, a tool belt, goggles on her head and a little bandana around her neck. Oh yeah, she also had grey fox ears and a tail.
"Helloooooo, nurse..." Mark murmured.
"Guys, meet Lily. Lily, this is Mark, Sean and Nate. You already know Felix." Noble said. Lily smiled.
"Nice to meet you!" She said, shaking all their hands, tail swishing happily.

"So, why have you graced us with your presence this fine afternoon?" Noble asked.
"We need you to find somebody." Felix said.
"And who would this be?" Noble asked.
"Uh.." Felix said and looked at Nate.
"Oh! Hey, uh, Jack, let's go outside. I want to tell you something. In private." Nate said and led Sean outside. Felix looked back at Noble and Lily.
"Edmund Marlow." He whispered, "just, don't say it around Sean. He's very touchy about the subject." Noble nodded.
"Got it," he said then turned to Lily, "think you can find him?" Lily grinned.
"Of course I can, silly."
