"Wake up little sleepy angel~ Rise and shine honey."

Henry slowly opens his eyes as he feels a soft voice call out for him and someone poked his cheek. As soon as he woke up, a very fragrant smell of food hit his nose, which awakes Henry's sleepy eyes.

"I know that you might be a little bit tired, but we'll have to get you ready for this important day."

When the boy slowly sits up from his cozy sleeping spot, Alice straighten up and gives him a sweet smile. The lack of warmth wakes up Bendy who is still sleeping next to him too.

"Oh, you shouldn't sleep on the sofa like this, you might catch a cold easily! Tell me Henry, did Bendy "force" you to do so?"

He realized now that he and Bendy had dozen off on the couch together last night. There was a blanket still covering both of them, make sure they won't feel cold. Alice glances at the devil, makes Bendy sweats slightly from the dreadful glare. Though he knows she is just being silly, Henry laughs quietly.

We felt as sleep after practicing last night without realizing! So it's not his fault Alice...!"

The angel girl sighs, she gently pats his head, his smooth, blond hair slides into her cartoon fingers.

"Don't push yourself too much, okay? And by the way, breakfast is ready, you two should get yourself ready and get to the kitchen before Boris eats them all. Little spoiler: it's bacon with egg and toasted bread~"

As soon as Alice finished her sentence and listed the delicious meal, Bendy immediately jumped up from the sofa.

"BACON, WITH EGGS?? BORIS, STOP RIGHT THERE!!!"

Bendy dashes towards the kitchen at the speed of light, leaving a trail of dust in his wake.

"BENDY-! BRUSH YOUR TEETH FIRST!!"

Alice shouts at the devil who is now in the kitchen. Bendy has never ceased being funny to a little boy like Henry, who can not help but chuckle at the sight. And that is how the morning routine of the four has done.

Later, they're now on their way to meet their boss. Yes, their boss. Alice claims that a "mysterious" figure she refers to as "the boss" is in charge of Bendy, Boris, and Alice. This figure is the one who plays an important role in performing career of the three. Most of the songs that Alice has performed are made by that person, without doubting they're a very passionate and talented character, because Henry has heard some of the group's song, and it was truly a masterpiece! The way the music naturally flows well with the vocal and lyric, and Henry can even feel the abundant vitality through the rhythm of the song, a perfect typical cartoon music.

Suppressing a sigh, Henry continues to stare out the car window. He doesn't know anymore, he did think that this testing voice stuff was simple, but now come to think about it, he can't help but grow nervous. What if he ends up failing them? This is too much thought for him to handle.

"Are you nervous, Doll?"

Henry was suddenly quiet, and Bendy noticed it right away. The little boy was really excited all the time, until now. Henry turns his head to him, tries his best to smile without showing his anxious feeling.

"Ah- a bit.."

That expression, Bendy just knows that Henry is doubting himself.

"You don't have to worry dear, really! I know just well that our boss will love your voice right away! Never suspect an angel decision boy!"

Although Alice is the one who driving, but nothing could slip past her acumen. She chuckles and raises Henry's spirit up.

"Yeah! Alice's right. You're exactly who he's looking for. Your natural voice's just going to fit his song soooo well~"

Bendy takes Henry's hand and squeezes it gently, trying to somehow bring his energy to the boy. Boris gives him an encouraging look, raising his thumb at the little angel. Henry's feeling so much better after being cheered up, he smiles at them. Oh how much he loves being with them. He has only been with the gang for some days ago, but now he feels like he is a part of them. Helping him whenever he needs, cheering him up when he feels upset,... the little boy has never asked for more than this. To him, Alice, Bendy and Boris, they're not just his friends, they're his family.

"Oh, did I tell you that Bendy is the boss's favorite yet?"

The angel girl suddenly says, in a blink of an eye, Boris can see the devil flinched. The topic changed so quickly by Alice to bring some good mood.

"Bendy?"

Henry's eyes slightly widen in surprise, he can't help but asks. Although it is understandable if the devil is being preferred though, beside those mischievous characters, he has a simple yet cute design too.

"Oh please Alice, don't you ever mention it, it's not something to be proud of!"

The devil rolls his eyes, crosses his arms. To him, the boss is a real weirdo although he can't deny the fact that this man is a talented composer. 

"Pfft- kinda funny to me to be honest~"

Alice mischievously giggles, teasing Bendy is her pastime. They are rivals, to be sure, but in a positive sense. Plus, who said angels can't be playful? 

While they're talking, they arrived. It's a tall business building with 3 floors, Henry gets off the car, he lifts his head to have a better look of the building. The building itself kinda old compared to the scenery of the cartoon town.

"Here we are."

They get out of the car. While Alice is parking the car, Bendy can't wait to introduce the place to the angel boy. He holds Henry's and and leads him inside of the building, Boris and Alice follow behind. 

"This building is our "base", owned by our boss. We usually keep our instruments and performing stuff here."

The inside of the building was quite empty, not as crowded as Henry had thought. Following Bendy to the 3rd floor, they arrive in front of a room in the center of the corridor, and Alice pauses a bit before deciding to knock. She turns to Henry, kneels down to his height, giving him a reassuring look.

"Okay dear, listen to me."

"Boss doesn't want too many people in his office, so we can't cheer you up while you're singing, but if you take a deep breath, don't be too nervous and everything will be ok. Got it? Just do your best darling."

Henry nods, the boy hugs all three of them one last time before heading into the room. This room is exceptionally soundproof, so from the outside, the trio can't tell what's going on inside. More than 30 minutes later, the door to the room was opened, and Henry's small figure walks out of the room. Bendy immediately jumps up from his chair and runs to his side, probing from top to bottom to make sure he was okay. As for Henry, the boy seems quiet.

"Is... everything okay?"

Alice looked at Henry worriedly, not just her, Boris did the same too. Did the boss say something? 

"..."

Then unexpectedly, the boy grins, his wings spread slightly.

"I think I did it guys!"

"Oh my! Really!!"

"Yas! I knew it!"

Bendy happily rushes to Henry's side, holds the boy's hand. The whole group is so delighted and can't hold back their smiles. Alice sighed softly, then she comes next to Henry, placing her hand on the boy's shoulder.

"Congratulations Henry."

"Now you are officially a member of the band! Welcome to our gang Doll!"

In the afternoon noon, they decided to throw a little party to celebrate the "new member". The group sits together in the dining room, chatting and laughing while eating some cake.

"So, what happened?"

Bendy sits beside Henry, the devil eventually asks. To think of it, they were outside, so they had no idea what was going on in the room. Now that Bendy has mentioned it, Alice and Boris also are very curious too, they lean closer to the boy.

"Yeah, what did you two talk about?"

"Um... Nothing much, really! Just a few basic greetings and we got to the main thing right away. Well, his reaction was kinda surprised me though..."

Henry smiles, his gaze shifts to the window. The view of the starry night sky gives Henry a sense of comfort, suddenly he flashbacks about the morning when he first met "Boss".

"Um... Hello?"

Henry pushed the door carefully as he got in, his eyes dashed around the room slowly. It's a pretty simple office, and a bit cluttered. Papers were sprawling from the top of the desk to the ground, so Henry had to carefully went inside so as not to step on any paper or document. With the window partially covered by curtains, the only natural light that entered the room was reflected onto the Boss, who continued to work intently on the large whiteboard that was hanging on the wall.

"He doesn't seem to have noticed me."

Silently, Henry thought so, his expression a little bewildered as he glanced behind the person who was still busy in his own businesses. He was unsure whether to call or knock again, because either choice would interrupt the other person's work.

"Hm? Oh, how rude of me."

Just then, a sudden cut off Henry's thoughts. The "boss" who had been burying his head in work suddenly spoke up.

"You must be Henry. Alice told me about you. Come here, take a seat."

The man said as he scratched his messy hair. Adjusting his misaligned eyeglasses, he quickly cleaned up the pile of papers and documents covering the table and chairs, pushing them to the corner of the room.

"I might have to hire a cleaner too."

He muttered quietly to himself, but Henry noticed it. The boy obediently sat in the chair opposite the man's desk.

"Nice to meet you Mr-!"

"Sammy. You can call me Sammy."
