Last time I reupload this....I think.
This is for TheLegendofRWBY, I hope you enjoy the story.

(Beware, this is an older one of my stories that I probably won't ever edit sooooo it's not the best.)

(Y/n) was always envious of Link.

It didn't matter what age they were,He just always remembered being envious.
Even being able to talk to Zelda once would prove that maybe (Y/n) was more than he thought,but no.He never got a chance to succeed.
But that wasn't the only thing.
He wasn't just cursed with feeling jealousy,he also had to watch for eternity.
You see,(Y/n) for as long as he could remember,He was always watching Link do so much better than him.
No matter what he tried no matter how much he changed his strategies.
And he knew why,The Triforce of Courage had been linked to Link forever.
However,(Y/n) never held it against Link.
The two had a wonderful relationship that they wouldn't give up for anything.
Now (Y/n) has fought with Link and a sorcerer named Lana against a sorcerer of the same clan (?) named Cia.
The battles went under the exact same cycle everytime:Finding and doing the objective,Defeating many more enemies than a normal soldier would,Getting a minimal amount or no credit,Getting a worth it amount of credit from Link,and repeat.
This cycle would get extremely frustrating at times but (Y/n) learned how to channel the frustration into more determination.
No matter what,He was sworn to protect the princess with his heart but it seemed like he was also doomed to an eternity where he couldn't even do that.
Now (Y/n) was running alongside Link,in what seemed to be the final battle against Cia.
It was in the "Valley of Seers".
Before the battle even started you could see that Lana wanted to say something to Link but bit her tongue.
It was probably to tell him that she loved him.You knew,It was honestly more frustrating than any of your other lives when he was missing the basic queues that it seemed like anyone else would get.
It didn't mean to much to (Y/n) as he didn't have any feeling for her,feelings never did him any good because most just got to him so they could get to Link.
While just taking out some useless enemies you thought about Cia,more specifically,Her infatuation with Link.
You had seen people fangirls over Link so it wasn't the most shocking thing,but it still held a decent amount of meaning because she was a maniacal villain,that seemed to love Link.
This causes a few thoughts to come to (Y/n)'s mind.The main one was:
'What if her love was used against her?'
He then brought this up with Link(While slicing down an incredible number of enemies)and Link gave (Y/n) a hearty nod in agreement.

The battle was nearing its end when Cia had opened several gates to several different timelines causing different monsters to start swarming the battle scene.
You could hear Lana yelling at Cia.

Lana:"No Cia! Your Spirit can't take much more of this!"

It was certainly strange,Lana telling Cia her limits,they must've had much more of a bond than you could've imagined.

Lana:"Cia...No more...Please..."

You could tell that Cia and Lana had much more of a relationship than you could've imagined.

But You couldn't think about it right now.

Volga made his appearance known on the battlefield and was advancing towards Zelda.

(Y/n) knew that it would take a solid minute before Link would get back to help you and Zelda out.

Keeps were being taken left and right and Link was doing a whole lot of the major fighting besides yourself.

(Y/n):"Zelda."

Time seemed to slow down as both of you looked at each other.

(Y/n):"I need you to trust me."

It sounded as if you could hear both of the separate people's heartbeats.

Zelda felt it in her heart to trust you.She know realized that you had saved her multiple times but Link had gotten all of the credit.She looked into your eyes to see any trace of faltering and she found none.

She slowly nodded her head as the environment began to speed up again.She had to take in a deep breath before she could start to realize that her heart rate had sped up.

(Y/n) rose to both of his feet,his eyes were still locked with Zelda's.

The first one to show the two that they were still on the Battlefield was a
Dinolfos,It ran up behind the dazed Zelda and jumped up just to slash it's axe at her.

She wasn't expecting it to happen so she was none the wiser.
(Y/n) grabbed her smaller wrist and pulled her behind him.
He pulled his shield up above his head and took all of the damage from the attack dealt out.
Not staggering,He pushed the overgrown lizard away from him and the surprised Zelda.

He stabbed the off balance creature in its gut.Making sure to guarantee that it was either dead or was going to die.

He looked at Zelda and she looked at him in appreciation.

(Y/n):"Volga will be here any moment,Lend me a hand and we may be able to convince him about fighting."

Zelda:"Let us convince the proud Dragon warrior to come back to the light!"

(Y/n):"Link should be here in a few moments,we just have to deal with it on our own!"

Volga had arrived and charged at the two.
His focus was completely on Zelda until (Y/n) had shot a few arrows into his back.

Volga turned to (Y/n) with a scowl on his face.

Zelda:"Volga,You were once a proud dragon warrior,don't become a victim to the darkness,Come back to the light!"

Volga:"No.....NO I won't be ruled by the darkness!
This battle is nearly at it's end...I must leave the battlefield."

Volga slowly hobbled away from the battlefield,a few people helping him along the way.

Volga:"Young warrior!"

Several people looked at him to see his sight line leading to you.

Volga:"I lost sight of what being a warrior truly was,I see the fire in you eyes that I once had.
Take this spear and use it to give proper judgement!"

He tossed his spear at (Y/n).
(Y/n) caught the spear and he felt his energy given back to him as he held the Dragon knights spear.

(Y/n):"I will make sure to give it back!"

The Dragon Knight chuckled softly,knowing that there soon wouldn't be anyone to give it back to.

You and Link ran up to Cia,readying yourself for a final battle.

With your new spear in hand you find new courage to bring the evil out of Cia.

You tried not to hit any vital spot and you tried to warn Link of any Vitals to try to miss.

Trying to slowly bring down any sort of stamina she had.

After a while of widdling her stamina down until you slipped up and ending up stabbing her shoulder.

Cia:"You hurt me......I'm gonna kill you!"

Cia formed 8 different shadow versions of (Y/n) to attack him and Link.

(Y/n) looked at the shadows,closed his eyes,and took a deep breath.

He began to hum a tune.

(Insert Song of Healing)
(Wattpad wasn't liking me so I couldn't put it here)

The shadow versions stood still for a few moments simply turned and pointed their spears at Cia.

They slowly turned from their shadowy figures to glowing white figures.

Cia:"W-What?!
Everybody has their demons!
You can't be special!"

(Y/n):"I dealt with my demons a long time ago."

The bright figures all disappeared in a bright ball of light.

After a little more fighting with the evil but beautiful villain,she fell on the ground,bloody.

Cia:"Isn't this what you wanted....Lana...."

Lana:"Cia..."

Lana ran over to the bloodied Cia.

Cia:"We both know how this ends...he doesn't choose you...."

Cia:"How do you do it....knowing you get left behind?"

Lana looked back at Link,but in the corner of her eye she had seen (Y/n).

Lana:"Maybe we just haven't been looking in the right place...."

Cia looked at her other half in confusion.

Lana pointed at you.

Lana:"I need you to come here!"

You walked over quickly not minding that she didn't call you by your name.

You never did really introduce yourself to anyone.

Lana:"I need help and it should be from you."

While you were confused,you weren't going to give up a chance to help the dying woman.

(Y/n):"Ok,How?"

Cia could feel her grasp on her consciousness slipping.

Lana:"Do what you did with her shadow clones!"
(I tried to avoid that but I couldn't)

(Y/n) calmed his breathing and let all of the environment fall out of his mind.

All that was left was him and Cia.

He closed his eyes and quietly began to hum the same tune as earlier.

The woman felt her pain leave her body as her breathing became calmer.

She quickly went unconscious after the quick healing from the male.

Lana and friends looked in amazement as the unnoticed boy helped the enemy.

The boy looked at Lana with a small smile.
He laid down besides the unconscious woman to get some lost energy back.He didn't use that sing often do doing it twice in succession was quite tiring.

(Y/n) got up and exhaustively put Cia over his shoulder.

Lana made portals for everyone to back to their original times.

They all were going to until the zora princess had looked at (Y/n).

Ruto:"(Y/n)?!
Is that really you?!"

All of the leaving allies turned back at the familiar name.

Midna:"Oh,Last time I saw you,You saved my life."

Darunia:"Oh you know him too?
This Goron brother has saved more Gorons than I can count!"

Ruto:"You haven't forgotten about your promise to always protect me?!"

Fi:"Master (Y/n)?
You know these people?"

(Y/n) let out a small sigh as he told them all to step away from the portals.

(Y/n):"Lana can you close those for about 7 more minutes?"

Lana just nodded at him and closed the portals.

(Y/n) told Everyone about how he always was reborn to fit a role of Links best friend in a different world every lifetime.
He also told them about his main struggles with being in Links shadow for a long time,but eventually being able to deal with his main demon of jealousy.
They all complimented him on how he got through that.They also made sure that you understood that you no longer were in Links shadow.

They all gave you a proper thanks (Which brought you a lot of satisfaction) and left through their portals.

With all of the Triforces in one place,Zelda brought the land back to its previous form.

Zelda:"You have saved more than me,You have saved our enemy.
You have a heart of gold,Thank you (Y/n)."

(Y/n):"It was no problem Princess,I'm just glad I was able to help."

Impa:"Thank you for helping us in our time of need."

(Y/n) just gave her a small smile of appreciation.

With all of the Triforces in one place,they brought the land back to its previous form.

Lana:"There,things should be as they were.
And with that,I should go....."

(Y/n) began to walk besides Lana.

(Y/n):"I think I'll be going with her,We'll be needing to so something about Cia after all."

Zelda:"Lana,Will we meet again?"

Lana:"......Goodbye...."

Lana closed the final gate that was crossing time and space.

(Y/n) rubbed Links head.

(Y/n):"I'll be back,Until then protect Zelda from any danger."

They looked at him,confused.

Impa:"We've already taken care of Cia haven't we?"

(Y/n):"You have,but wherever there is light,there is darkness by the name of Ganon."

Zelda looked at him and nodded.

(Y/n):"Zelda,don't forget to teach Link about the Light arrows."

(Y/n) was going to start walking away but his name was called.

Zelda:"(Y/n)!"

She tossed him a familiar blue ocarina.

Zelda:"Maybe you can hone your song with this!"

(Y/n) chuckled to himself.

(Y/n):"Thanks Zelds!"

Zelda had a small smile on her face from the nickname.

(Y/n) walked up to Lana and they both started to walk were ever their legs would take them.

After quite a bit if time of the silent walk both tried to initiate a conversation.

Lana/(Y/n):So-oh You go-

Both stood in silence before starting to laugh.

Lana:"You can go."

She was laughing between every word.

(Y/n):"Yeah,I don't think we've properly met have we?
I'm (Y/n) (L/n).
I have been apart of Princess Zelda's army for more years than most have."

Lana:"I'm Lana and the woman over your shoulder is Cia.
I said that we were from the same Clan but that isn't completely true.However,I won't tell you just yet.
You have to earn that."

The young woman teased (Y/n).
They could both tell that this relationship was going to go smoothly.

Lana:"How did you meet Link?
In your first life I mean."

(Y/n) had to think about it.

(Y/n):"I had woken up without remembering that I fell asleep.
All I remember was seeing the great Deku tree die,Then I had seen Link.
I just railed him for a long time until he was hurt and some trouble was happening,I jumped out,got stabbed, and defeated the enemies.We became friends after that."

Lana:"When was the first time you ever met Zelda?"

(Y/n):"Officially,Today.
I have never met the Princess before Today."

Lana:"Did you ever meet her unofficially?"

(Y/n):"Near the time I met Link,He met Zelda.
I had never seen her,after quite a bit if time,Ganon had come to take her,Impa ran off with Zelda and we both had seen each other and locked eyes.We never met after that."

Lana:"How do you feel about Cia?"

(Y/n):"What is This?
An investigation?"

Lana:"Just answer I'm interested in your opinion."

(Y/n):"Fine but after you have to answer mine after."

Lana just stuck her tongue out at the taller male.

(Y/n):"Cia seems....Drunk off love.
It seems like she loves Link so much that she was willing to do anything for him to be hers."

Lana was about to speak but then (Y/n) continued.

(Y/n):"It's either that or something took advantage of her weakness of loving Link to much."

Lana:"You are much closer on the second guess than the first."

She looked at the unconscious woman and sighed.

Lana:"Me and her had a very close relationship before someone took advantage of her."

(Y/n):"Now time for me to ask you some questions!"

Lana just let out a small laugh.

Lana:"Go ahead."

The two had several small conversations like this on while walking to where ever they could go.

They eventually found a town to settle in.

They both put in some rupees and got a house of sorts.

It wasn't too big but it was just right for what would be three different people.

A few hours after the two got used to the living arrangements,Cia had begun to wake up.

Cia:"Lana?
Where are you?"

She sounded like a scared lost child.
The way she called out for Lana broke (Y/n)'s heart.

Lana had accidentally laid on him when she had gotten tired.

(Y/n) softly shook Lana to wake her up.

She drowsily looked up at (Y/n) and was about to ask him what was wrong but she heard Cia.

Cia:"Please,I need you....I'm scared...."

Lana quickly got up and went to Cia.

(Y/n) didn't go with her just so that they could have their moment.

After Lana had a few moments to calm Cia down and inform her of the situation that they were in.

Cia bawled on Lana's shoulder,remembering what she had done.
What the darkness had made her do.

She seemed like a completely different person.

Lana stayed in the other room but Cia came out to talk to (Y/n).

Cia:"H-hello."

(Y/n) turned to the stuttering woman to see her slowly advancing towards him.

She didn't have her weapon but it sent the message that was nervous.

(Y/n):"Hello,I'm (Y/n),a soldier that's a good person for fun....and profit."

Cia laughed at his quiet comment.
Her laughed brough metaphorical light to the room.

The two acquaintances quickly became friends.
They had 2 conversations before Lana came back into the equation.

The first conversation about their fight.
Cia was constantly applauding (Y/n) for disabling her spell.
(Y/n) just stayed humble and said that it was mostly Link that did the fighting.

Cia:"I looked with my own eyes.
You fought just as hard if not more than Link.The fight was a long and hard one."

(Y/n) just gave Cia a heartfelt smile due to her words.

The second conversation they had was about Lana.
(Y/n) gave Cia a few interesting questions about Lana and their relationship with each other.
The question that told Cia that (Y/n) wasn't normal was when he brought up Link.

(Y/n):"Did you and Lana know that each other like Link?"

Cia stayed silent for a moment before she answered.

Cia:"We did.
I was absolutely infatuated with him while she tried to bring normal me back,I just pushed her away."

(Y/n):"Did...you know that Link had Zelda?"

Cia let out a small sad laugh before continuing.

Cia:"I was so blinded by my "love" that I didn't even realize the whole truth."

Cia put her head down.

(Y/n) walked over to the saddened woman,Bent down,put his hands on both sides of her face,and lifted her head up to look at him.

(Y/n):"Everyone makes mistakes,you just made on that dealt with love.
Love can make someone weak,or extremely powerful.
Link may not love you but you will find someone who will."

Cia looked deeply into (Y/n)'s eyes.
He looked back into hers.
The two slowly started to close their eyes and started to drift towards each other.

Lana walked in the room at the most inconvenient time.

Lana:"Hey (Y/-"

Both Cia and (Y/n) looked at Lana with a blush on both of their faces.

(Y/n) instsantly backed up from Cia and looked at Lana.

(Y/n):"Yeah,What's up?"

(Y/n) tried to act like the situation with Cia didn't happen.

Lana:"Should I get some food?"

(Y/n):"Umm Yeah,I'll go with you."

(Y/n) looked at Cia with a light blush on his face.

(Y/n):"Um,Cia so you wanna come with us?"

Cia looked at Lana for any kind of faltering.

Lana just nodded and gave Cia a thumbs up.

Cia:"Y-yeah."

(Y/n),Cia,and Lana went to eat.
(Where ever they eat in Zelda games...)

Lana and Cia had an important conversation while (Y/n) wasn't nearby.

Lana:"What happened earlier?"

Cia jumped at the sudden question from Lana.

Cia:"Nothing....Nothing happened.."

Lana:"I don't believe you.We have a partial mental connection."

Cia let out a sigh.

Cia:"When I up,I had three things in my mind.
One was (Y/n) saving my life,One was where were you,and the other was your conversation with him."

Lana was about to start talking but Cia continued.

Cia:"He's just like Link....but somehow better.....I've fallen for him to quickly...I just want to feel safe....and I wanted that from Link...Now I have it and I don't want to lose it....."

Cia had some tears that slowly slid down her cheeks.

Lana hugged her other part.

Lana:"We won't lose him....He won't leave us.."

(Y/n) started to approach them but he signalled to Lana and asked if they needed sometime.

Lana held up her hand to signal that she needed about five minutes.

(Y/n) nodded and left just as he came.

Cia just cried into Lana's chest,letting out all of her pent up emotions,for three minutes.

After her sobs turned into steady breathing,Lana started speaking to her again.

Lana:"If we want to win over (Y/n),we need to look good right?"

Lana heart leapt as she thought about (Y/n).

Cia just let out a small giggle as she fixed herself up.

Cia:"Are we both going to go after him?"

Lana:"I don't see why not,we're basically the same person."

(Y/n) soon returned they all had nice conversations and soon headed home.

The three continued to talk at home until (Y/n) went to bed.

Cia and Lana spoke to each other for hours until they both agreed to go to sleep.

They were all peacefully asleep until Lana and Cia had a connected nightmare.

The nightmare was about Zelda taking (Y/n) and having both (Y/n) and Link.

They both woke up in a sweat.
They talked to each other and agreed to sleep with (Y/n) for some kind of comfort.

They did and they all slept peacefully.

(Y/n) woke up to see Lana on his Left and Cia on his right,they also were holding each other's hands.

(Y/n) just went back to sleep,thinking that he was still dreaming.

Cia awoke to find Lana and (Y/n) still asleep.

She knew that she and Lana needed to confess soon in order to feel truly safe.

She just sighed and laid her head back down.

After a while of sleeping all three of them woke up.

Cia and Lana had to lie and say that they simply had a nightmare about (Y/n) dying and they wanted to make sure (Y/n) was safe.

(Y/n) believed them because of Cia's moment of weakness the day prior.

The day went by pretty normally.
They talked,enjoyed them selves,and an overall good time.

The day was like that until Lana confronted (Y/n).
She was confronting him about making moves on Cia.
She knew that he wasn't trying to take advantage of her but she wanted to hear it for herself.

Lana:"What happened with Cia yesterday?"

Lana didn't waste any time on slowly asking him questions,or warming him up.

(Y/n):"W-What do you mean?"

Lana stepped closer to the put off male.

Lana:"I think you know exactly what I mean."

Lana walked over to (Y/n) and ran her fingers over his chest.

Lana:"Right?"

(Y/n):"U-Uh...I was talking to her..That's all that happened..."

Lana:"I don't believe you."

Lana brought (Y/n)'s head down to her level.

Lana:"What about trying to kiss her?"

(Y/n):"W-What kiss?"

Lana:"Like this!~"

Lana pulled (Y/n) into a deep kiss.
She easily dominated him because of his flustered reaction to the kiss.

The kiss went on for a surprisingly long amount of time.

When the two broke up,(Y/n) looked at Lana with wide eyes.

Lana just winked at (Y/n) and left the room.

(Y/n) just looked in front of him in slight shock.

Cia walked into the room to see the dazed (Y/n).

Cia:"(Y/n).."

(Y/n) looked at Cia.
He felt like he went brain dead.

Cia walked up to him and kissed him,just as Lana did.

The kiss was loving and passionate as a kiss should be.

Cia pulled away and also walked out of the room.

(Y/n) just sat down on the nearest comfortable object.

After a few hours Lana and Cia went to go talk to (Y/n) at once.

Cia:"Hey (Y/n)!"

(Y/n) was still pretty confused on what happened earlier so he just froze when his name was called.

Cia:"It's okay."

(Y/n) looked up to see Lana and Cia standing by each other.

Lana:"We both kissed you in order in purpose!"

(Y/n):"O-ok..."

Lana:"What you aren't happy?"

(Y/n):"Isn't this a bit I don't know...fast?"

Lana:"Nope,If we wait someone else might scoop you up!"

(Y/n) let out a low chuckle as he looked at the two girls.

(Y/n):"Well then,Let's talk about this."

The three talked about their relationship.
Cia and Lana told (Y/n) about their past and how they used to be a single person.
The three truly cared for each other and the conversation showed that.

Now would be the time to say that they all lived happily ever after.

But no,They lived with bumps.

But no matter what.....

They lived.......

Together.
