"Ichi-nii! Wake up! It's almost 10 you're gonna miss breakfast!" Yuzu's voice calls from downstairs. "I know it's Saturday but come on! Lazy bones." She complains. Yuzu's voice causes Rukia to stir from her sleep first. With her coming to consciousness her eyes flutter open and blink a few times, ridding herself of the slight blurriness that comes with waking from a deep sleep.

Immediately she notices that something is amiss, instead of seeing the inside of the closet door she sees Ichigo's desk and slightly messy floor. As she looks around she notices that it was her clothes that were littering his normally clean room. Then it clicks, she's topless in Ichigo's bed and though she can feel she is still slightly clothed it still doesn't answer the question as to how she got into his bed. Her partner in the bed is still clothed in at least a t-shirt and gym shorts, but with how peaceful he is she doesn't have the heart to wake him. However, part of her was content in the slight predicament that she now found herself in. Though she was slightly uncomfortable with Ichigo's hand over her left breast and the other around her midsection holding her like a stuffed animal, she did feel safe and warm in his embrace. "Which one of you did this?" She asks demandingly, addressing the two spirits that live in her head.

"You needn't ask me that Rukia, I can't take over your body and make you move against your own fruition." Her Zanpakuto replies prompting the soul reaper to turn her attention to the giggling voice of her inner hollow.

"You can't be too mad can you? Besides, your inner world has been the most at peace I've ever felt with the brief time you were in our King's embrace. I just decided to give you a helping hand to get your relationship into gear." The hollow says with a slight laugh.

"If I wanted your help about this I would have asked, I'm still trying to figure out if I even have feelings for him and now you just offered up my body to him like that?!" Rukia exclaims but once again she's ignored by her hollow.

"Look, with how timid and reserved you are this was the only idea I had to get you two together. Had I left it to your devices you'd be waiting for him to make the first move and we both know he's as dense as your brother. Even Hisana had to make the first move with Byakuya." Rukia just scoffs at this statement from her hollow, now with both spirits being of no help she elects to try to get out of Ichigo's bed before. As she shifts her weight to try to stand she feels Ichigo's arms tighten around her midsection holding her close to him.

"Can we stay like this... just for a little longer?" Ichigo asks in a voice just above a whisper startling Rukia slightly. She doesn't answer, instead she swallows her anxiety before taking a deep breath and turning over in his arms now facing him.

"Ichigo... are you alright?" She asks after a few moments of silence between them. "You've never acted like this before."

"I just wanted to know if this was real and if you feel the same." He says causing her breath to hitch slightly. "I... I know this is sudden but if I didn't tell you how I felt my hollow would."

"Mine was the reason why I woke up in your bed." She responds before looking up to him. "But yes...I think I do." She answers, instinctively the two begin moving closer trying to close the distance between their lips before a low male voice clears his throat nearly causing the two to jump out of their skin.

"Hope I didn't interrupt at a bad time." Isshin's voice alerts the two to his presence, both soul reapers turning to face the shinigami captain sitting on the ledge of the loft bed where Rukia slept. "We don't have much time, Yama wants us in soul society today and Shinji wants to start your training as soon as possible. So go ahead and kiss and get ready. After breakfast we're heading to Urahara's shop."

"Wait, Dad!' Ichigo yells but his father ignores him, choosing to phase through the wall in his spiritual form leaving them alone once more. "Of course that old bastard ruined it."

"Your father is a captain?" She asks, perplexed as to the lack of reaction from him.

"I don't care. I am going to kick his ass." Ichigo declares before attempting to lunge out from under the covers and chase after his dad but Rukia puts an arm on his shoulder stopping his movement.

"Can we at least h-have the... k-kiss first?" This question from Rukia causes him to give her a slightly confused look before doing as asked. He returns to the spot they were in earlier, Ichigo in the half upright position against his headboard.

The petite form of the soul reaper in his lap moves closer to him to close the distance between their lips. Rukia closes her eyes as the two get closer and closer, Ichigo wraps an arm behind the small of her back while using the other to still support the two of them. As her soft lips press against his, he feels an overwhelming rush of her reiatsu much like the day that she gave him her powers however she feels his as well. Wanting to keep this one moment lasting indefinitely, Ichigo pushes himself to his backboard before wrapping his supporting hand behind Rukia's head. Her own hands grab at the sides of his, keeping their lips interlocked. She tilts her head to the side before deepening the kiss, but Ichigo isn't going to let her take the lead on this one. He makes the first move pushing his tongue into her mouth and battling hers as the new lovers turn their first kiss to their first make out. Removing his hand from behind her head, he snakes it down her back before grabbing her butt with both hands. He feels her gasp as he makes this move but she doesn't pull away, though it's clear that both of them are inexperienced with this. In his mind, being a Kuchiki princess she would have had suitors and know how to at least kiss someone but the slightly sloppy but heartfelt kiss from her is as perfect as he could have imagined. She separates from the kiss first, taking in long breaths as she stares into his amber eyes. Across her cheeks a deep blush has taken hold turning her pale skin a rosy color then she chuckles slightly, pressing her forehead against his she raises one of the hands from the back of his neck to his shoulder as she rubs the side of his cheek with her thumb.

"Your brother is gonna kill me." Ichigo says, causing her to laugh slightly before sitting back on his lap. Her small breasts jiggling as she rocks backwards to get a full view of her hero.

"If he didn't kill you when you showed off Hollow powers he's not gonna try to now that you're dating his sister who also has those powers. Knowing Nii-sama, he might be thinking of a reason to arrange for me to get married to you." Ichigo's face grows slightly flush at this statement. "I think we should pick this up later, maybe we can get a chance to spar in soul society once our training with Shinji is done. Your sisters probably want us to come downstairs though."

"They're gonna freak out when we tell them."

"About being soul reapers or that we're a couple now?" She asks.

"Probably the latter." He responds as the two get up from his bed and begin to get ready to join the others down stairs.

It doesn't take long for the two of them to get dressed and ready to meet up with Isshin down stairs. Though Ichigo wishes that she could stay topless for a bit longer but doesn't mind that she puts on his 'Nice Vibe' shirt. Once the two of them have finished getting ready they share a deep breath before exiting his room and heading downstairs. Once they get to the kitchen, both Ichigo and Rukia are greeted with the sight of Hirako Shinji, Kisuke Urahara and Ichigo's father all in Shinigami form seated at the table. Ichigo's sisters look between the two visitors and then to their father, slightly scared that the three men have swords and aren't even addressing them. "Ichi-nii... you see this too right?" Karin asks, pointing to Shinji who is calmly eating what remains of the full English breakfast that was plated on the table.

"With everyone here, Ichigo and Rukia, please have a seat. There are some things we need to discuss." Kisuke says before motioning for them to be seated, Ichigo pulling the chair out for Rukia before he himself has a seat. "Well, Yuzu, Karin we have something important to explain to the two of you." He begins.

"It's best you let me do that Kisuke." Isshin interrupts. "You remember how Ichigo can see ghosts right? That was always true, and then some. Each person in this room is a soul reaper, a spirit that guides lost souls to the afterlife. Kisuke, Shinji and I are among some of the most powerful known as Captains of the Gotei 13 in the soul society."

"So... that night in the cemetery when I was grabbed by something I couldn't see... that wasn't a dream?" Karin asks, prompting Isshin to nod.

"The thing that grabbed you was a Hollow, a corrupted soul that didn't make it to the afterlife and fell into despair. That same hollow killed Masaki, and last night I killed that hollow." Isshin explains before turning to Ichigo and Rukia. "Your brother and Rukia have one of those inside of them and we are going to a place where they can train to take over that corrupted part of their soul and use the power it grants. Kisuke is going to give you an injection that will let you exist in the spirit world while still alive. From there you will be protected by my side of the family, the Shibas and you might even be able to unlock some of your own powers as well." The twins remained silent for a few moments before turning to look at Ichigo and Rukia.

"If this is true... Can we see your powers?" They spoke in unison, which was rare for the twins to do.

"Don't do anything too crazy, they barely have any serious reiatsu, just reveal your spirit forms." Rukia nods before putting a red glove with a blue flame skull insignia on before gently pushing Ichigo's soul reaper form from his human body.

"Your sword is as big as your temper, Ichinii." Karin jokes seeing her brother's soul reaper form appear from his now comatose body.

"You're taking this better than I thought you would." Rukia responds before popping a soul candy into her mouth and separating from her own body.

"So, here's the plan, we are going to leave for soul society. I am going to speak with Hitsugaya about becoming his Co-captain while the two of you train with Shinji and the rest of the Vaizards who left this morning. Before I go to my old division I'm going to drop Karin and Yuzu off with my sister Kukaku. But enough about our secrets, why don't you share your new secret with us... Mrs Kurosaki Rukia." Isshin says, this statement causes the faces of the twins to light up as they turn to look at Rukia with wide and surprised smiles. Rukia herself blushing deeply at what had been said and Ichigo looks as if he's five seconds from throwing a plate full strength at his father's face.

"I... uh... oh what's the use." Rukia gives up before sighing deeply. "I-ichigo and I are now a couple." She admits causing the twins to squeal with excitement.

"I'm going to kick your fucking ass Old Man." Ichigo growls but Shinji holds up a hand stopping the young man's rage.

"There isn't time for that, put your breakfast in a doggy bag or something because we need to leave. Yama expected us in front of him an hour ago." He interrupts before collecting the food set aside for the two of them and handing it to them before walking towards the back door. "Is it up Kisuke?"

"Yep. just open the door." The scientist responds. Shinji nods before grabbing the handles of the double door and opening it revealing the ricepaper door of the senkaimon gate. Without looking back at the others in the room, Shinji walks through shortly followed by Ichigo and Rukia allowing Isshin and Kisuke to tend to the twins so that they may survive in Soul Society.

Getting across the senkaimon gate, the three immediately walk into the head captain's office where the other captains have already been seated. However there are several faces that they do not recognise as they enter. Standing before Yamamoto, are the rest of the masked army. A tall buzzcut sporting gray haired muscular man stands in a black tank top and khaki pants in a militant and rigid pose on the far right of the group. The next is a shorter green haired woman with a thin yet full hourglass like frame. Beside her a taller woman in a mini skirt and short black hair stands still in a traditional attention stance. On her left is a rather chubby fellow in a large olive green suit with pink hair. Then two more men of similar stature stand to the left of the large fellow, one with long curly blonde hair is dressed in a conductor's suit with long coattails that reach to his mid thigh. On his left an afro sporting man in a green track suit stands in a more lackadaisical pose, then finally the shortest member of the masked shinigami is a blonde feisty woman in a soul reaper's shihakusho with a moderate sized katana at her hip.

"Good morning, Yama-ji." Shinji greets as he walks to the front of the other vizard shinigami. "Sorry for the late arrival, but we needed to attend to a couple things before coming here," he explains. Almost as soon as he is finished speaking, Isshin, Kisukes and the twin arrive through the gate before it closes behind them.

"At least you're here now." The ancient captain says. "Now, I have gathered everyone here this morning to address the events of Aizen's betrayal, Yoruichi Shihoin, Urahara Kisuke, Isshin Shiba, Shinji Hirako, Love Aikawa, Rojuro Otoribashi, and Kensei Muguruma you are former captains of the Gotei 13 however several of your positions now have new captains seated. As such I will be asking that those who are current captains allow these shinigami to be a co-captain alongside you in your division so as to rectify a mistake that central 46 and I have made a century ago." Yamamoto declares. "Captain Hitsugaya, will you consent to being the Co-captain of squad ten?"

"Yes sir, Captain Shiba was my former captain before his disappearance, it will be an honor to be considered his equal." Toshiro says as he stands from his kneeling position before bowing to Isshin. As he goes to take a seat, his eyes lock with Karin for a moment, noticing the slight blush on her face as she stares back at him.

"Captain Komaura, would you be willing to work alongside Captain Aikawa?" Yamamoto asks the werewolf captain.

"It is my duty." Komamura responds.

"Captain Mayuri?" Yamamoto addresses. "I understand you and Kisuke have some slight bad blood between you two."

"I will work with him, so long as I can study the vizard captains and lieutenants. I believe that hollowfication may give us an edge over what Aizen is planning." Mayuri acknowledges before looking at Kisuke. "We may be Co-captains but we are not equals."

"I wouldn't have it any other way, my old nemesis." Kisuke responds.

"Captains, Rojuro, Shinji and Kensei you may return to your normal posts in squid 3, 5 and 9. Substitute Shinigami Kurosaki Ichigo step forward." The head captain instructs, prompting Ichigo to do as asked of him. "You have been requested by the captain of squad five to become his lieutenant. By accepting this position you must swear an oath to uphold and protect the laws and citizens of the soul society and the human world. Do you swear by it?"

"Yes sir." Ichigo responds confidently.

"Before you can take the mantle as Lieutenant of squad five, you and Kuchiki Rukia will complete the training that the vizards have in store for you as well as what I have planned for you. You have enough power to classify as a captain, being equivalent to both Captain Kuchiki and Jushiro in reiatsu strength but you have the control of an ensign rank. Once you finish the hollowfication training you shall train with me personally." Ichigo nods at the old captain before walking back to his spot beside Rukia. "We are at war. Captains go to your divisions and Vizards begin your training. I want Captain Kensei to work with Mayuri first for this new project he is preparing. Dismissed!"
