Imagine kissing Kili
Imagine requested by LionessSister ; Imagine kissing Kili lightly based on Xander and Cordelia from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
'Look out!' was the only warning you got before Kili released his arrow. You ducked just in time when you felt a light breeze rushing over the top of your head. Thankfully the arrow did find it's mark. You still send Kili an angry glare. It would have been so impressive if he had only looked your way. 'Do you care to join the fight or what?' Kili yelled, slaying some more orc's. A single huff was the only response he got.
It was only you and him in the small cottage in the woods. No place for a fight like this. Yet the orc's didn't care. They simply wanted you dead. Annoyance made you fight harder and luckily for you, and Kili always knew how to push the right buttons. He had wandered of to 'look for mushrooms' deep in the forest and Bilbo didn't think much of it. The older dwarfs were somewhere else, disgussing 'grown-up' stuff.
So there was no one else to stop him but you. Because you knew full well where he was going. While you were walking he had seen a small cottage somewhere along the road. He had suggested staying there so that the company would finally have a roof over their heads again. Dwalin had grumbled something and had turned around. Fili had to try real hard not to roll his eyes while Thorin looked at his youngest nephew like he had lost his mind.
'A cottage in the middle of the woods is never unoccupied. I don't want to be ambushed by orc's' Thorin said before also turning around. This was a strong indication that there was no room for arguments. 'But uncle, I swear that nothing will happen to us. We haven't seen an orc in days!' Kili tried. His uncle didn't even respond to that. Balin had send him a symphatic look and patted the younger dwarf on the shoulder.
So here you were fighting at least twenty orc's because, hey, they shouldn't be there! 'Have you already told them that they can't be here if we haven't seen them in days?' you asked, chopping another arm off from your opponent. You felt something heavy against your back. For a second you dared to look back and saw that Kili was standing against you. You were surrounded by four orc's. More of those filthy creatures were waiting outside.
'I am sorry. I can't hear you because you are so mature and would never get yourself in these situations' he shot back. You jumped to the left to avoid an axe that was coming your way. Now wasn't the time to argue with the only ally you had but this was not unusual for the two of you. 'Let's not waste our energy battling each other. We have enough to worry about.' Kili huffed. 'Now you sound exactly like my uncle.' He grabbed his sword quickly to stab an orc in his stomache.
'Everyone knows you are trying to fit in with the adults. You don't have to make it more obvious.'
'Excuse me?' He was lucky you had too many orc's on your mind. 'Just because I don't want to be a kid anymore and play in the dirt doesn't mean that I want to befriend the adults.' Then, four more orc's came walking into the small cottage. Your heart skipped a beat. 'Kili, we have a situation.' The brunette turned around to see what you meant. His eyes widened and for a moment he lowered his sword.
The orc's surrounded you. They came closer and made you walk backwards. Your mind was racing to come up with a solution. But there wasn't one. There were simply too many of them. If only you could hide somewhere so that you could make some sort of a trap. A small place where yo- 'Kili! Follow me!' you said. You spun around fast and ran to the end of the room to open the door to the basement. Kili had followed you but he suddenly stopped when he realised what you wanted to do. 'Durin's don't run from a fight to hide!' he said stubbornly.
'Suit yourself' you said, shrugging, and ran down the first few steps. Kili looked back to see the orc's running towards him. 'On the other hand, maybe that's why they all died' he said before running after you. He quickly closed the door behind him and locked it. The orc's were banging against it with their weapons. Lucky for you it was made out of metal. Maybe there had once lived a dwarf here.
'Wonderful, now we are trapped!' Kili shouted to no one in particular. You were looking around to find stuff you could use for a trap. Why had the last person who lived here taken all the good stuff with them? 'Stop whining, you didn't have to follow me down here. Would you rather be orc stew?' Silence. Kili turned away from you, his sword raised to guard the only entrance to the room. If only there had been a small window, you could have escaped through there.
You sighed in defeat when you came up with nothing but dust, an old carpet, a painting and more dust. The only thing you could do right now was to await your death. 'This is all your fault' you said instead. You refuged to die without letting that stubborn dwarf know that you had nothing to do with this situation. Kili snorted. 'My fault? You didn't have to follow me back to this cottage. A grown-up would have stayed put like she was told to.'
You crossed your arms. 'We wouldn't be in this mess if you would have stayed put like you were supposed to' you shot back. 'Your uncle gives you one simple command and you can't even listen to that! No wonder everyone looks up at Kili and still looks at you as a dwarling!' Kili dropped his sword and came stomping your way. 'At least the company doesn't think I am licking their butt because I want to be viewed as an adult! Why are you even here?! Like I said before, you didn't need to follow me! That was your own choice' he shouted.
You laughed sarcastically. 'I came after you because I didn't want you to get hu- because your ideas never work out the way you think they will' you corrected yourself mid-sentence. Kili frowned. 'What was that?'
'What was what?' you asked stubbornly. You ignored the fact that your cheeks were heating up.
He took a few steps closer to you, his eyes trying to find something in yours. 'You said that you didn't want me to get hurt' he almost whispered.
You stuck your nose in the air. What was he talking about? You hadn't said that! You had cut yourself off before you could say that... That was different. But you couldn't keep this face for too long. You looked at him from the corner of your eye. 'And what if I did?'
Kili's smile was positively smug. 'That would mean that you are in love with me.'
'You jump to conclusions rather quickly master dwarf.'
He shrugged. 'If that is not the case, then why are you blushing?'
Your eyes widened in shock. 'Just listen you stock up dwarf.' You pointed a finger at him. 'You flirt with every girl in your sight! Maybe you need to learn that not every girl is after you and your horrible attitude! Who would want to be with someone that can't keep himself out of danger?' you yelled. This was so much better then being nice.
Kili's face turned serious again. 'I am not the one who sends man running away from her because I am too afraid to commit to a relationship! What was wrong with the last boy who offered to court you? Was he too polite for you?'
For a moment you simply stood there, staring each other down. When a sudden heat flamed up in both your eyes. Maybe you should have paid more attention to the sounds above your heads, but that was out of the question at the moment. Kili was the first to break the silence 'You know what is really annoying about you?'
You narrowed your eyes. 'Bring it on dwarfling.'
'The most annoying thing about you is that you get on my nerves but still you are the only one I think about before I go to sleep and when I wake up! Who do you even think you are to take over my thoughts like that.
Your heart jumped through several hoops when you heard those words. 'Luckily for you it arey images. I am stuck with the feeling of your arm around my waist when you pulled me up from the river. How do you think I deal with the reminder of that warm sensation every night?'
You stared at each other a little while longer before Kili growled and lunged himself forward. At the same time you threw yourself at him. He wrapped you in his arms and your lips collided. The kiss was sloppy, frantic, a lot of teeth and tongue and definitely desperate. Both of you had been waiting for this for so long. Never knowing that the other wanted it too.
When you pulled back you only had eyes for each other. You were both panting. Your lips were slightly bruised because of his rough actions. How were you going to explain that to the company? His tunic was slightly open at the place your hands had roamed. Kili suddenly laughed. You couldn't help yourself and joined him. The situation seemed so silly when you thought about it.
'Maybe they have simply lost their minds' a deep voice said. Kili quickly grabbed his sword and put himself in front of you. 'Just because we kissed doesn't mean I suddenly turned into a maiden in dispair' you said in annoyance.
Though that feeling quickly disappeared when you saw who was standing at the top of the stairs. Fili, Dwalin and Bofur were all looking down at you. The head of an orc came rolling down the stairs. 'How long have you been in here?' Fili asked confused.
'Quite some time would be my guess. I never thought they would admit their feelings to each other' Dwalin said amused.
Your cheeks heated up. 'Pardon me? I have no clue what you are talking about.' You ran up the stairs and pushed yourseld through the small group of dwarves. 'Of course not (y/n), nothing happened down there' Bofur said sarcastically. You glared at him but decided not to say another word. You walked outside of the cottage, finding every single orc in small pieces.
'So, what happened?' Fili asked when his brother finally walked up the stairs as well. 'I have no idea what you are talking about brother.' Kili excited the house as well.
'Oh come on, at least give me a clue!' Fili yelled after him.
