I know its sad, I won't be doing a part two alternate universe that he dies, due to the fact that some of the characters have already died. I haven't done preferences in a while so I thought I might! Also if you guys want me to add any characters to my preferences just comment their names! I apologize in advance for any heartbreak I have caused.

Frodo: When in Dolguldor (sorry if I spelt that wrong) when the hobbits set the fire, you were stabbed by a morgul blade, Aragorn rushed to save you and Frodo, but when Arwen came to your rescue it was too late, Frodo never healed fully.
"Some hurts just go too deep." Is what he always says when asked about you.

Sam: When nearing the black gate of Mordor, there was no way in, Gollum had taken a hatred to Sam but he hated you more deeply for you made 'the fat hobbit' happy, his hatred lead to your murder. Gollum saw the guarding orcs and pushed you off the rocks, started as only a fall that would knock you out, but he knew that you would be taken, and tortured. Sam tried to avenge your death, he searched for you when in search of Frodo, Frodo saw them kill you and begged them not too. Sam was never the same, his joy was missing, he never married, but decided to join Frodo, and Gandalf to the undying lands.

Pippin: The Stuart of Gondor had killed you, you ram to save Faramir along with Pippin, but having the brave heart you had you dived on the burning bed of wood and oil and pulled Faramir off, though it was too late for you to jump, you burned to death. Pippin lived the rest of his life quietly, never loving another, he had reacurring nightmares of your death. He never found peace until he joined you many years after.

Merry: You and Merry went along with Eowyn to the battle, Theoden didn't like the idea of any of you fighting, and to correct his judgement you went to fight. Although, it took a turn for the worst when the witch king killed you. Of course, Eowyn avenged your death, but Merry took it hard. It took him years to heal, and as if he was stabbed with a morgul blade he never fully healed.

Aragorn: You died in the attack on Gondor, you were with Pippin and Gandalf on that part of the quest, and you were killed when crushed by a stone thrown by a troll. It only landed on your legs, but you lost too much blood to survive, when Aragorn found you, it was too late. He grew old, and married, he loved her but always remembered you, he didn't live in a deep puddle of sadness. He made the decision to be King, and he and his wife bore a son, who lead on to be a great King as his father. It's what you would have wished upon him.

Legolas: You went along with Legolas on his journey after BOTFA, and that's when you both came across Aragorn. Many years later your apart of the fellowship and your unfortunate death was in battle, alongside the undead. You were captured by a nazgul and as you were in its mouth you decapitated it, though the bite along killed you, it went too deep and the infection went too far too fast. Legolas never really reacted to deaths but when it came to yours he was never the same, he went to find solemn for the rest of his days.

Thorin: You were burned alive when Smaug came to Erebor many years before, you wouldn't let Thorin go without you to defend the gates and do to your unbelievable strength he didn't expect your death to follow. Thorin of course grew older in anger. He loved you, you were his one, you were the true reason he wished to reclaim Erebor, so that someday when his death came, he could be buried in the place you lay in ashes.

Fili: You were killed in The Battle Of The Five Armies, you were a human, a friend of Bard's and had fallen in love with the young blond dwarf in LakeTown. Bard asked of you to bring his children to safety, as you fulfilled but you were slaughtered on your way back to tell Bard his children were safe. Tauriel found you afterwards, she witnessed Fili's death, and knew you were with him that very day in Paradise. That didn't stop her from finding a way for a proper funeral, so you could be buried alongside your lover, and hers. You were a dear friend if hers from many times when Mirkwood and LakeTown would share in goods, and she missed you deeply for the remainder of her life.
(Sorry if you didn't want to be best friends with Tauriel, I ship kiliel and find her amazing even though she isn't in the book)

Kili: You were killed in Mirkwood, when he got shot by the morgul arrow you went into ultimate defense mode and attacked at will. To your disadvantage you were stabbed in the heart by one of the filthy orcs. Which caused a fast death on your part. Kili was saved and healed in Laketown but he lived the rest of his life in sorrow, which considering the battle following after he didn't have to wait very long to be with you again.

Bilbo: You were never the adventure type, from the start you thought you were going to die, but you survived. You hadn't died until many years after while still living in the shire alongside your husband Bilbo, you of course both spent the rest of your days in the undying lands with your nephew Frodo, after his long journey. You died of old age.

Bard: It was an orc raid in Laketown, Bard was locked up and at the moment all you could could focus on was saving your children (Bain, Sigrid, Tilda) you got them safely into a boat but it could only fit three, in fact you were lucky it could fit that. You had to find another way, Bain lead their way out but you being left behind, you were killed by an orc just as your kids started to row away, your back was turned. You considered yourself lucky even if such a situation for you had a chance to say goodbye to Bard as he made his escape, and the children.

Thranduil: You being a rebellious figure when Thranduil turned away from the dwarves (when Smaug came) you went in to fight, you were the only elf Thorin did not despise for it was your bravery, and heroic nature that helped them that day. But to uncertainty you were killed, and later found on the battlefield by Thranduil. Which was why Thranduil had such a hatred to the dwarves, and til the day he dies he will always blame the dwarves for your outcome.
