Frodo
Request by iam_thenerd I hope you enjoy it!! It takes place after the journey to Mordor.
You waited patiently for Frodo to come back from his journey, your patience turned to anxiousness and after 6 months your hope was lost. You knew Frodo was strong but you believed he may of died.
You tried desperately to move on with your life but to no avail. You got out of bed in the morning and to you that was a blessing. Your mind just couldn't go back to normal, it felt like without Frodo your mind was wondering aimlessly, waiting for its return.
You slipped out of bed that morning as you normally did, and let out a deep sigh. You looked around your small hobbit room bringing your gaze to the floor.
You were snapped out of your trance when a knock came to your home's door.
It took everything you had to get up and walk to answer, but you succeeded.
You couldn't believe your eyes when you saw who stood in front of you.
"Frodo?" You asked gently, frozen in your stance.
"Vinny." He sighed, a smile appearing on his face as you jumped into his arms.
"I thought you had died." You separated, then looking in his eyes.
"I couldn't, the universe wouldn't allow it." He replied.
"I'm glad." You smiled.
"I missed you deeply, I wished to write but Gandalf was afraid it would be traced, or that you would not receive it."
"Your letters would have only worried me deeper, your safety was on the line, every minute of your whole journey, I know I couldn't have done it." You chuckled, letting him in your humble hobbit hole.
"Would you like tea?" You asked.
"Yes, thank you." He replied, smiling as he sat down at the table in your dining room.
"Why don't you think you could have done the journey? Your quite a strong hobbit." He chuckled.
"I don't know Frodo," you started
"I'm not really adventurous, I don't like to leave my humble home just out of the blue, I need warning, plans, you already knew that though." You finished.
"Maybe so, but I believe if you let loose, just that once, you would have made legends." He over exaggerated.
You laughed and poured his tea.
"Well thank you." You smiled, sitting down at the table beside him.
"So, tell me of your journey."
"Alright, but before I do, I love you." He smirked cheekily.
"I love you too." You blushed.
"Well you already know of what happened with Gandalf, so I'll just start from outside the Shire, SamWise and I on our way to Bree. The farthest away we had ever been." He began his story.
He told the tale late into the evening, not losing your attention for even a split second. You were glad he was alive and well, and back with you.
