Lin stood in front of the mirror, her long white dress flowed just the right amount, it dragged behind her a mere 5ft, the detail in the beads and gems surrounding the top caught her vision.

Lin laid her hand upon the fabric as she turned her gaze upon her newly styled hair, a crown would be placed upon her head this day. She had an up do, a headband braid with flowers in it, a long lace veil covering some of the white flowers.

She smiled and turned to her mother behind her, who had sewn her dress and styled her hair for this special day, the day she would marry Fili, and truly become his princess.

"Thank you mother, you did wonderfully." Lin embraced her mother with a giggle.

"I would say so, you look absolutely beautiful." Her mother teared up, bringing Lin back in for another embrace.
"Oh Linny, its so hard to let you go." She let go and sat herself in a chair.

There was a knock at the door.

"Everyone is ready for you darling." Lin heard the familiar voice of her father and ran to the door.

"Come in, Father." She smiled hiding her dress behind the door. As he entered she came into view and like his wife a tear came to his eye.

"My little dwarfling,"
"When did I command that you become a woman." He frowned, Lin chuckled and held onto her fathers arm. She looked back to her mother.

"Mother, you must hurry to your seats, mustn't miss a thing." She giggled, her mother smiled, standing up and kissing Lin's cheek.

"I love you Linny." She smiled to her husband and daughter before rushing down the golden halls to the grand hall where the ceremony would take place.

Lin sighed, taking a step with her father. One step lead to another and before she knew it the music had started and down the golden stairway they walked.

Fili couldn't keep his eyes off his wife to be, and neither could any other in the room. Even the young dwarflings stared in awe. His smile became bigger the closer his bride came.

This was the moment, her father kissed her forehead and handed his special little girl over to the eldest Durin Prince, to be wed.

Fili helped her on the steps. Reaching the top he grasped his hands in hers, looking at her like he was looking at his whole world, and he was.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife. Prince Fili, you may now kiss your Princess." The dwarf said, and without hesitation Fili dipped his wife down into a passionate kiss she didn't expect.

The crowd cheered, as Lin threw her bouquet of flowers into the hoard of dwarves. Only to see Kili had caught it, creating laughter to fill the grand hall.

Joy that would forever fill their lives, as Prince and Princess Under The Mountain.

(Of course later on they'll be King and Queen but you know that!)
